I wanted to try Insomnia Cookies because I LOVE cookies. I especially love a good sugar cookie. When I ordered Insomnia's sugar cookie, I got a 3 inch cookie with no frosting, glaze, or even a dusting of sugar. This cost $2.70. I was extremely disappointed with the taste of the sugar cookie. It was bland and slightly gooey. Try Crumbl Cookies sugar cookie instead or even Perkins. Both have a better sugar cookie than Insomnia. Not a good value for the money. Where oh where is a zero star option??! I tried ordering cookies for my stepson on his first day of college at University of Denver. I went to the website and asked for them to be delivered at 4:30. I told my son to make sure he was in his dorm room at that time and hours later he texted me and asked why he needed to be there. So, I called the number online which is a toll free customer service line. They gave me some mixed explanation but essentially said they tried to deliver it but didn't have a phone number even though I entered it online. I was assured they would deliver them as soon as the driver got back, so I asked my stepson to make sure he was still in his dorm. Over an hour and a half later he still did not have his cookies so I called again! This time they told me they called the store and that the cookies were currently out on delivery as we spoke. You can imagine my surprise this morning when I woke up to find that they still were never delivered! During all this I emailed customer service and all they have offered me is some free cookies on a future order (which I can assure you there will not be a future order!!) and eventually a $7 credit oh my $15 order. Still no cookies and still no refund. Please do not use this business as this is no way to treat paying customers or people in general. read more

10/10 I literally love this company so much and the employees at this location are amazing. I've never tasted cookies as good as theirs. I wish I could have the recipe for their salted caramel cookie, because WOW. I don't even have words for it. Anyway, I got an order from them super late last night (I love the fact they're open so late). They were out of the salted caramel cookies, so I had to wait for them to bake more. I don't even know how long it ended up taking, but I didn't mind waiting at all. I woke up this morning to an email saying they REFUNDED IT??? Like what?! I didn't even complain or ask them to do that, but they just did it to be nice I guess! Literally made my day. Please spend your money at this store. They rock. If I could give zero stars I would. Waited over ten minutes with only two people in line. That's not even the ice cream on the cookie part. Once we got to the front, the guy at the register (who was stressed out for some unknown reason, I know cookies are complicated...) tells us two other people who were sitting down, no where near the line, were before us...What? We went yesterday and the service was horrible. My husband and I agree we are NEVER going to Insomnia Cookie every, not even in another state. The workers were so rude and degrading I felt like a burden, when it's there job to help you and inform you. Me and my husband pull up and we try to walk in to a (locked) door. 2 guys are standing there looking at me dumbfounded and then one of them finally walked over and when he opened the door and just gave me a blank look and didn't say HELLO or any greeting just stuck his head out of the door with his body in the store like he was hiding. I asked are you guys open because I was confused on his attitude and tone. And he blankly says"we're online only so you can either put in an order online or call us and put it in" and keeps staring as if I was supposed to know this information. I confirm with him that I can't come in and I have to place an order online and he just nods and I walk back to my car and put in an order we end up putting in an online order on the app and funny enough the app ordered at a different store even though it should have shown me the one we were parked in front of. We wait 15-25 minutes for our order and I have to knock (in the freezing cold) 4 times louder each time when I know the guys in the back saw me. Rude as hell. And then he tells me I must have ordered from the other store. We drive to the other store and as I'm outside (very sketchy neighborhood) waiting for the girl inside to answer I'm confronted by a drugged up dude as I keep knocking louder so she can open the door. She hands me my order finally and as we're driving off we realize that she forgot my ice cream sandwich that I paid for and she gave me an icing sandwich. Customer service was horrible shitty and lousy Locations are sketch at night Very bad app and communication skills Never again will I buy from here no matter how good they're stuff is! Meh. I took my teen thereafter her theatre performance. She was super excited but it was definitely a letdown. I agree with the previous review I saw where they mentioned the place appeared dirty. Also, the staff was not even remotely friendly. I told him we had never been there before hoping for recommendations but he more just shrugged and asked what we wanted. We ended up getting a few cookies, they were hot but not very impressive. They tasted kind of like they just plopped them out of a premade package and cooked them. Night shift manager that works at the counter needs to learn some manners. The guy that helped us prior couldnt figure out how to scan a digital giftcard. So he asked the short/small manager for help. He came out huffing and rolling his eyes. He has such a nasty attitude. He also couldn't figure out how to scan the giftcard so I handed him cash. After some time he lied and said the register is not processing... He asked how much cash I gave him and what my initial cost was. Website says they open at noon. Arrived at 1:05pm and the open sign was off and door was locked. We rang the bell and an employee or owner cracked open the door and said "I'm finishing up 3 or 4 more orders so come back in 15 or 20 minutes" and then shut and locked the door. Really disappointed considering we drove 35 minutes to specifically try these cookies. We won't ever know how they taste and that's okay. My boyfriend had brought me home some dessert from here the other night. He said that the guy at the counter was very nice, which we appreciate a lot when buying food! I rate this as three stars because first, our order was messed up, and second, the cookies were good, but not worth the price. He had ordered four cookies: two white chocolate mac and two of the double chocolate mint; we got one chocolate chip chunk, one white chocolate mac, and two of the double chocolate mint. He had also ordered ice cream on the side to make our own ice cream sandwiches at home: mint chip and cookies and cream; we got coffee and cookies and cream... so we bought our own ice cream after he had gotten home. The cookies were good, but not amazing. For the price, I thought it'd be dang good cookies, but it tastes like it's from a grocery store. The ice cream tasted cheap, seems to have a low fat content and high water content, so it's not really creamy. The ice cream from the grocery store we bought tasted fuller than theirs. The last three experiences I have had with the Denver location have been absolutely horrible. Most recently (tonight) our order appeared on the tracker to be "baking" for an hour. When we called to check on status, the customer service agent told us the cookies were out for delivery and we were next. Another hour went by. We called and were informed that our order was still at the store and it would be another 65 MINUTES until they would be delivered... On top of that, the customer service rep this time instead just offered to cancel our order instead of do anything to fix it. I love that the cookies are warm. I ordered coffee ice cream and white chocolate macadamia. The ice cream didn't taste like coffee to me and I didnt like that they put coconut shavings in the white chocolate macadamia (just personal preference)but their Snickerdoodle cookie was really good. When we got there, there was no line but shortly got really busy. Definitely were understaffed and the girl helping us was pretty rude, my niece, nephew, and younger brother ordered politely for their selves and she had an attitude telling them "Wait, my computer is not that fast!"
