Fast, fair prices. Just bought some parts (no big projects like others here), but they were shipped same day when I was expecting a week.

During a recent kitchen remodel, I was looking for some LED lighting to install under the kitchen cabinets. I wasn't really impressed with anything I'd seen at stores like Lowe's or Home Depot. A few websites and online stores did offer LED solutions, but once you began to consider that you'd need to order power supplies, dimmers and other hardware, the concept of LED work surface lighting and under cabinet lighting became an expensive one. I then came across this company, Inspired LED. I saw some of their products listed on Amazon.com; Almost everything they sold had good reviews and high ratings from their customers, and a few reviewers also took note of this company's exceptional customer service. I went directly to this company's website and ordered a few sets of their warm white "Super Bright 21 LED Deluxe Kits". Each kit got me 3 10 inch LED strips, each with 21 warm white LEDs, all the mounting screws, connecting cables and cable organizing clips I'd need, plus the power supplies which were included. I also ordered a dimmer for each kit from this company's accessories page. I felt the price was fair for what I got, shipping and tax were included in the purchase price, and the merchandise I ordered arrived to me via USPS priority mail within 2 days. When I got the LEDs I'd ordered, I saw some other products in the enclosed literature that I didn't see on their website. I called the company, explained that I might prefer the fixtures I saw in the literature they sent, and the guy who answered said "No problem, send the LEDs you have back to us and we'll exchange them for what you want". In the end, after chatting with him and getting more details I decided to keep the ones I'd ordered, but it was great that they were immediately willing to exchange what I bought if I'd wanted to. While the LEDs this company sells aren't the brightest I've seen, and the "warm white" LEDs aren't the best version of warm white (they could do with a "color correcting" amber LED every several segments to make it look more like the color range you might get from a warm white incandescent lamp), these are more than adequate for my needs, the price was fair, and they should serve my needs for the next several years, as LEDs are expected to last for 50,000 hours or more at full intensity. read more

When you have an inspiration you need inspired people to help you interpret it into reality. I can tell you that when I came up with the idea to put 1" of light under the flagstone tops on our driveway lights it did not seem like that big a deal. Right! And now we know why I am not an electrician or an architect! The electrician had used electrical PVC pipe that was too small to add another wire, among other mistakes he made cutting costs on his bid. That meant that when I wanted to go to LED and I still needed to power the 120v side lights, I just did not have the wire. Then we needed four wires and I only had black, white and ground. More about that in a minute. Then I went to a well known electrical provider on Central and got bad advice and they would not call me back to tell me if parts had arrived or not. As it turned out that was a lucky thing because I found Inspired LED when I had enough of the other guys. First Inspired LED came up with a plan to meet my demands. Much better ideas than mine I might add. Next they figured out how to use three wires to meet a four or 6 wire wire problem. Now that was genius. It saved the project and was hundreds cheaper than the original idea. We had several false starts that took considerable time but it was because the original contractor had used traditional approaches to an issue he just did not understand. That meant Inspired LED had to be VERY creative, and they were. So if you have a simple problem or something really esoteric call these guys. They love to be part of your project. Look at the picture and realize that the side light and the top lights are on separate circuits so they can operated independently. And the top lights are variable from a remote actuator. So flash-back to 2013 and I bought a fixer-upper here in Austin. During the remodel I couldn't find any company locally that could (or would) do under cabinets LED's for my kitchen and toe-kick LED's for my bathrooms. Google helped me find Inspired LED in Tempe AZ of all places. They didn't just sell me led light strips, they really got into the detail of designing exactly what I wanted and also helped me avoid making a rookie dimmer mistake. Plus, they were almost too cheap price-wise. I was apprehensive, but lo and behold the lights arrived and my electrician installed them easily and they have worked great every day since. Fast forward to 2019 and one of the under cabinet strips stopped working. It could have been that one of us hit it with something, maybe the housekeeper cleaned it too aggressively, maybe it just failed. Who knows? But I contact Inspired LED and tell them I need to buy a new strip, but want to make sure it matches the other lights. They have me return the defective strip (which is now in two pieces due to my clumsy removal technique) and they will match it. A week later my old strip arrives fully repaired and with new stick'em tape applied and ready to install. Two minutes later it is working great and so then I look at the invoice...NO CHARGE! And after 6 years! That's good service for ya! Anyway, I doubt I'll ever be in Tempe, but locally or on the web, I'd recommend Inspired LED without hesitation. These guys rock! read more

So I sent a picture of my optical cabinet and Jim designed the perfect system. The service was fast, friendly, a good value, and it works just as I had hoped. I even placed an order for three more units. I also received an LED backlight kit for my tv. It took me 5 minutes, literally, to install and it looks cool and reduces eye strain when watching tv. This company sells great led wiring for kitchen under cabinets and their products are better than the ones at the big hardware stores. One thing that makes a company like this stand out is their attention to customer service. I installed their 3 led light set but one of the wires was too short so I contacted Inspired LED and they sent me out a longer wire. Now this is great service and the way a company should be run. After experiencing terrible customer service from another company I felt I should tell everyone to buy from this company. We decided to use Inspired LED for the under and over cabinet lighting in our kitchen renovation project. First we were overwhelmed trying to figure out which lights, what connectors and how to make it all happen. We decided to use their online live chat feature and were able to have a back-and-forth discussion with one of their employees. Not only was that employee helpful, they told us about the free design service they offer. We simply emailed our kitchen design plans and cabinet layout to them told them what we were looking for as far as lighting and they did the rest. They emailed us back a complete set of plans that included every type of light fixture, wire connector, switch and component necessary to light our kitchen. The package arrived in one day and had another set of instructions just in case we lost the plans they had emailed us. Within 30 minutes I had installed every light, made every connection and had our kitchen cabinets lit up beautifully. The only criticism I have is that their website doesn't completely explain the components and connectors you need with every option or configuration. You really need to interface with a human being to understand all of that. Finally, while I really like the under-cabinet dimmer switch, it feels a little cheap and doesn't function the way typical dimmer switch functions. It's a tiny dot of a button you have to push 1-4 times to get the desired power. It's a weird switch and should be designed better. read more
