Love this dental office! Love Dr. G. Love her staff! Love her perfectionism, her patience, hard work and determination. Love her eye for aesthetics. Love her kindness, honesty and genuine care for her clients. I switched to Dr. Gaball about one year ago after calling in several times to get in with our (now former) dentist (a popular dental office also in Solana Beach) and to be frank, I'm super happy the other practice couldn't fit me in, otherwise i wouldn't have found Dr Gaball. I literally just left her office 20 minutes ago and thought "yeah definitely time to leave them a yelp review." She just spent HOURS correcting our old dentist work careless work that was causing damage to my gums. I had gotten some bonding done at the other office to close a gap and the old dentist had put the bonding on crookedly (my two Front teeth leaned to the left after leaving the other doctors office), left a jagged ridge between my real tooth and the bonding so food can get trapped there and i eventually end up with cavities in my front teeth...yay AND i still had a gap between the teeth after i left. Awesome. 3 years later, dr Gaball to the rescue! I look like i got veneers! That's how awesome of a job she did! My teeth are all perfect and shiny! The bonding actually matches my teeth and I'm no longer self conscious about my smile...meaning I'll be smiling even MORE now! Hahaha If you're looking for the best dentist and the best dental office in Solana Beach..heck probably in all of north county San Diego, give Dr. Gaball's office a call. You will be more than glad you did. Ps. I'm the kind of person that only goes into the dentists office when a tooth is about to fall off. If you are like me , the last place you want to go to is the dentist. There have been some years I avoided it entirely , even with dental insurance . As I got got older I remembered a quote from someone saying" as you get older there two major thing to remember "to take care of Your teeth and your feet".Since I was in my late thirties at the time, I didn't give it much thought. However, to all of you out there who tend to avoid the dentist. Time moves on and before we know it, those cavities we had filled 20 years ago, have aged and are filled with metal and don't look so great when we look in the mirror and we realize people started having movie star smiles every where you went, I realized, I need to start taking care of my teeth. And I did. It is very hard to find a good dentist and Dr. Gaball, changed the way I think of my teeth as a part of being healthy. She and her office are so professional , yet so kind make me want to go to them as my overall health maintenance. Dr. Elona Gaball, her office manager Jyll, her husband Dr. Curtis, and the entire staff provide the whole package. Everything about their practice is perfectly clean and professional, warm and inviting at the same time. My kids love coming in because Jyll is so fun and sweet with them right when they walk in. She always has snacks, waters and toys waiting for them in the pristine and cozy waiting room. They feel right at home. I had my teeth cleaned by Chelsea yesterday, and it was hands down the most amazing, gentle cleaning of my life. Chelsea has a gift. I genuinely felt like a was having a spa day for my teeth. Kind of mind blowing. Dr. Elona has the best, most professional and warm bedside manner. She's also so kind and gentle, being in her chair is a pleasure. I go in regularly for Invisalign checkups, and it's always a treat. Her husband Dr. Curtis does great work also, with the same kind, gentle, professional demeanor, and I got a discount when I brought my friends in, who also loved the office and staff. Very fun. On Halloween the office staff had an open house with food and face-painting. We all had dinner with Dr. Gaball's family and staff and had fun getting ready for the night there. I met Dr. Gaball at Yoga and also recognized her from church. Of course I had to share with her my immediate dental concerns. She was very patient and attentive to listen to me and offered me sound advice saving me a root canal. Fast forward, I had a crown come off and she was able to accommodate me very quickly. When I arrived at her office, I was cheerfully greeted by name, asked how I was doing, and filled out my initial paper work. My wait was brief and I was greeted by her smiling assistant and whisked away to an exam room. I was made very comfortable, she looked at my crown and tooth and said the Doctor would be right in. Dr. Gaball is so sweet and friendly that right away I knew that my crown and I were in excellent hands. She prepped the crown and reset it. I was in and out in no time, without the usual stress often associated with past dental procedures. Just this week I went back for full X-rays, an oral exam and cleaning. Once again her staff were all very pleasant and I didn't have to wait. What surprised me was that after my X-rays, Dr. Gaball performed the oral exam and then did the cleaning herself! It was the most thorough cleaning I've ever experienced. I'm still running my tongue across my smooth clean teeth days later. I came to see Dr. Gaball at an extreme low point in my life. I was suffering from extreme jaw pain, neck pain, and ear pain, and had exhausted my options via primary care physician, ENT, and my general dentist. I had been told I was likely suffering from TMJ disorder, and I was experiencing referred pain which had resulted in headaches, ear