Omgosh their cookies are INSANELY DELICIOUS! We came in for a small box of cookies as a late night treat. We had gone to the CAS concert and walked here from the arena. There was literally a line outside of this place but service was really quick. Staff got thru the line quickly and we were able to get back to our hotel and enjoy our cookies. I didn't notice any seating. The place was only a walk up and order type establishment. They also had ice cream available. But the smell of fresh baked cookies when you walk in is just so captivating and makes you want cookies. read more

Stopped here while I was in Orlando. The counter person, I believe his name was Ralph, was extremely knowledgeable about everything they offer and told me about every menu item. I ended up going with the classic chocolate chunk cookie with a scoop of the caramiliomare ice cream, both were delicious and would recommend for a quick sweet treat. My go-to cookie spot in Orlando! Salted caramel, oatmeal raisin, and the blonde brownie are my favorites. If I'm feeling fancy, I'll get a scoop of their Caramillionaire (Caramel) ice cream. I wish they sold their ice cream by the pint. The only drawback is parking. I usually take someone with me, hope for parking across the street, then run over for my order. A big plus is that they're open late, for those late night cravings. The girls working are always nice and offer quick service. read more

One thing that I love about Insomnia, is that it's consistent across locations. The cookies are always fresh and the service is very efficient and friendly. My favorite is the sandwich cookies that are filled with buttercream. Sometimes they can be a bit much, so I love that you can buy dippers (little cookies/frosting combos) or just a side of frosting. I'm a frosting girlie, and they have some of the best. Even though the store is located in downtown Orlando, I've never really had trouble finding parking nearby. It's pretty convenient for a late night snack after an evening downtown. read more

First things first, the cookies were delicious. However, what I observed in the store was so disgusting I'll never go back. As we were deciding what to order in this broom closet of a store, one of the employees started scraping dirty ice off the sides of the freezer, the same freezer containing two open containers of ice cream. At that point I forbade my kids to order ice cream and had them pick a cookie instead. We really should have just left but it was late and my kids had been looking forward to dessert. Also, they were out of a bunch of the cookies, so wide assortment but not all available at the same time. read more

Great tasting cookies. I think the fact that you get them all warm and toasty plays into that quite a lot. There is a great selection of flavors and I think you could pretty much find something for everyone. I understand you pay for quality and convenience but at almost $30 for a dozen cookies it's not something I would do very often. Perhaps once and a while as a special treat. read more

Attitude with the service. Ordered ice cream with brownie. Didn't ask if I want it to go. Just put it on a plate and handed it to us. I had to go back inside and ask for it to go. She handed me a box, no cup, no cover. I order from here all the time. read more

These cookies are incredibly delicious, soft, warm, and gooey. It's everything you want from a cookie, even if you don't know that's what you want. I would recommend getting a box that's full of a few different types so you can try all of them. From that box, I thought the white chocolate was very, very sweet and probably wouldn't get it again. I also wasn't a huge fan of the red velvet; not that it was bad, but the others were better. Honestly, the standout was snickerdoodle - so weird, right? If you're considering, definitely grab one. You won't be disappointed. read more

Stopped in here on a whim, expected the cookies to be comparable to crumble or night owl. I think I actually liked the one I got better than those two other places. It came out of a warmer so it was super warm, super gooey, and tasty. My only thing was that because of how warm it was it was almost too hard to eat out of the bag. I needed to maybe sit and use a fork. I had taken it to walk with. There was no one else there but it was a Monday night in downtown Orlando so that is not shocking. The employee was nice. We popped into Insomnia to grab some cookies to go after having brunch nearby. We opted to grab a half dozen and chose snickerdoodle, peanut butter, 2 chocolate chunk, double chocolate chunk, and m&m cookies. The shop itself is a cute little spot with friendly and quick service. The cookies were pretty tasty. They weren't anything that I personally found amazing, but still good and sure to satisfy a sweet tooth. My favorites were the chocolate chunk and double chocolate chunk. My boyfriend enjoyed the chocolate chunk and peanut butter the most. I wouldn't say this is the best place in town to get an amazing cookie, but it's certainly an okay spot if you're nearby or need a late night sweet tooth fix. read more

