If they weren't interested in taking the job, they should have been honest and said so from the beginning instead of leaving a customer waiting. Complete waste of time. Reply to the owner comment: "I think you're missing the point. I couldn't care less whether you take the job or not--that's completely your choice. My issue is with the lack of communication and respect for the customer's time. It shouldn't take almost two weeks to let someone know you can't do the job. A simple timely response from the beginning would have been appreciated and would have avoided wasting my time."
