Eric promptly showed up at the scheduled time and was very thorough in explaining everything he'd be looking at and was also very thorough in explaining the major points that needed immediate attention after the inspection was completed. The whole process took about 2 - 2.5 hours and after the inspection, he sent me the report with pictures the same day a few hours later. We hired CES for our one year home warranty inspection and I was shocked by the number of issues they found! Armed with their report and a lot of determination, we were able to get our builder to make repairs and improvements that would have cost us $30K+ to handle on our own (no exaggeration). They were both personable and as I was eager to learn a lot about what to look for in a home, were great at explaining what they were doing and what they saw positive and negative with the house. Called on Thursday, 10/1 before we were even in our option period to see when they could get out to us. They'll reply within 24 hours, they say. So, no problem! We never heard back from them. On Monday, 10/5, we finally called them again, and, of course, they can't get out to us until our option period is over. So maybe these people are sooooo greeeeeeat ooh la la if they actually call you back. But if they don't, well then you're me. Eric was recommended by another reputed inspector for a frame inspection and he was very helpful in pointing out the defects, explaining them and producing a detailed report the same night. The report was well-organized and cited the relevant IRC code with diagrams.
