The Love Nest had the doors open and people walking in and out, and yeah before I went in, I knew what it was.. it was the little shop of fun..The girl working there was really friendly and greeted everyone that came in the door. A lot of couples were in here browsing for massage oils it seemed like. They have a lot of selection in here from games to serious toy action. What a great idea in a place where so many hotels are and the winter nights are long and cold.

I asked if it was illegal to carry XXL muscle and t-shirts in size XXL in Whistler (as almost every shop I went into had none). They shrugged and said they did not know why. I asked them to pass on to management that they need to carry XXL sizes. Who knows if they actually will. I did find one North Face polo in a XXL in blue - which I bought. That saved them from a 2 star rating!

Worst Experience Ever I purchased a $1,300 jacket for my son…read moreon January 2, 2026. Within just a couple of days, the zipper began jamming intermittently, and on Jan 7, 2026 when I brought it into the store, it jammed several times while I was there, clearly demonstrating that the issue was real and ongoing. Given the price and the fact that the jacket was obviously defective, I expected a straightforward exchange. Instead, I was told that under no circumstances would the store exchange the jacket for the same model. The only solution offered was to ship it to the manufacturer for repair and return it in approximately three weeks. This is completely unacceptable, especially since we are currently in the middle of a ski trip and the jacket was purchased specifically for this purpose. The associates assisting me were Chi Yiu and Jenn. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told none was available. I then requested the manager's contact information, which they refused to provide. The company advertises a lifetime warranty, yet when a $1,300 jacket turns out to be defective almost immediately, they refuse to do the right thing and replace it. Instead, they attempted to blame the issue on how the zipper was being handled, suggesting it needs to be treated "in a specific, gentle way" to avoid jamming. This explanation is unreasonable. I own jackets that cost a fraction of this price and have never experienced zipper issues. This company, this specific store, and their products are grossly overpriced for the poor quality they provide and fail to stand behind their products. Selling a defective item at this price point and refusing a simple exchange is unacceptable.

I catastrophically broke my frames while on holiday in Whistler. Frantically tried to find someone…read morewho could fix them or maybe replace the lenses into new frames when I was referred to Bailey Nelson as a new optometrist who may have time to see me (everyone else was booked up with appointments). As soon as I walked in the door I felt welcomed, validated, important, valuable and cared for. They expressed immediate sympathy about the breakage, and started brainstorming how to help me when the optometrist, Dr. Mitchell Bennett, suggested the least expensive option of doing a contacts fitting and giving me a free set of sample contacts. OMG! Amazing! I had no idea contacts could feel so comfortable -- it has been 20 years since I wore them, of course -- and that someone could be so kind while helping me resolve what had been a stressful situation. Dr. Bennet was happy to give me enough lenses to last me until I could get down to Vancouver and get a new, quick pair of glasses to get me home (or buy more contact lenses, but they are SO expensive nowadays). Anyway, everyone in this office was amazingly supportive and helpful and got me back to my vacation quickly. Thank you, all! :)

They have a lot of good brands such as Arc'teryx, Deuter, and Salomon…read more They carry a lot of things for camping, rock climbing, cross country skiing, trail running, and some items for alpine skiing as well. They also rent cross country skis. The service here is good. I bought a pair of Arc'teryx mittens here once after a wrist brace failure meant buying a pair of mitts I had, but had left at back in the flatlands. The wrist strap failed after a few days. I went back and asked if I could get a new strap. The guy at the store called about the warranty, but Arc'teryx does not ship the strap separately. He fused the strap for me himself in the store, and it was ready when I returned at the end of the day. Another time I came in asking about pit zips in jackets and the man I spoke with was very honest about the breathability of the jacket. Surprises in the breathability of rainwear rarely lead to a pleasant day in the rain, so I really appreciated that. I just got a pair of trail runners here at their fall shoe sale. They were a pretty good deal and the lady warned me they were "final sale" more than once. The seem want you to be happy with your purchase here, which is really nice. I recommend this store. If they don't have what you are looking for the same person also owns the large Arc'teryx store nearby.

This is probably the SMALLEST Aritzia store in the company... I really do not think I've been to a smaller Aritzia... and trust me, I've been to a lot of Aritzia stores :) So obviously due to their lack of space, their selection is not THAT big. Of course they carry the core items such as blazers, winter coats, jeggings, etc but if you're coming here to really indulge and go on a crazy Aritzia spree, it's probably not the best place. But because it is a smaller store, it also offers the benefits of finding certain sizes not available in other locations or specific items that were sold out at other stores still available here. They definitely cater to the Whistler population and are stocked on winter jackets, Sorel and Ugg boots. Whether you are a tourist, traveler visiting Whistler Village or native Canadian, Aritzia is a MUST for any women who love shopping, fashionable yet casual and comfortable clothing. Although expensive, their quality is generally decent and nothing beats something that LOOKS good, FEELS good and is stylish :)
