Very rushed. The liner broke and I was to use the common bowl instead of starting over with a fresh liner. Not much attention to removing dead callous skin around toes. Hardly any alcohol to sanitize before paint applied. Asked to walk to the entrance barefoot to use the dryer. Not enough time to dry and left with smudged paint. Probably will not return. read more

I have been coming here for 5 years and unfortunately my last service for a fill will be the reason I won't return. This place has always been convenient, good prices and quick but the quality has gone down. I came in for a fill and the person that did my nails had them all different lengths, different shapes and didn't even care to fix or ask me about the length. I had to ask which is fine but the shapes were all different. I have spent thousands here but I will be going elsewhere. i'm really disappointed to be writing this review, i genuinely loved coming here and had 1 good set of nails done previously, i went back to get that same set filled-and less than a week later all of the gel peeled off. when the first nail lifted i went back to get it redone and the tech told me it was because I didn't put it under the light the right way?? a day after i got the one fixed all of them peeled off and i was ALARMED that now, a week later an entire nail broke off. i'm very sad and wished this wasn't the case. i can't speak much on the customer service either as the staff that works week days ate incredibly rude and make it an uncomfortable experience. read more

I've been going here for 3 years now, maybe longer. The owners use to be around more it seemed and not so much now and maybe that's where it's gone down? I had my favorite technician but she's gone on maternity leave and doesn't think she'll be coming back.. in May I went with my partner and they charged him $70 for a mani pedi combo($35) while he did select the deluxe pedi($+10 more than basic) they charged him up and separately rather than a $10 up charge. They didn't even do a clear coat or cut his nails- it was his first time so he didn't know what to expect and they def took advantage of that. I went in SEVEN days ago for my fill and left very unhappy. It was clear they were training the girl doing my nails, who had originally being doing the girl next to me until she requested someone else for numerous reasons. I left with new acrylic applied over dirty grow out lines. You can see the dirt. Just days later they began to lift and grow dirtier. read more

Went as a walk for a mani pedi. Pedicure consisted of soak, lotion and polish. While doing manicure I watched the tech pull out the instruments out of a small drawer by the tech seat. After she used them on me she put them back in the same drawer. Had to ask to have my hand nails recut because they were still there. After try to use my Apple Card to pay. They said an exact quote " we don't use those here". This is the only mode of payment I have. So with no choice I used my back card which there is no money. So for this reason I could only give a 5 dollar tip. After this no thank you no goodbye. Just the tech saying something and then laughing. I agree they take better care of their regulars. My friend and I had been to this nail salon once before, a couple months ago. The experience was okay, nothing stellar and nothing awful. About a week ago we made an appointment online for pedicures, we showed a little early and the place was packed full, like nowhere to sit full. Ten to 15 minutes after our appointment we were finally getting hot water in the pedi bowls. Three different women looked at my feet, one of them started with my friend, five to 10 minutes later I got some attention. I showed the technician the photo and asked if she could do it and she said she could. Exciting! My friend and I are talking talking talking, the tech working on my friend tells her to move to the chairs to dry her polish because the tech wants to clean the bowl. Ok. A bit later my tech disappears and another tech goes to grab my things and have me move. I told the second tech that the first one didn't finish and my nails are messy, the polish was on my skin. The 2nd tech loudly said something in another language then walks off to the back. She comes back and cleans the polish off my skin and moves me. They can do basic pedicures here, don't ask for anything extra, you'll be disappointed. The technicians are not exactly friendly. If you make an appointment, expect to wait as if you were a walk-in. We will find another nail place and not return. read more

