This is my third venture into the lair of one of the many Night Owl Cookies locations. I was all set to try their s'mores cookie until I discovered that the photo online and the actual cookie are about as similar as a glamour shot and a mugshot. Apparently, they changed the design but forgot to notify the internet. Out of my three visits, this was the best one--though that's a low bar to clear. I got six cookies, and two of them were so bad that my entire family agreed they belonged in the trash. The Cookie Butter Cookie and Oreo Cheesecake were the culprits. The remaining four cookies were a mixed bag: the Sprinkles Cookie was the star of the show, the Sugar Cookie with red sugar was indistinguishable from a generic store-bought one, the Strawberry Donut was so forgettable that I had to check my notes to remember it, and the Brookie Cookie was decent but nothing to write home about.
