I worked with Lisa who got my bland, undetailed resume in much better shape that has me confidently applying for jobs! Before updating my resume and LinkedIn, we had a brief call to discuss my qualifications as well as what I'm looking for in my next position. Additionally, she gave me some great detailed guidelines for my LinkedIn profile, which has greatly improved since working with Inside Recruiter. The price is competitive, but the services seem above and beyond what I've heard from others who have used different resume professionals. That said, I definitely think this is a 'you get what you put into it' sort of deal. I tried hard to think about my qualifications, achievements, and desired position before I talked with Lisa on the phone. That prep helped a lot - just being in that head space, really - but Lisa definitely took my ideas and ran with them to create a nice, clean resume that I'm much more proud of. I even emailed her after my call to throw in some more ideas I thought of, and she incorporated them into my final resume. My recommendation is to try and make a list of your accomplishments and skills, and try to find some ideal job listings before the call. I hired Inside Recruiter to build a resume from scratch. I was charged $492.00 which included a linked in profile overhaul and a 3 day expedited service. The work product was horrible. I have 17 years experience as a Call Center manager with a ton of experience training salespeople. Cold Call training and numerous achievements with my current employer. Lisa spent a total of 12 min on the consult that I was charged for and delivered the resume late. The work product appeared to have no time and energy invested and there was nothing that really stood out. Having wasted that time with zipjob, I didn't want a repeat experience with Inside Recruiter. I'm happy to report that I was successful in not repeating that experience (which was not being listened to and having none of my ideas appear in the draft zipbjob sent to me).
