Joe at Inspired Floors was a fantastic helper in our flooring journey. We had some gross carpet to replace and couldn't decide on the different LVP, engineered wood or tile options. I tried multiple flooring stores out in Missouri City (they are on like every block!) and ultimately decided to go with Inspired Floors. We were only replacing about 280 sq feet of flooring so one store told me that job was too small for them. One independent tile guy told me he would only warranty the flooring for a year. We discussed the option of doing it ourselves and decided to go with Joe and his team. Joe must have seen my face 8 times in one week as I would bring samples back and pick up new samples. He was always patient, never tried to hassle or upsell me, and was 100% honest about the industry. He never texted me annoying sales messages and he never deceived me about price or inventory. We ultimately decided on a wood grain tile and the installers came on a Wednesday morning, moved all our furniture, put down the new flooring, and moved everything back in Thursday evening. The installation team was incredibly helpful and kind. I am so pleased with my experience with Joe and his team at Inspired Floors. Guys who I stalled carpets are rude and made our existing carpet on other side of home dirty and don't care to clean after they are done.

I needed to get carpets installed pretty quickly. They were able to get me a quote for carpets installed that was pretty comparable to a few other places like Home Depot, but these guys were way faster. Joe and his team are amazing at what they do! My wife and I had our water heater valve colapse causeing damage to our existing carpet (it had to be torn out to dry the area). Our first interaction walking into the store was pleasant as we called ahead and spoke to Titus . He was quick in answering any questions we threw at him and pacient in explaining everything. After making a selection a day later (we took samples home to match) he coordinated a plan to get us taken care of in a tight timeline. Tony is as good as it gets. I did a big renovation and needed 4000 sq ft of flooring. Before finding Inspired floors I must've visited 7 different flooring stores and talked to even more over the phone. Almost all of these other places were impatient, rude, and unwilling to help out. Great job, Inspired Floors! We were looking for a company that could do a top-notch job in replacing our kitchen countertops with an exotic color granite, and we found this place. We worked with Titus. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and proactive from start to finish. He even helped us arrange a plumber to come by and disconnected/reconnected our gas cooktop for before/after installation. His pricing was also competitive. We purchased laminate for our upstairs bedroom, and also hired this business to install the laminate. This is a room that wasn't occupied. We recently noticed there is a soft spot when walking on the laminate upon entering the room. I went to the store in person to report the soft spot. I entered the store and I was the only customer present in the presence of two employees. The employees didn't acknowledge me until about after one to two minutes. I was bewildered at that point. I recognized one of the guys who was our salesman. The other guy finally offered to assist me. After hearing my last name the salesman who initially took our order said he remembered me. When I explained the soft spot issue his first response was "that was months ago." It was actually October 2020 and this day was Match 24, 2021. I have a one year warranty. He then basically informed me that the soft spot was [my problem] because it was under the laminate. This is not my expertise but I would have thought a professional and ethical contractor would have assessed the floor area prior to laying the laminate to ensure there would not be a soft spot prior to laying the laminate, if indeed this is the reason for the soft spot. This company demonstrated no regard for the issue or customer, and blatantly seems to perform subpar. I would definitely NOT recommend this business to anyone. read more

Inspired Floors did an awesome job! My wife and I had the best experience with Joe (sales manager) and our installer Pete. We just moved to the area and they were highly recommend by co-workers (including my new boss) so I had to use them. Lol. I just had our living room, dining room and master bedroom redone. We used a hand-scraped hardwood flooring and it is beautiful. Joe helped us pick out a floor within our budget, and even had sample boards for us to take home to choose the right color. He also made valuable suggestions which only enhanced the finished look. Our home is 10 years old and we had a problem with one side of our living room floor. Walked in on a Friday to just look at floors, Abe helped us for as long as we needed to pull samples and explain companies and types of wood (they have a lot of samples so it was a bit overwhelming), sent us home with as many samples as we wanted, met us at our home the next evening with CLEAR and CONCISE prices, signed on the dotted line and installation of our American Hickory engineered dark wood floors began the next Thursday. The installers were kind, friendly, worked around my small children, moved more furniture and junk than planned, cleaned up after themselves each day and made sure the work area was acceptable for us to walk through as needed for the evening Abe also sent out a cleaning crew after we were all finished as part of the cost of tearing up our old wood floors to put down the new. Inspired Floors installed hardwood floors in my kitchen. The installers re-connected my washer n dryer, they did not connect the water holes correctly on my washer. The water overflow damaged the floor and the floor needed to be replaced. I contacted Inspire Floors and they immediately sent the installers to repair the floor. They tore up the floor in the landry room and left my washer n dryer and refrigertor in the middle of my kitchen and then they realized they did not have enough wood to complete the repair. They left and told me they would be back the next day. It has been over a week and they still have not returned to repair the landry room floor and the washer n dryer and refrigertor is still in the middle of my kitchen. I have spent over $60 at the washateria. I would not recommend Inspred Floors! read more