We came in on Cinco de Mayo for a sweet treat. I absolutely love the cookies from here. The M&M cookie is my favorite. My husband is a sucker for the chocolate chip. The service was great! As Brian was helping us choose and was super patient. My husband couldn't figure out what to order and Brian helped us choose a certain box. I love that they close so late. Went to satisfy my sweet tooth with friends and Insomnia hit the spot! I ordered the Icecream on a Brownie ($8 + Tax) and it was delicious. I had two scoops of the cookies n' dream ice cream on a warm brookie. It was fresh, soft, and everything you could want in a dessert. It was in a perfect size to share between two people also. Service was okay, nothing really special. The place was clean which was much appreciated considering they sell so many sweet and sticky items. I'll be back when the next craving hits. read more

Recently had to switch to a gluten free and dairy free diet for health reasons and I was truly missing soft baked chocolate chip cookies. I had tried several different boxed ones sold at Sprouts and Walmart and though they were ok, these were absolutely amazing! The ones at Fresh Kitchen are good but so small and the ones at Insomnia just blew me away. So damn delicious I was doing a happy dance with every single bite. I just wish I had bought more than 1. The cookies are pretty delicious. I ordered a six pack, everyone got something different. I picked birthday cake, it was warm, soft, and just right. I recommend this cookie because I bake a ton of cookies from scratch, and this was high on the list of great cookies. The service was decent, the woman at the register looked wiped out, I feel like Saturday won and she was done. However, she was polite and that's about all you can ask for. I mean these workers go to social media and complain, well sorry you only took one semester of JC, but that's how the service industry work, you do the work. The place was nice and clean. A funny Cookie Monster voice placed on the speaker and surprises us out of nowhere. Just go while the suns out because homeless people and kids roam the streets. Or order online because they deliver until 3AM! If you like cookies then eat these! read more

Totally worth the price of each cookie. I love soft cookies and these are exactly how cookies should be. Unfortunately they were out of oatmeal raisin - apparently that's been discontinued. It still shows up on the menu, so I recommend putting a note over it. I was ready to order before getting to the counter, but once I found out they had everything but the oatmeal raisin, I had to modify my plan. The final 6? 2 snickerdoodle 3 chocolate chip 1 double chocolate mint I am not big on snickerdoodle but wanted to grab something my toddler might enjoy. It didn't even matter what she would like. The cookies never had a chance of getting to her mouth! The double chocolate mint was the perfect amount of chewy and chocolate - not the kind that makes you regret going for all the chocolate. I never had a mint cookie before, and I wish I got some more! The snickerdoodle was soft and sweet, making it pleasant on the palate. And the chocolate chip really delivered with the amount of chocolate, it's creaminess from the warmth, and these too were perfectly soft. There were a few other flavors I would have considered (white chocolate macadamia and another double chocolate concoction), but I stayed with some safe ones since I didn't know what to expect. They have different packaged deals, plus ice cream and ice cream sandwich options. 6 cookies will run you $11. read more

4 Stars for great cookies in a pinch! A couple of years back, I was hosting an event and needed some more food at the last minute. I ordered online and ordered a large box of 50 for delivery. They ended up calling me to confirm and mentioned that normally such a large order would need more lead time, but they could fulfill. The cookies were a hit and rounded out the event nicely. More recently I've ordered cookies late at night (delivery) and once again, they hit the spot! The cookies aren't always the most inventive, but they're baked well and the chocolate stays nice and soft. Overall, I'd rather support a small local shop, but when there is a last minute (or late night) need, Insomnia is the way to go! read more

While the cookies are tasty, this place is very expensive for just a basic cookie. It's only justifiable if you're drunk from the bars and want something sweet. Ice cream scoop size is the size of your spoon. Three scoops is not even a full cup. read more

I was bummed that I only got to try one, so I decided to look them up and ordered my own. Insomnia has lots of flavors to choose from, and the stores are open late. My favorite was the double chocolate. They also have limited flavors that rotate monthly. This place is so good you won't lose sleep over ditching that other place, and that's the way the cookie crumbl-es. read more

