Two staff members are to care for, bathe, feed, clean up after, and so on, 15 elderly who need a lot of support. The food is extremely unhealthy. No fresh vegetables and no fresh fruits. Most foods are greasy and overly salted. "Fruit" is canned and mixed in cool whip substance, and vegetables are from a can. Medical decisions are not in line with current medical protocols. If you place someone here, consider supplementing with a private assistant. Many of the reviews are culled as soon as someone places a person at the facility. Reviews are not offered after residents have been at the facility for a while. After my parent passed away, we did not receive a card or any kind of acknowledgement.

I live out of state and have a weekly call set up to FaceTime with my mom. I usually figure out that the staff has again left when I can't get through to my mom. I understand it to a degree, memory patients can be kleptomaniacs; however, when we write her name in permanent marker in all her pants, I'm not quite sure how all my mother's pants (clothes) disappear, not to be found. I noticed others also having the same problem when I was visiting. Where are their clothes going staff?!? Fortunately for our family, the Villas have continued to meet the standard we have set. Whenever I have had a concern or a question, no matter how trivial, they welcome the opportunity to dialog. The director, Dawn Grady, is a horrible human being who only cares about filling the place and residents are dying due to neglect. I regret sending my mother to Pacifica Bellair for the 8 months that she resided there, ending up with a huge hematoma that bled for two weeks. One of the residents, a little old lady that lived in the same cottage than my mother, was sent to the hospital with maggots in her legs and private parts. She died in the hospital. This place SHOULD BE CLOSED and Dawn Grady should not be working with our fragile loved ones.