This salon is my new go-to. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I've been 3 times now, with great results on my shellac manicure every time! Great customer service, color options and clean space. The only reason why I didn't give a full 5 stars is because making an appointment doesn't really make a difference, I schedule for 540 and wasn't seen until 6. I think I've finally found my nail salon. I called to see if there was a wait, even though it was a Thursday morning, and no wait so off I went. The salon is bright, clean and very welcoming. Jenny met me and I liked her right off the bat. She did a beautiful manicure and red sparkly gel polish. She was friendly and we chatted quite a bit which I really liked. I do believe it was the quickest and best manicure I have ever had. Just went in to get a dip manicure. The lady was sitting there with her phone on speaker on hold with the bank. Besides that, my nails didn't turn out how they should. The whole service took 20 minutes. Totally rushed my service and not putting in effort to do my nails. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, she asks me to hold her phone and sit on hold with the bank?!? Who does that. Didn't honor credit and then when asked refused to remove the wrong color gel on finger nails. 6. My mother's pedicure took 20 min for $35 7. First time when asking who the lady working with that was yelling at my friend the workers scared to say her name and whispered. 10. Don't bother making an appointment they will take who ever is next and disregard appointment schedules as of new management. The previous owner was wonderful. She worked as a nurse at Peacehealth and at the salon on the weekends and had the best pedicures! However not knowing the business had changed owners and management my friend and I went before my sons wedding for a mani/pedi. September 1, 2022. They cut into my foot leaving me bleeding ( that made for wearing heels for the wedding great ), and after telling them to not cut short my large toes too short as I can get ingrown toenails well the lady did and gave me an ingrown toe nail and this is after waiting for almost 50 min. My sons wedding was in 2 days and I asked for a French tip gel manicure following a rushed pedicure and they put pink gel on. I did not have time for them to remove and fix as I had many other appointments that day following that I was then late to all. My friend with me told someone that had came in that she new about our bad experience as I was getting my "French manicure " that was pink nail polish not French tipped and the new manager "Ginny" verbally attacked her. I've never seen anything so unprofessional. The lady working on my nails couldn't understand what I wanted which was a light pink "tone" for the French tip and instead did a pink color in gel. After waiting for 50 min to have our pedicure I didn't have time for her to correct due to other appointments before the wedding. I was given a credit supposedly however when I went to use with my mom yet again we waited for 45 min and told it would be another 15 min and each time we have had appointments. We left. We decided to go on a weekday in the morning and they not only wouldn't honor the credit and they then didn't have time to take my gel "pink" nail polish off my fingernails and "Ginny " decided to become verbally aggressive again. She runs her workers like a brothel. Save your money and headache and go elsewhere. Such a disappointment and again I've never seen customers treated like such dirt ! Horrible service along with terrible manicures and pedicures to the point of causing damage . Ferndale is a small town and I'm all about supporting local business but this is one I will continue to let everyone I know how horrible they are and a call to the health department is warranted. read more

Cute place great location. Friendly guy greeted me when I arrived 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment time. I picked out my colors for my pedicure and dip with gel manicure. 15 minutes after my appointment time I was seated in a chair to soak my feet. 10 minutes later a man come over and started my pedicure. I noticed the tools has been used and asked for new clean tools. He tried to assure me they were clean because they were in plastic... The plastic he was referring to was a Ziploc bag you can clearly see that the nail buffer had been used I asked for new equipment. There was some things exchanged between him and the older lady and he came back with different tools that looked clean. The whole pedicure was about 10 minutes. And he was unnecessarily rough. After I went to get my nails done I had to sit and wait for another ten minutes because they had snuck in other people without an appointment. The lady was very nice I believe her name was Jenny. Said whoever did my previous dip didn't know what they are doing. Unfortunately the dip with a manicure and gel polish means a dip, one coat of dip no gel polish no manicure. By this time I was over it I paid my bill got the gel taken off since it didn't happen, they said any nail services is a manicure so I paid that and left. I usually have a great experience at this salon. My appointment this past week was NOT great. So much so that I won't be going back. My scheduled pedicure didn't start until I had waited about an hour ( sat in the chair with no water to soak in for an hour). This put me at the salon well past their closing time. My nail tech seemed tired and just wanted to go home. My deluxe pedicure was mediocre to say the least. My warm towel wrap was left on until the towels were freezing cold ( and so was I!). The hot stones weren't hot due to the door of the warmer being open while a repairman worked on the warmer. Plus while I sat with cold towels on my legs, the salon crew busily started to clean, sweep, and close the salon. Even closed the register then asked if I had cash to pay. Went there to get a fill, i went to a 5 star salon for the original nails and was pleased with them, but didn't want to spent the extra money. So i went to Instyle mainly because the lower prices, on their menu it listed a regular acrylic fill for $25. When I went there the salon it looked really nice. She started doing my nails and everything was fine, she asked what color i wanted and handed me a book, i proceeded to pick out my color, 10 minutes later what seemed to be a regular walked in and to pick out her color she was handed two books of color. She ended up cutting me while filing my nails and was rough when holding my hand. When i went to checkout it came out to be $40 not including tip just for a fill, which was the same price as the previous high end salon. It seemed as she was trying to make me pick the more expensive items and we'll i did because i couldn't understand her most the time. My nails are very uneven and crooked. I went to the salon to get my gel nails done this afternoon and asked for a particular gal that my daughter uses. She had a customer already & I was willing to have someone else do them since she was busy. Instead the older lady that greeted me makes the lady she's already got in her chair get up and move for me. It was awkward. The gal I had asked for seemed upset by the switch & was rude to me the entire the entire service. It went from bad to worse after I had to ask her to use clean instruments. She was visibly upset. For a salon owned by a NURSE who has made it a big bragging point on how clean the salon is your employees clearly don't get the importance of sterilizing tools every single time they're used. My towel was dirty too. To be rude to your customer by asking for clean tools is just not acceptable. I won't be back & I will let my local friends know too. My gel nails look like shit too. I've never had someone use so many coats of polish for a gel manicure. read more
