As a new customer, I was especially thankful that they were able to fit me into their schedule within just a few days--a rare level of responsiveness that's hard to find. A crew of two talented landscapers spent the day at my yard and transformed it. This included pruning, weeding, planting shrubs, mulching, planting grass in some bare areas, and repairing a block wall around a bed. Their work was meticulous! As an example, after mulching, they manually separated and dusted the landscaping blocks around the beds. The shaping of all my boxwood shrubs was exceptional. My neighbors immediately commented on how great everything looks and what a stand-out job was done. Throughout the process, communication was excellent. The owners stopped out also. When I notified them that they needed to remove my leaves, they "forgot" and came once a week to uselessly blow my leaves to the curb. Where they sat. Ours didn't seem to know much about hardscaping, even less about masonry. They produced a decent landscape design, but the price was $1600! There are a plethora of local landscape architects that will create a plan for half that amount. We got out at $1600. Having met with three other design build companies, I realize that PG pricing is about double the going rate. The PG would have charged $78K for a full landscape; other local companies are coming in at $40-$50K.

If it snows three times, they only come once. my sister and I have to shovel our long driveway ourselves to go to the doctors or store, why are we paying a service to do it ourselves? they put in sticks in the fall to determine the width and then ran over them so now they cant tell how wide is our driveway and only plows half the driveway. They haven't replaced the sticks, which is in the contract as their responsibility, and they won't answer the phone. I really hope these people are ready to retire because they are losing business year after year with no integrity at all. Please do not hire them. They do not care. I can't express to you how inconvenient they have made our lives. This is an essential service people rely on. It can be dangerous to have an unreliable service. We were stuck so many times this winter. Our next door neighbor in comparison had a service that was more reliable, will be going with them moving forward.

I didn't know really what to ask for other than including a plant that would be enduring. I picked it up in a few hours and it was soooooo beautiful---I almost wanted to keep it for myself:-) Anyway it was a big hit with the doctor and felt it was money well spent. Whoever did the arrangement was very talented with a good eye for plant and color selection, placement of the flowers was pleasing to the eye. They really took the care and time to do something really nice and would use them again.
