After a fun call to Apple, a new screen installed by their genius is in excess of $300 and a trip to the least fun bar in town. A quick scan of Yelp led to discovering Kyle at InstaKyle. On a Saturday morning, Kyle answered his phone and showed up at my house to repair my phone in less than an hour. And yes, he had consent to come over. He offered to meet at a local coffee house but it was easier to have him at the house. In less than an hour, on the kitchen counter, Kyle repaired my phone screen quickly and professionally. DO NOT USE! I got scammed. I brought my phone to Kyle as it was not functioning properly. He tried to fix it as was nice enough at that moment but said he needed to order a part. He told me he needed me to pay him up front because he didn't have the money to order it and would offer a full refund if the phone didn't work properly upon fixing. Poor judgement on my part to agree. I stopped by a couple days later to see if the part had been ordered and he was super unprofessional --screaming and making noise. I felt unsafe. He said he'd never ordered the part and would not refund my money (because he said he didn't have any money and his business was going under). Worst experience. I'm still trying to get my money back.
