Everyone from just starting out to "woah, that's some serious muscle" work out here. I came to Cuong for a myriad of reasons. The main reason I came was to buff up for an apprenticeship I applied for- so I'm at a steady healthy level like the 20 year olds I'm competing against. In the mix of things, SO many reasons to be there got brought up that my focus on why I needed it... broadened. Immensely. A few thing's I can see that I love, and I'm currently on my 2nd week: The consistency of the plans, full body to start, consistency on food intake for any with confusion on dietary needs, the gym is small, private, quiet, and the staff is personable. (If you're like me and don't like people, this would be an awesome gym for you!) The cost: Yes, it does cost you money. You're learning a new skill, one you might not have any understanding of. The cost in the long run is worth it. Initially you'll pay about $340 (if I remember correctly), eventually it bumps down to about $270. The initial joining fees are included in your first payment. The gym is $70 the first month and $50 following. The training is the same, visit their website for specifics. In the end, the personal training only (roughly if you divide the monthly cost by 4) costs about $50/mo, and the gym $50/mo imo it's worth it. I'm currently working with Crystal (Red headed woman in the photos), she is very warm, personable, kind, and forgiving (of my social inequities :D ). The work out plan I'm on I believe is a pretty basic start to see where I'm at and build from it as we go. The personal training session is calm, laid back, and very low key- so you don't feel stressed or pressured. For my work out, again, I think it's fairly basic (nothing too intense, confusing, or stressful) and it's been a great way to see what I'm capable of and where I'm at. They are very attainable work out sets, nothing too heavy, not too many. If something doesn't work for you, discuss with your trainer how to modify. I recently had to modify abs, and it was an easy adjustment. I'm very VERY glad I've taken the leap. I don't feel judged, I feel comfortable going, doing my work out and leaving, it has been a wonderful introduction into the work out lifestyle! Thanks Cuong & Crystal!

There are actually two PF's here in Sioux Falls and they really aren't that far apart- so lucky people! We really appreciate our black card membership that lets us visit any gym and use our black card membership benefits when we have time. This location has wall lockers in the public space; which we appreciate (seems safer) They have a nice room in the back for PF 360 but also abs and stretching. They have some very large mats that look permanently set so there's always room for some Mat work, which I appreciated. They do not have a bar on the wall for Barre though. I only see these at some gyms.

Like literally the male personal trainer will vacuum right at your feet and under a bench you might be using. I felt as tho I might be at my mother's house and should lift my feet up?? I mean, I've been a member at a lot of gyms, and this is not protocol. Cleaning equipment that isn't being used I can understand. Vacuuming when it's busy with people on a weight room floor is simply annoying to members and should not be done. There are definitely more appropriate times to do that, I don't care how bored the staff is. My biggest problem with this gym is that they don't have the soft bouncy plates and padded rubber for people doing exercises such as hang-clean or deadlifts, etc.. People drop the bar and weights on the box and it is RIDICULOUSLY LOUD. It's loud even if you are in the locker room, let alone just feet away. It's jarring and offensive almost its so loud. Also, and I'm not trying to be mean, but besides the trainers demeanor, which isn't very friendly; They are completely fat and out of shape. I mean if you are a personal trainer trying to promote a healthy lifestyle, that should be reflective in your appearance. Who wants to go to a personal trainer who doesn't even look like they go to a gym, let alone work/train for one. It would be like someone taking their money to a financial advisor who is completely broke. This place sucks. Sorry.

We were meeting up with family here before we headed to our vacation rental and it was the perfect place to do so. The day that we went there was a wedding party taking pictures in the green areas near the trees and as we drove further in I could see why they call this park Falls Park. There's ample parkin here and several seating and picnic tables sporadically placed through out. There's also a tower you can go up to have a better view of the falls, the park, and the surrounding area. It was also a nice reprieve from the heat of the day. There are a few trails that take you around the area and to the water. It's a lovely park to enjoy nature right in the city. When we walked closer to the falls we found the perfect picnic table under the shade to cool off. We didn't get to see the whole park but what we did see was impressive. I'd love to visit this park again should we be in the area.

During our visit, we noticed quite a bit of trash floating in and around the water, which took away from the natural beauty of the area. If you plan to explore the rocks, be sure to wear hiking shoes or other footwear with good traction, as they can be very slippery. We also enjoyed climbing the observation tower, which offers a great view of the surrounding park. Overall, it's a pleasant place to stretch your legs and enjoy nature, with just a few maintenance issues that, if addressed, would make the experience even better.