I was referred to Inspired floors by a colleague, my husband and I decided to check them out today. When we walked in the store the associate did not greet us, he was on the phone. We were the only customers in the store. The sales associate continued his telephone conversation, it's like we weren't even in the store. He could've said "hello I will be right with you" but he didn't. We stayed in the store for about 5mins or so, still no acknowledgement. He went up and beyond my expectations. Came on Monday and measured the home and started work by Wednesday and finished the job within 6 days as estimated. No excuses or delays which is the only way it should be! I was replacing the carpet on my stairs so not a big job. The person who took my order was the same guy who came to my house to do the measurement. I specifically asked him if he could fill the gaps between each step and the wall as my cat loves to poke her paws into the gaps. He assured me it would be easily done. When the installer came a week later, he refused to do it and asked for extra money. I called the store but the guy who answered the call wouldn't connect me to the original guy and wouldn't honor the promise. I ended up paying an extra $100 for the guy to stuff some cardboard pieces into the gaps. The point is, they will promise you anything to get the order then back away from doing it right. Don't just take their words. Put everything in writing no matter how trivial. read more

Their were just some hiccups when there were some delays in starting with my second floor but the floor technicians work diligently for hours to get the job done soon. If you are like me, I generally do not write reviews but rely more upon the reviews of others before I decide upon a service or a restaurant. However in this case, I thought I would take a leap and present my experience with this company in hope of helping others decide on a company amidst the swath of other flooring companies in the vicinity. First of all, if you live in the Sugarland/Missouri City area, you probably see about 4-7 flooring companies near or off of hwy 6. I needed new carpet for our upstairs bedrooms but had no idea where to start. So I like many of you went online to read reviews. What stood out to me immediately was the number of people who reviewed, Inspired Floors compared to other companies nearby. When people take the time to review a store, good or bad (thankfully this had more good than bad), it says something to me. At least this would be a reasonable place to start my search. I usually I visit/call 3-4 places before I settle on a service, especially for services I am do not know too much about. I also try to approach each company with a neutral attitude, trying not to be too biased upon what others have said but simply use reviews as a starting point. Restaurant reviews are something else :). My first impression walking into the store was that it was a clean store. It wasn't too overwhelmingly big with too many selections and not too small that would limit my options. The colors and interior though lined with flooring samples, had a "clean" feel to it. If you care about your customers, you care about first impressions. Anyhow, Joe came out to greet me and was warmly willing to answer questions that I had. I didn't know where to start other than knowing generally what type of design of carpet I wanted so I asked him to give me a layman's breakdown on carpeting. Like most salesmen do, I got the carpet basics pitch, but what I liked was that it was simple. The explanation of the different types of carpet and what to look for in a carpet was clear, simple and though it was a "pitch" it was didn't sound impersonal. The other "simple" thing was the pricing. Unlike a number of other stores that I ended up visiting later in the day, which included installation pricing, different pricing for pads and other miscellaneous services, I was given one price per sqft. Options are great but I personally liked the simplicity of the pricing. That way when you work with the final cost, we aren't bargaining tit for tat but on the final sqft price. Also I knew I wouldn't be broadsided with other fees when we came up with the total. There was a good selection of carpets but as mentioned before it wasn't an overwhelming number of selections full of "filler" carpet to choose from. The colors, design and quality of the carpet were chosen well for display. Being the more picky one in the family, I was surprised to find not 1 or 2 but 4 similar designs and carpet that I was happy with. I borrowed the samples and headed out to the next store for comparison. The review is long enough already but just to say that after visiting 3 other stores, the points that I laid out about, Inspired Floors helped me and my wife make our final decision. My wife couldn't make it out so I discussed the stores I visited and options with my wife the same evening, and we were both happy to go with Inspired Floors the next day after taking an evening to sleep on it. This was one of the most easy decisions/transactions I have done with my wife. No arguments, no shouting or talk about divorce after. Then again, maybe my wife is just awesome! Needless to say, the installation was quick and easy the following week. Valentino was our installer and was courteous and worked swiftly with another gentleman to complete the work. They got started on my floors as soon as I needed them. Even when i didnt like the option of tile I chose for myself for my master bath, the owner, Joe, was very helpful in letting me come back in to select another option. We wanted/needed some old, nasty carpet replaced with wood flooring before our furniture arrived. Of course, we also wanted the hardwood to match what already existed in other areas of the home, even though it had been there for several years.