I've heard many things about insomnia and decided to stop in Wednesday afternoon after an onset for sweet came on. Service is good and the cookies are warm. I tried the 6 cookie box that averages a little less than $2.00/ cookie. Cookies are okay. Definitely not the best I've had. They lack flavor and as popular as they are you would have thought God himself was creating the cookies, but alas they are mediocre. Something to try, but not something I would crave. Overall experience was okay but there is definitely better cookies downtown. read more

Ummmm. Come to downtown Orlando and get some cookies. Sometimes when I'm downtown I just need a delicious distraction and there it is, some warm cookies! I love the peanut butter cup cookies and a side of ice cream. This location is small but seems to stay busy. You can get your cookies in the store or have them delivered. Definitely get you some insomnia cookies. We went here at midnight after a long day at Universal Studios & eating on the CityWalk. The place we ate at didn't have much of a selection for dessert & we wanted to satisfy our sweet tooth, so I'm glad I ran into this find on Yelp. It is located downtown, so parking is mostly street parking. We were lucky to be able to park right in front when we arrived. It is small inside, so I believe with the pandemic, they're only allowing 3 people or so at a time. Right as you walk in, you can just smell all of the sweetness! The portions are huge, so unless you're a huge sweet freak, sharing is an option. I forgot what they called it, but we got 2 freshly baked cookies (different kinds) then got ice cream in the middle, topped with cookie dough. Come here if you definitely want to satisfy your sweet tooth. read more

Went there yesterday and asked an opinion on favorite cookie and the worker said "do you want us to just pick your whole order?" With a rude tone. I went to the location near UCF in the center with Burgerfi, Island Wings and many other food service places. The young lady working around 6:30-7pm was horrible. Her customer service was probably the worst service I have ever received. I did my best to try to stay calm and not react however I watched her be nasty to 2 other guests and a door dasher. I truly hope the owner sees this review and go back and look at the video footage so that he/she can see exactly who they have representing their company. I am an extremely busy person who doesn't have time to go on websites and write reviews however I am spending my evening writing a review on every site I can think of because she was so nasty. So excited that I work WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE of this location. Being the first Insomnia Cookies I tried in Florida, it holds a special place in my heart. Also, being one of the bigger locations, and located right across from UCF, you'd expect it to be a LOT busier than it is, but there has never been more than 3 people inside at any time. I love Insomnia Cookies, I was thrilled to find one right down the street from where I'm staying in Orlando. Everywhere I've lived before I have always been outside the delivery radius -- this is something disappointing when its 2am and all you want are hot and fresh cookies after being out all night :) I ordered a ten-pack and a pint of ice cream and they were all just as delicious as I remember. Get the chocolate peanut butter cup, you won't be disappointed! They even threw in a sample of their new cookie, I don't remember the name, Space Junk maybe? But that one was delicious, too! read more

I had heard a lot about insomnia cookies from my friends that are foodies and thought we would give it a try. We went to the downtown location and we're a little disappointed. It's a tiny little shop and although the cookies were warm and soft, it wasn't much different than anything you could get it any other cookie place or from making cookies at home. their claim to fame is the fact that you can get soft warm cookies delivered to your door up to 3 in the morning. I was hoping for a nice chocolate milk to go with my cookie butt more than half of their milk display was empty. The staff member was nice and the restroom was clean, but I probably wouldn't be back unless I needed soft warm cookies delivered to my door. Unfortunately I live outside of the delivery area. we tried the mint chocolate chip, the peanut butter, the double chocolate chunk, and the chocolate chip as well as the sugar cookie. All we're good. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible read more

Woah, amazing warm fresh out of the oven cookies. I've had amazing cookies before and these are up there in quality. They have them ready made sitting in a heater. There is no other way to explain how they can serve so many hot cookies that quick. The cookie is Very soft, melting, and pricey. Its not a large cookie for the $2+ price tag. They do also sell milk and ice cream. Parking is a challenge in this part of town, but once you find it walk over to this place. Outside the high price it was worth every delicious bit. I had the White chocolate macadamia nuts and my boyfriend had the peanut butter. Mine was obviously better! read more