I'll say it again, lol, very well maintained!! The park is flush with green grass and is situated right by a scenic lake. Too bad I wasn't spending the night here because they offer camping. And...I am a camping enthusiast! I was here at Olson Park back at the end of June 2021 and the conditions were truly pleasant. I honestly felt like taking a blanket out of my car and having a midday nap underneath a tree, lol. I really can't say enough good things about this park. Before I do...I'll just provide some insight and details about where Olson Park is located and some of the worthwhile benefits it offers that make it such a worthwhile destination for enjoying nature and the outdoors. Olson Park is located in the town of Worthington, Minnesota. Worthington sits about 175 miles southwest of Minneapolis and only 10 miles north from the border with Iowa. It's situated about 3 miles outside downtown Worthington. I was traveling down through Minnesota along my 2021 cross country road trip. Eventually I was heading into Sioux Falls, South Dakota and further west towards Badlands National Park and the Mount Rushmore area. Along my driving for half the day, I was just a little fatigued and pulled off Interstate 90 and figured why not take some time to relax at a park and rest up before continuing on my journey. I discovered Olson Park through the wonderful app on my phone called Campendium. Upon arriving here, I was surprised they offered camping. I just figured this place was a quiet town park where you could come play some ball, have a picnic or just simply go fishing by the lake. Well cool...this Olson Park was perfect and ideal for camping! The best part being that you can set up your tent along all the fluffy and lush green grass which definitely make a for comfortable night sleep. Plus...I can't tell you enough how clean this park was! Seriously it was like out of a fresh springtime catalogue for a photo album! Lol, just reflecting back on my pictures invoke warm memories. Too bad...I should have just camped out for the night. But instead, I took it easy for a few hours before returning back to Interstate 90. Also...there wasn't a cloud in the sky during my time here. The sun reflected down on the lake's waters making for a wonderful ambiance. The campsites located next to the lake were efficiently set up. Just taking pictures of the park with the lake in the background was beautiful. For camping... - Campsites 1 - 12 w/ electric hook-up was $33 for the night. - Campsites 13 - 63 w/ electric hook-up was $28 per night. - Campsites 64 - 68 without electric hook-up was only $22 per night. All these sites were very reasonable and fairly priced for camping out at such a well-maintained park! You can book a reservation by calling 507-372-8600 Monday thru Friday. If there isn't a campsite occupied, then it's first come, first served. For spontaneous campers coming here on a whim, once you find an unoccupied site, simply claim it and then drop the fee into the courtesy box on the east side of the office if no attendant is around. And that's it, you're good to go! Here are some other terrific amenities about Olson Park... - They have a shower house with flush toilets, so no vault toilets are always a good thing, lol. - Cell phone reception worked perfectly here. - You can bring swimming apparel to enjoy the waters of the lake. - There were picnic tables situated all around. During my visit here on June 30, the park was empty. It was so quiet for such a picturesque park. And btw, it's always a benefit not having too many campers occupying the grounds. Overall...having tons of green grass, trees situated all around, good shade and a calm setting made this Olson Park to be an absolute winner in my book. I can't remember finding a better campground along my entire 5-month journey across the United States! For those who happen to be driving Interstate 90 and or making their way through the southern portion of Minnesota during their travels, I can't recommend Olson Park enough, so refreshing to discover this hidden gem of a park and campground.

The scenery here has this wide-open, tranquil, almost cinematic quality to it -- rolling greenery, shimmering water, peaceful shorelines, endless skies, and the quiet movement of the Missouri River weaving its way through the landscape like a living ribbon cutting through the heart of America. There is something deeply calming about this place. For visitors unfamiliar with the area, the recreation area sits along Lewis and Clark Lake, which was created by the Gavins Point Dam on the Missouri River. The region is named after the famous Lewis and Clark Expedition, which traveled through this part of the country in the early 1800s while exploring the vast Louisiana Purchase territory. Standing near the water, it is honestly not difficult to imagine how enormous and untamed this landscape must have felt to early explorers centuries ago. My husband especially wanted to stop here because one of his hobbies is flying drones, and he absolutely loves capturing aerial footage of the Missouri River as it winds across different states. At this point, I think the Missouri River and my husband are in a long-term relationship and I am simply there as emotional support and snack distribution. And honestly, I understand why he loves it so much. The Missouri has such a distinct personality depending on where you encounter it. My husband and I have followed portions of the river through several states over the years including South Dakota, Missouri, Montana, and North Dakota, and we have even taken river excursions on it in other regions. Each stretch somehow feels slightly different while still carrying that same immense presence and quiet historical weight. But this particular area near Yankton felt especially serene. The water was beautiful, the surrounding scenery was lush and vibrant, and the peacefulness of the area made it very easy to lose track of time simply standing there taking it all in while my husband happily maneuvered his drone around like a man conducting an aerial symphony. It truly was one of those unexpectedly lovely stops that quietly stays with you afterward.

