After we exchanged a couple emails, I felt, this is exactly what I am looking for, and scheduled an appointment with Ms. Sharon, the 'Ouidad' stylist. More HUGE THANK YOU's to Ms. Sharon, for listening to my concerns and for knowing exactly what I was looking for. Ms. Sharon is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and has an incredible skillset. My hair grows quickly. My last hair cut was shy of 4 years ago, and it was to my collar bone. Since then it grew down to my 'bootie'. Why did I wait so long? Well, to be honest, I had a hard time finding someone I was truly comfortable with that has the knowledge and skillset. Ms. Sharon was worth the wait. I looked in the mirror, and saw the 'ol me', and I couldn't help but get choked up with happy tears. THANK YOU, MS SHARON for being so wonderful. The Salon itself is very bright, cheerful and clean with lots of various services to choose from. Also, I am excited to be donating my hair to, 'Children with Hair Loss'. During the entire session, the massage therapist repeatedly pulled and twisted my wife's shoulder in a way that caused significant pain and discomfort. We have both had many professional massages over the years and have never experienced anything like this. What's most concerning is that more than a month later, her shoulder is still causing her significant pain. The issue has become serious enough that she is now undergoing an MRI because she believes something may have been injured during the session. While we cannot say with certainty what the MRI will show, the timing and circumstances are extremely concerning. Based on our experience, I would urge others to exercise caution and make sure they communicate clearly with the therapist if anything feels uncomfortable or painful during treatment.
