He is helpful for advising on future home renovation options and knowledgeable about every part of the process! Supervision is still a joke and the owner never replies an email. Time consuming with this company, cero results. January 2018: Houses are overpriced for the quality you receive. Luxury houses???......OMG.. If you ever buy a house from them, do not ever think about upgrades. They will charge you way more than any other contractor in the market and work will not be properly done. I suggest you save your money and let a professional company to do the upgrades for you. This company might be good with their basic standards but is not capable to provide good results out of that. Everything that they have done wrong was a discussion and the good experience of buying a new house became a frustrating really bad experience; by the end the only thing I wanted was to finish dealing with them. Wasted my time in several opportunities to obtain zero results. Read very carefully the house specification and details. Ask for clarification on walls/ ceiling texture; they do not specify this on their specs giving them room to do whatever is easy or cheap. Luxury houses do not require a buyer to look after every single detail, but if you are buying a house from them be ready to do it. I may have different standards but what they are selling as a luxury house is not. Warranty after closing is terrible, it will take weeks for them to fix even small things and when they finally come to fix something they will come without supervision and in most of the cases will damage something else. For example: all my granite countertops were not properly finished, pits all over the place and water will mark them. Still waiting for repairs. All moulding and base boards unions cracked after a month from closing, still waiting on them to get back to me. I have 8 light switches that do not have any function, they left them this way after the upgrading I paid for my ceiling fans because it is normal for them (I was told by the owner of the construction company). Now I playing with my dummies switches to see witch one works every time... great for a new house!!! I had Hot water in one of toilet deposit, thanks god they fix it but damaged the drywall while doing it. PS: If possible work with a realtor that do not normally work with this company. Do not trust realtors that work often with this company; they may play their game.

I ended up paying over $400 and all I received was leaf blown, and some cleanup. The workers came and didn't finish; I had to call them back to complete some of the bare minimum work. The owner was nice when he came to provide the quote, and back to finish incomplete work, but other than his hospitality I am still unsatisfied with the services. I ultimately had to find a different lawn care company to get the care I wanted.

Gold Rose also has an irrigation service, one I had not used before. I needed some help in getting ready for the freeze in Houston (2/2021) and on Saturday (a day before the freeze) Daniel quickly returned my call and was at my house in less than 30 minutes to drain my sprinklers and clean out the water meter valve box so I could shut the water off to my house to prevent frozen pipe damage. You just don't get this kind of customer service very often these days... HIGHLY recommended.

So I opened the ceiling and thought I found the problem. Peter came around, and thought I was right. Then pulled the toilet off, and told me I was wrong. Then after some time, he then proved himself wrong and found the real culprit. Kathy, the operator figured I need a critical thinker to figure this out and she was right. Amazing team, and I will be calling and recommending them to others every chance I get.

I ran into an issue with a stuck gate valve that required shutting down the supply line to the…read morebuilding with 34 units in it. I went through another company initially to diagnose the issue which was 100% correct that the valve was fouled. Well, the HOA / PM Co. stopped us from working on the issue further due to needing to cut the supply off to the building to perform the repair on a Saturday. The PM Co. contacted S&K after the extended period of time I had been without water and the owner of the co. showed up who had initially plumbed the building during construction back in 2004 showed up with one of his guys to assess the issue and promptly restored service to my unit. At this point I had been w/o water service since Friday @ 10pm and the new valve was in place by Monday @ 6pm. I had to wait for the PVC Cement to cure but, the next morning was able to open the valve slowly to purge the air from the lines and then any residual that may have been in the lines from the replacement. Since the replacement it seems like there's better water flow from the taps as well which leads me to think that the gate valve was compromised and not 100% open before the issue occurred. If you're in a mid-rise or higher these are the right people to call. They may not have the flashy web page or quote on Yelp but, you're in great hands and need help with your water issues. **I had a couple of other minor things going on and asked about them and got advice on how to correct them on my own or outsource to another to resolve. I managed to fix and diagnose the other items to resolution with their advice outside of the initial call reason.
