I have never been this disgusted with an establishment like I have been with this one. They were nice when we first came in. I had my elderly mother with me. They told us that there was a wait which was fine. The one technician started working on my nails (soaking them off) and working on my mother's nails. All of a sudden, someone came and moved me away from my mother's to the total opposite side of the building. My mother can't hear and has memory issues. I wanted designs on my nails. I was told that nobody could do designs. I had to settle for not getting them for the first day of school. The lady that did my nails kept pulling and pushing my arms while she was doing my nails. I mentioned to her about changing the polish on my toes, she got upset with me. She said that I should have told her earlier and it was too late. She kept saying that to the point that I told her not to do it if she didn't want to. I sat in the pedicure chair and she kept trying to get me to pay more. She was supposed to get the nail polish that matched my fingernails. Half way through the pushing and pulling she realized that it was the wrong color. I just went with it because I was there for so long. She hit my toenail and messed it up. Instead of acknowledging what she did, she blamed it on me. All of the other customers had the arm of the chair put down for them and the massager turned on. My legs were shaking and she just kept pulling and pushing on me. She kept telling me that I bias messing everything up. My mom was confused. I kept telling the lady that I had to help my mom. Everyone around me heard me say it. She wouldn't let me get up to take care of her. They reuse the gloves when they do a customers nails. All they do is turn the gloves inside out. That is a major health code violation! I think the only time I had an unbeatable experience was my first time here for a PEDICURE with NANCY. The last REVIEW I wrote was about my experience with TOM. I think he's a great person, super sweet, but to be real? My acrylics broke within the first few days. Not just one, not just two, but three. I had to go in 2 separate times to get a fix and the second time I went in, I had to pay $55? For a new fill because it reached that time. Definitely wasn't happy about having to pay that much for a fill given I didn't even have a nice set of nails for even a week straight because of the breaking but whatever I moved past it. LETTY did my fill. She did good. Paint job wasn't the best but again, not going to complain. Not even a week out, A NAIL BROKE! I hate having long acrylics with one broken, it just looks stupid. I didn't pay $55 for a regular polish acrylic FILL for it to break that easy!!! I'm busy. I've got a schedule, I can't come in whenever I want. I've had this broken nail for about 5 days now and finally found some time to come in just to fix a singular nail but wasn't able to, she said come back in a little, I said O.K. I go back and once again, not able to do it. I live 22minutes away. Now you want me to come back at 3pm? It's a weekday. I work?? She didn't seem like she even wanted to assist me so honestly I'm really disappointed. I promise I'm a good customer and I'm a loyal customer. No and no. I tried to give this place a 2nd chance because they gave me a coupon for 20% off and my mom wanted to get her nails done. Arrived at our appointment right on time and the technicians were ready to take us right away. My mom's so undecisive on colors so she took a little longer, but I picked out a pink-ish nude color. My pedicure was pretty decent. She massaged my legs and feet for a long time and it was much needed! However, fast forward approximately 2 weeks and my toes are ruined. See photo. I'm not sure what happened, as I barely left my house within the 2 weeks and honestly pedicures last me at most 2 months without chips or smudges. My mom got tips and regular nail polish. Again 2 weeks later and the nails are already growing and it looks a bit tacky. Her technician didn't even give her a hand massage at all! I wanted to give this place another shot, but I'm never coming back here again. I rather drive 30 minutes and go to a salon that actually cares and does a decent job at painting nails. I had an appointment with Tom that I booked two weeks in advance. When I arrived, I was told he was running late and was asked to do my pedicure with someone else. I understood and agreed. The pedicure was decent, and the technician did the regular service I usually pay $35 for. However, when Tom returned, he said he had another client for acrylics and asked me to switch to another person for my manicure. This second technician did a poor job communicating--she kept pushing my hand under the UV light after painting just one nail without explaining what she was doing. She also cut my cuticle, causing bleeding, and never apologized. She simply continued working as if nothing happened. At checkout, I was surprised to see an extra $8 charge for callus removal, which was never mentioned beforehand. On top of that, Tom sat nearby and didn't step in to address any of these issues. The overall experience felt very unprofessional. The staff also spoke in their own language among themselves while I had questions, which came across as disrespectful. When I left, no one acknowledged me or thanked me. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. I hope the salon learns to treat customers with more professionalism and transparency. read more

