I came a little late for a pedicure and they still took me and worked after hours to finish my pedi. I really appreciated Cathy as she stayed to help me out and provided quialty service to me. She took her time and made sure the nails were perfect which really pleased me that she valued quality over quantity. I also want to mention how clean and comfortable this place is, the place as a whole is very new looking and spacious with pleasant decoration's and awesome massage chairs. I went in for classic manicure and gel nails, I was surprised to find that they only cut and filed my nails and put the gel color on. No scrub no massage and charged me $37. Since it was my first time there I didn't say anything. Later I found on their website classic manicure is described as : "Cuticle cut, trim and shape your nails, exfoliation with mineral salt with hand massage and polish." I have been coming here consistently since my previous review and my go to tech is Van. She is great, she really takes her time and I never leave unhappy with my nails. But the reason I wanted to update my review is to take some time and talk about these amazing pedicures! So, I had given up on going to get pedi's because every place I've been and friends i've discussed this with all agree that its not worth it. They always rush you out the chair to get your nails started... you never get to enjoy the chair. They don't scrub your feet well and so on. So I would just do my own feet. However, every time I would get my nails done here, I would observe how much time the techs spend working on the clients feet. I mean they are in here the whole time it takes for me to get a refill and gel polish set done. Consistently, every time without fail. So then I started to think, maybe they have techs who do pedi's and techs who do nails? I decided to book a pedi with my next refill and give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised that Van was going to do my pedi. So my theory was wrong. Let me tell you...They all do really great pedi's!!!! They take time with the pedi's, clean up your cuticles real good. Scrub your soles and give leg massage and hot towels with the basic pedi. You are there at least a good 30 min or more. I can't recall another place that gave as much effort in the pedi's as they do the nails. I'm so grateful I stumbled upon this place. These ladies deserve a lit of props! read more

Called before I came up to the nail shop to get a nail repair. Answered all the questions. Didn't want same design. Simply needed a nail repaired before it broke completely. Get to the salon and they're speaking about me on their native language. Then proceeds to tell me I didn't tell them what I needed done. They were also not busy but lady asked me could I come back and stated I didn't tell them what needed to be done. I simply needed my nail repaired. Wasn't worried about the same design none of that and stated it twice prior to coming up here. The customer service was non existent and they definitely made me feel un welcomed. First and foremost, Kathy is AMAZING & really, the only reason I come here. The other unkind woman who works here as a nail tech (apparently the only other tech that does fills aside from Kathy) is EXTREMELY RUDE. Ownership needs to keep her away from the front or the phone (12/28). She doesn't recommend an alternative appt. time if you call or walk in. She gives you zero options and is very rude about it. I think the employees here are incredibly nice for the most part, and they give one of the best pedicures (possibly the best of all time) I've ever received in my life. Their prices are also incredibly fair. However, I've started to realize that every time I've gotten gel nails here, they chip. I don't work with my hands, I don't type with my nails, I wear gloves while cooking and cleaning, I take good care of my nails. They use good quality nail polish, so I'm guessing their base gel polish is not good quality and/or is incompatible with the actual gel polish they use. I'm starting to feel frustrated because I genuinely like coming here, and I don't think this is due to their technique. But what's the point of good gel manicure pricing if the results don't last 2 weeks? Sometimes they don't even last a week for me. I've never had this problem anywhere else. I think I might have to start going elsewhere for my hands, but still continue to visit Allure for my pedicures. read more

Scheduled appointments for pedicures for myself and my daughter in addition to some other services. We showed up on time and despite specifically booking a kids pedicure for my 9-year-old and a hot stone pedicure for me. As soon as we taken back the upwelling started. She wouldn't even run the water until I agreed with her that the "hot stone is too quick and not relaxing. I can do a separate massage [$25 up-charge]". I told her repeatedly that I wanted what I selected when I booked the appointment. She then tried to upsell me on my child's pedicure. I corrected her again and said "please just give us the services we requested". She finally began running my water but before I could even put my feet in she started back up with upselling more massage services because she said that the hot stone wasn't worth it. I told her "okay, fine. Give me a regular spa pedicure and forget the hot stone all together" which was now $15 cheaper than what I had reserved. Oh no! Her plan was backfiring. She then kept talking about pedicures j had not asked for and I had enough. Told my daughter to put her shoes back on and we'll go elsewhere. We're now across the street at CoCo being serviced without feeling like I walked onto a used car lot. I've been to Allure plenty of times but I will never go back. read more

