What I also find truly impressive, is that Dr. Gaball will not do unnecessary procedures just to charge you, something I cannot say about many SD dentists. The medical and administrative staff at Inspire Smiles is also top notch - friendly, courteous and very professional. My family had several appointments already and everyone is supportive and amazing. I will just give one example of why you should visit Inspire Smiles. Many of us still get our teeth cleaned in the USA by scraping and using rotating polisher (like car detailing). However, in Europe, most dentists use a Swiss-made machine called AirFlow to do teeth cleaning in a most gentle manner. Look it up, it's a Rolls Royce of the teeth cleaning world. If you have your teeth cleaned using very gentle AirFlow technology, you will never want to have a scraping/rotating polisher cleaning again. We used to drive to LA to one of 3 dentists who had this machine, considering going to OC, where there is 1 dentist with it. When my wife was doing a dental check with Dr. Gaball, I saw not one, but 2 AirFlow machines in her office!!! Not even sure who else has even one in San Diego. Needless to say, my son booked his appointment and had the most amazing AirFlow cleaning experience within a few days. Hygienist is outstanding, btw. Even if you don't have cavities and don't need serious dental work, I would still highly recommend becoming a patient at Inspire Smiles just to experience modern hygiene!!! This summer I took my three daughters for cleanings, exams, etc. They range in ages from 8 to 13. The youngest one has always had an awful fear of dentists. First of all, as soon we stepped into the office we were greeted by an aroma of candles and essential oils, it seemed we came to a day spa. Next we were greeted by the most personable receptionist Linda, who made sure girls were comfortable and admitted quickly. Dr. Gaball appeared shortly after. She is like an angel, who has truly been blessed with the most gentle touch, love for her patients, and incredible desire to help everyone crossing the doorstep of her office. All three of my girls loved the experience. My youngest did great, not a peak from her. My middle daughter had been provided with a treatment plan. She had a couple of cavities but the worst one was her chipped front tooth. I was worried for the outcome, since this was her permanent tooth. Dr Gaball did an amazing job! She is a perfectionist and takes so much pride in her work, it's no wonder the results are so incredible. I felt I had been missing out on the fun and scheduled a cleaning and exam for myself. At my wife's recommendation (she was already a Dr. Gaball patient), I went in for a cleaning and assessment. First of all, the Doctor does the cleaning and uses a water device rather than jabbing, scraping, and poking. It was soooo much better. My teeth were still in decent shape but I need a couple follow-ups. I did both and had another cleaning. All of it was amazing. I had a teeth cleaning and evaluation from the dentist. It took about two hours to be completed. At the end of the evaluation I was the come back for a follow up, which was another couple hundred dollars. She proceeded to send a quote for future work which was in the neighborhood of $8000. I had just come from a six month cleaning in Denver where nothing was brought up of all of these issues or problems. I used yelp to select this practice where all of the reviews were 5 or 4's.