Inspire Nail Bar is newly opened and is truly beautiful inside. They have TONS of polish colors, including gel, dip/powder, and standard. With that said, they have some severe growing pains they need to overcome before Inspire becomes a real contender in Olney. As one of the only nail places opened on a Sunday, I made appointments for a friend and me to get pedicures this past weekend. When we arrived, we were seated promptly, and my services started on time. My friend and I both requested the "Champagne Cocktail (55 mins)." Unfortunately, we had to wait for nearly 40 minutes for another tech to be ready to start my friend's pedicure. That is when we realized I did NOT get the Champagne Cocktail, but the "Mimosa (40 mins)." All of the pedicure services have a cute "cocktail" name, but it's meaningless when those names confuse the technicians. The technician did a good job--neither the best nor worst pedicure I've received in my life. However, I was highly frustrated because not only did I NOT get the service I initially asked for, but our intention in making appointments was to have our services simultaneously, not one followed by the other. By the time they started on my friend's toes, my service was nearly complete, and, not wanting to ditch my friend, I had to sit there for another 45 minutes while she got her pedicure. During my friend's pedicure, I got my eyebrows waxed and added a gel polish removal for my fingernails. I will say she did an excellent job on my eyebrows. Typically, I soak my gel polish off at home and peel anything leftover. Unfortunately, this method occasionally causes a little bit of damage. Instead, by having it performed at a salon, I thought they would have mastered a gel polish removal technique that would eliminate the damage to my nail beds. The tech ground the topcoat down, then soaked my fingernails in acetone, followed by another grinding in which she removed the remainder of the polish and several layers of my actual nail. I could not have been more wrong about limiting the damage to my nails; the technician destroyed my fingernails to the point of causing severe sensitivity with any amount of pressure on my nails. On top of it all, she charged me $10 when the website clearly states, "Take-off Gel_____$8." Although the salon itself is beautiful and the techs seem friendly, I have no intention of ever returning to this salon. read more

Just an update as I've now been a regular here since they opened-- my only hesitation in writing this is not wanting them to become so busy that it's hard for me to get an appointment but truly-- this is a top tier nail salon. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, they have a wide selection of drinks they offer you during your service. They do an Amazon job making dip powder nails look not chunky but just natural and truly even on my super fragile nails everything lasts and looks perfect!! The only reason I go back after 3 weeks is because they've grown out. I've done gel manicures, dip powder manicures, and pedicures and am in there every 2-3 weeks and I've yet to have a single experience that I didn't absolutely love love love !! Letty and Hailey usually take care of me and they're both beyond superb at what they do, honestly you can't go wrong with any of the techs who work there. read more

I really had a great experience and wish I could this place a 5 stars but I can't for one reason. I initially wanted to try this place because it looked new-ish and also because there was a promotion going on. When I tried to redeem it once I got my services done, the nail tech said it only counts if you got a text. This didn't make sense at all because nowhere on the promotion that was posted on social media said you needed a text. I loved the nail tech I worked with and the one who worked with my friend. The place was super clean, loved the decor, loved the fact that they offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, they have a points system and they had a nice Venmo book for us to tip our techs. Nail tech was rude when I came in to get my nails done on my birthday. Price of my nails continued to go up from $50-$75 during my appointment without explanation. He then proceeded to tell me that "a normal nail tech wouldn't explain the prices like I am for you today". The tech made a comment about speaking English and it made me very uncomfortable "do you ask me the price questions because I speak English?" I do not recommend this place if you live in Olney. Ten Star Review for Inspire Nail Bar and I see Hugh. 1) I watched them clean at the end of the day, and they sterilized the pedicure chairs from top to bottom - it was really reassuring. 2) Hugh always gives me recommendations on issues related just to me and clearly cares about my nail health. I really appreciate that. 3) I just had the Signature Herbal Spa and the green tea sugar scrub/green tea in the soak and the hot stone massage was out of this world. Pricey but TOTALLY worth it!!! Worst experience ever. I went today for a full set and a pedicure. I waited 10 minutes past my appointment time for them to start. Everything was going well until the nail tech put too much nail polish on my nails and it began to bubble after being in the dryer. I mentioned that it did not look good and asked for the nail polish to be replaced. INSTEAD, he gets an attitude, yells at me and cuts off the new set I just sat for an hour and a half to get. Someone lied about being the manager and kept talking over me when I tried to explain what happened. The tech LIED and said that I told him to take off the nails when i ONLY asked for the nail POLISH to be replaced. He refused to give me his name and they said the manager is never in so I will never be able to speak to him/her (Aaron/Erin?) Hello ! I have been going to Inspire nail bar since it's opened. My experience was good until today. I came for the refill and to fix my nails as my thumb nails broke writhing 10 days of the service. I dint have time to do all the fingers so I requested them to fix my thum nails. This new guy named CODY who was appointed to fix my nails looked mad and annoyed to have me as customer. He wanted to do all my fingers but I didn't have time. I kept telling him that I will come back in 5-6 days as other nails were fine. He kept murmuring and saying things. I simple asked him why is he so mad with me ? He literally dropped my hands from his and asked me to get up and wait for another person as he isnt willing to do my nails. The person who did my nails before was busy with another customer and I had no other option than to wait. I am still waiting here for my nails to be fixed. Cant believe the way MR. CODY behaved with me. One fish spoils the pond. I always enjoyed coming here. In fact my daughter, my mom in law , my mom - we all came here. If they lose me , they lose 4 people. read more
