Delivery was scheduled, the time window for delivery came and went, and we never heard a thing from the delivery guy, so we left for our dinner plans. He called 30 min late. We know that stuff happens, but there was never a heads up earlier in the afternoon that he was running behind, and no apology on his part for not being in contact, and THEN when I told home we weren't home anymore he said "well what do you want me to do with your rug?" Rude and incredibly unhelpful in a situation that he created. BUT WAIT! Once our rug was delivered (by a different person the following morning), we noticed it had a strong fragrance-y smell. The rug was incredibly stiff when we got it back and when we vacuumed it lots of powder came up, perhaps a scented deodorizer?? There shouldn't have been residue left!! We chose Zerorez specifically because we were assured fragrance and chemicals were not used, yet our rug came back smelling like it had been dipped in some horribly fake floral scent. I contacted the guy who I had been in touch with, he said he'd get in touch with the rug manager, and that was a week ago. The smell has slowly dissipated but it's still there, and we just give up. Ironically, we've swayed friends and family from using Zerorez as they were all waiting to hear how our experience went before having carpets and rugs cleaned. We absolutely wouldn't return the rug to have it cleaned again, as we don't trust that it wouldn't arrive back to us smelling like fake dollar store perfume and baby powder. The customer service overall was crap, and the cleaning service was crap. Totally a bust. Our rug was so much better when it was dirty!

The quote was for $388 which I considered a deal having previously received a quote of $900. The manager Dae was very polite and easy to work with, however the cleaning job was horrible. Very basics like cleaning the floors (all tile), wiping out all cabinets in the kitchen, cleaning interior windows, baseboards, fans and bathrooms were all in the contract, yet were not cleaned at all (hair and food particles left in kitchen, filthy floors, untouched toilets, etc. The entire rec room in the basement was untouched as well. I took many photos and Dae sent a second cleaner over and the condo was still quite dirty. This required yet a third visit, and finally the condo was clean, but still required an additional service for another 4 hours of cleaning. Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND!! They do not do what they contract, much less anything else.

**Unresolved damage and lack of follow-through**…read more We engaged Nice & Fresh Cleaners for a routine home cleaning in March 2026. Immediately following the service, we identified damage to multiple pieces of furniture across several rooms. We documented the condition promptly and notified the company. The owner, Bowie van Ling, conducted an in-person inspection on March 16. During that visit and in subsequent communications, we requested that the matter be addressed through the company's stated liability insurance coverage, consistent with representations on its website. Despite multiple follow-ups, we have not been provided with a certificate of insurance or a clear path to pursue a claim. Additionally, we received an invoice for the March 11 service weeks later that was marked "past due" with a due date that had already passed prior to issuance, raising concerns about billing practices. We made repeated good-faith efforts to resolve this matter directly. As of today, it remains unresolved. While the company represents that it is bonded and insured and takes accountability seriously, our experience did not reflect those assurances. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend this company. We have also submitted a complaint to the North Carolina Attorney General after attempts to resolve this directly were unsuccessful.