There are plenty of camping an RV areas to set up camp. There are also a lot of parks, and bathrooms. There are trails that outline the lake, as well as trailed set closer to the highway. There are multiple entry points, but well paved roads, and signage to guide you. All the park officials we've ever ran into are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend stopping here to stay, or on your travels.

We camped for 2 nights on the east side in space 54 with only a few others nearby a few sites away. It's just what we needed to decompress after the College World Series in Omaha. Beautiful scenery and views! We had planned on renting kayaks and getting out on the lake, but with 26 mph winds, intermittent rain and clouds, it just wasn't happening. There is nobody at either entrance for camping or state park permits so it's a self pay kiosk. It looks like you can also pay for the firewood and just take it from the side, but not sure. We didn't take any due to the weather. I am wondering though, to rent a kayak is says to do so at the front gate, so there is nobody there and wondering how quickly someone would answer the phone number listed to call. Didn't find a camp store either which we had seen online and doubt it would be open if there was either being a week day and very few people at the park. We did drive 6 miles into the cute town of Canistota where you can still pump gas and then go in and pay afterwards. Nice people in the store. Overall, impressed with the cleanliness of all facilities. The restrooms were spotless and even free from creepy crawly bugs in the showers that we find at other campgrounds. Speaking of bugs, there is a multitude of little flies that bite that we were fighting off. Bug repellent didn't seem to "bug" them at all and they were so abundant we had to head indoors. Our poor pups were scratching and nipping as these things covered their fur. That is however, the only negative thing we could find here. If ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

After meeting George and Angelo boy was I glad to have my son train with them. Both are some good guys from Rhode Island. Very honest and genuine. They actually care and love what they are doing. Tough love is what you get but that's part of the game. Prices are very fair. We signed up for month to month plan for 150 month and that includes 4 days a week of training. If you pre-pay for several months in advance the monthly price drops. Parking is usually good and is available right in front of the gym. Seating is also available inside for parents to watch their kids. If you or your kids looking to get in shape or are serious about boxing give George a call. You won't regret it!

The gym has a combination of fighters and weekend warriors of all ages and fitness levels. Everyone is supported and made to feel welcome. The head trainer George is a great teacher and motivator. He knows boxing and knows how to adjust his teaching for students with different levels of experience (or no experience). I've trained at gyms in Boston, Rhode Island, and New York City but this is by far my favorite place due to the personal attention and positive atmosphere. They also have legendary Kenyan boxer David Kamau here helping out and training. In addition to being a great boxer, he's one of the most positive people I've ever meet . I walked in and took the free class they offer, got in a killer workout, reworked my jab, and signed up immediately after.

It is very flat and easily walked, but why spoil a nice round of golf with a walk?

The facility is new, fresh looking and has 2 shower rooms, 2 bathrooms, and towels to use. The bathrooms have tampons, panty liners, and deodorant. The shower rooms usually have towels in them (I'm unsure if you need to bring your own now) they have shampoo and conditioner. It's wonderful! There are classes that might be too hard, too easy, or just right , but just like the porridge and Goldie locks- learn what you like and go with it! They've got incredibly diverse classes available to all capabilities, I'm currently only taking the Yoga classes. I've heard great things about the cycle portion from both instructors to students. I've tried most classes at some point and I have yet to go to a class that I didn't like, there are some tough classes here that I needed to work to push through (and became frustrated with myself), but have never felt left out to dry or fail in a class. There were always encouraging words or ways offered to revise a movement to suit what my capabilities were. (USE YOUR BLOCKS! ;). ) I've never felt I needed to push beyond what I was able and am consistently grateful for the energy this place gives me and leaves me with during my long stressful weeks. They have their yoga classes in dark heated rooms and it makes classes so soothing at the end of a hectic day, you'll adore the atmosphere, the energy, the instructors, the facilities, the welcome, and the warm goodbyes! If I were to mention downsides it would only be 2: The cost (recently risen), it makes classes and workouts unattainable to many in a consistent manner. Last, the cost of a drop in class is unreasonably high. It's roughly $20 currently. It's almost cheaper to buy a monthly membership than do 4/5 drop classes a wk.