Today I went to Allure and had a wonderful experience! Kathy did a great job on my nails and was super nice the whole time. She was extremely thorough and did not rush which I appreciate! She was also honest when helping me pick a brand of polish that would last the longest. The price is right ($35 for a gel manicure) and salon is nice and clean. I walked in around 4:30 on a Saturday and they got me seated for a pedicure within 10 minutes. The mail tech was fantastic... I had really bad ingrown nails on both of my big toes and she took her time to help get them out and relieve the pain. What is the point of doing an appointment if they won't take you. I am very disappointed with this salon because I waited 12 minutes and then they told me to wait 30 more minutes because the person that was going to do my nails will be late. Ridiculous!!! Today I got a manicure and pedicure from here on a whim because I was in the area. Although I have nothing negative to say about the actual service since the person who did them was extremely nice and accommodating, it was the products they used or lack of. I get my nails done pretty often for 5 years now so I am some what familiar on what to expect, it all started at the beginning of my appointment when they had to wrap my nails, I always usually get dip or SNS so it's normal for them to have to file down and wrap my nails in acetone in order to soak off my old set. However, at this place they ended up really filing down my nails a lot which ended up causing a burning/stinging sensation on all my nail cause it got way too hot from the drill from all the filing they had to do, which I have never really experienced at any other nail shop I have been too. When it came down to wrap my nails it all made sense because they used the bare minimum of cotton and acetone to cover my nails which didn't make sense until we moved on to my pedicure. We then went over to start my pedicure, which I rarely get unless I really want to treat myself but I could not even enjoy it here. The water they first gave me was freezing cold and when I took my feet out and told them it was too cold, they tried to adjust it but it still felt like the same temperature. When prepping my toes, I think they put on a scrub for my legs but it seemed like it was sooooo diluted with water that there wasn't even any kind of exfoliation part of the scrub anymore, it just felt like cold water mixed with lotion at that point. At this point I just felt like there was no need to use any product because it already felt like they weren't using anything to begin with. The price of everything was also pretty much how much I have to pay at most salons so the fact that they were this stingy on products just left a bad impression in my eyes in my opinion or maybe they were also just having a bad night, I'm not sure. But I would just be a little cautious if you were interested in trying this place because the people here are incredibly nice and friendly, but if you wanted to come to get pampered then I don't think this is the place for you. read more

Update: Need to knock them down from 5 stars to 3 stars. I didn't know until the next day that they accidentally removed a chunk of my flesh from the sole of my foot. It most likely happened while they were removing the callus from my foot. I wrote the first review soon after leaving their place and did not feel the pain at first, so I gave them 5 stars based on my experience. They might've put numbing cream on it. I did feel a tinge of pain while they were giving me a pedicure, now that I think of it. I have to give them a 3 because of this. My pedicure looked pretty though. read more

She kept making comments about my nails being broke. To scrub the skin off the bottom of my feet was an extra $5. I thought that was apart of the pedicure. When she was wrapping my nails with acetone the whole time she telling me everything was extra $5. I'm like can we wait until we get to that part first, I do have money to pay you ma'am. My nails: the acrylic is thick. I wanted French tip with color she complained, I wanted round shape she complained. I was driving by this area and spontaneously decided to get my nails done. I saw the good reviews and thought I would give this place a try. The dip powder was an okay price but with tips it was an extra $5. I asked for a rounded shape and that was an additional $5. I thought was weird because usually square or rounded are not add ons. Then they said my cuticles looked bad so I paid another $5 to get them cut. I was just surprised at all the additional costs they surprised me with. I got a dip powder which was supposed to be a light pale pink. But this turned out to be a lot pinker. I got these nails done on March 13th. And it's been about two weeks and my nails are already coming off. As seen in the picture, there is a black dot on my nail which I didn't see until they were finished. The nail tech told me oh there is a black dot. But I wasn't able to get it out. Overall I would not come back to this place. There are much better nail salons in the area I would return to. read more

I came here 9/18 for an acrylic fill in and gel polish change. This was my first time coming to this nail salon. I really like the shape of my nails but just 2 days after I got my nails done I noticed the gel was chipping on my two thumbs and right index finger. I called them and they were able to repolish the 3 chipped nails. On 9/22 they fixed the original 3 chipped nails and on 9/25 I noticed more of the gel polish was chipping on my other nails. I'm basically able to peel off the gel. It's been one week and a day since they were done and I haven't experienced anything like this before. Gel polish usually can last me a good 3-4 weeks so this is really disappointing. I'm not rough on my hands either so their technique just must not be thorough enough. Nice people but won't be returning. read more

They do not do good work. Sloppy and just do not pay attention. The lady who did my pedicure was so rough and filed more of my toe than my nails. She was too busy carrying on independent conversations than paying attention to the customer. They mixed a cheaper product with SNS and my nails look like a four year old painted them. Waste of money, $80 wasted to be exact. Save your money and your time. Quality nail shops don't need gimmicks like this place. ***UPDATE: So two days after the pedicure my toes look like I didn't even have a pedicure. Flaking, cracks and nails that are not even polished all the way. Never again!!! read more

I went here with my girlfriend and felt a bit weird since it was my first experience at a nail salon. I had a technician, Nancy, who helped me feel welcomed and relaxed. We had the special pedicure done and it was surprisingly great (I recommend the lemongrass scrub). The overall experience was good -- from the clean salon to the dimmed atmosphere. Nancy's sense of humor and her good service, she made my ugly feet clean and now acceptable to show the world. I would come back here and recommend other guys to try it out! read more

I am new to the area but have visited this salon at least 4 times now and have had several technicians, all have done a good job. If your getting a manicure I highly recommend getting dip, it lasts forever. Gel, on the other hand, has barely lasted me a week and sometimes only a few days. I don't know if this is necessarily the technicians fault or the polish, but dip definitely lasts the longest. The one pedicure I got was great. I would recommend giving this place a chance, but make an appointment before coming because they are frequently busy even during the week days. read more

My pedicure was done by one lady and my nails by another. The lady who did my pedicure was sweet and took her time so tipping $10 wasn't too cringe. But my nails were rushed unclean and by far the worst nail service I received. For both services I paid $80 plus $10 tip, total being 90$. I will not be returning. read more