pain/pressure, tinnitus, neck pain, facial numbness, and a host of other miserable symptoms. From the start, Dr. Gaball was incredibly welcoming and comforting. She gave me a thorough evaluation and we started treatment immediately. I was able to receive BOTOX injections in my jaw and temple the same day I came in for an evaluation. What followed was comprehensive treatment over the course of several months that drastically reduced my symptoms. What I would say makes Dr. Gaball so unique as a practitioner is that she recognizes the mind-body component of TMJ treatment. I could never run out of good things to say about Dr Gaball and her team! I found Dr Gaball when I first moved to San Diego. I was terrified of the dentist, but from my first cleaning, both her and her staff made me feel super comfortable. Now I look forward to my cleanings to see my progress! This past year, I decided to straighten my smile with Invisalign. I first brought this up with Dr Gaball and had ortho work in the past, but No matter what I did the gap in the front teeth would always come back! She immediately knew why and my Invisalign journey started with a very simple frenectomy procedure so that front gap could close! The invisalign treatment went really smooth, even with COVID-19 happening right towards the end of it. Dr. Gaball has a very clean, sterile office and I always felt safe there with her added caution. When I finished the final aligner, I still had a very very tiny gap towards the top that I wanted closed. Dr. Gaball worked her magic and used a bonding material to close that tiny gap! I'm not sure how she did it but it's perfect and I couldn't be happier with my new smile! I can't recommend Dr. Gaball enough, she's so gentle and patient. She only does what is necessary. The outsourcing of oral surgeries to third-party providers raises additional concerns about continuity of care and accountability. Furthermore, the existence of negative reviews, even from individuals within the dental profession, is a significant red flag. Do not be deceived by the gleaming exterior and false promises. This practice operates with a clear disregard for patient welfare, choosing instead to exploit vulnerable individuals for financial gain. Avoid Inspire Smiles at all costs. I started seeing Dr. Gabel about 4 years ago. She is my favorite dentist. I have four dental cleaning appointments a year. I move often because we are a military family and I'm sad to be leaving her for awhile. Speaking of military, her husband is a military service member, and I love supporting other military families. The staff is wonderful. I have gotten to know many of them and they are professional, kind and do great work. Gentle and yet effective. I have been to several dentists, as stated, but I honestly appreciate that Dr. Gabel can give me advise and concern without overselling me on anything. Her recommendations are honest and I trust her. My previous dentist gave me a "recommendation" that meant I would have to spend around $4,000 to correct some wear on my teeth due to grinding. I was so suspicious of that because I couldn't trust whether the advise was benefit himself, or me. So I got a second opinion... and then a third from another dentist and an oral surgeon and they confirmed my suspicions that my dentist was recommending a process that was completely unnecessary. It's been a while since I truly felt comfortable in the chair and had no fears! The new hygienist Madison made my experience very very worth it! From explaining each detail of what is to be expected answered all my concerns made me feel like I was valued. The high quality of guided biofilm therapy is so gentle and is much softer on your teeth. All the natural products they use It's not very common to have in a practice to have that type of procedure and services. Dr. Gaball is one of the best professionals I have seen in a long time. I've been to many, and I have never witness a professional with so much love and care for her patients. The care she possesses for her patients is extraordinary and she even provides a personal # for outreach in case there is a question, issue, or emergency. My wife and I visited Dr. Gabal in March of 2021. Our first interactions were very positive and it just kept getting better. Her whole office is filled with people who care about you and show a genuine interest in your welfare. Chelsea, Monya, Beth and Theresa all helped us along with Dr. Elona Gabel. Each person showed their expertise and sensitivity in their personal care. The outcome has been excellent after receiving four new gold crowns and having some other work done. After years of neglect I feel like my dental needs have been taken care for what I hope will be a good long time. They're so warm, caring, and genuinely feel like friends the second you walk in. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Elona Gaball for all of your dental work. I recently had some bridgework completed on the six front teeth of my upper jaw. I had sustained a baseball accident while pitching in college, taking a line drive to my lower jaw back in 1974. And while I have had bridgework done on my lower jaw, the teeth on my upper jaw were also traumatized and thus weakened over time. Finally, one of my front teeth broke in half while I was eating an almond. Dr. Gaball shared with me my options and informed me through x-rays that the other teeth surrounding my broken tooth could also be broken at any time.
