The agent who was supposed to be helping me had a horrendous snarky attitude. I was willing to restart my policy over a simple mistake but the fact I was asking questions and he simple was like "F your questions, do you wanna restart your policy" I hung up in his face and just did it in my app. No way I would let him get anything from me. I hope geico works on their customer service because if I couldn't do it in the app, I would NOT have been restarting my policy with them. Went from being a fan to absolutely despising them. On top of the other issues I have with them, NO I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

They did not explain to me that I would be charged an additional $285 in third-party fees on top of the $300 for their preparation fee. That's a total of $585! That was 12.5% of my entire tax return! It was only after I received my tax return that I found out about the third party fees, which included a bank fee, a bureau fee, a transmission fee, a technology fee, and a document preparation fee. What?!?!? Had I known that I would be charged $285 in third-parties fees, I would have paid them for their services up front and not waited for it to be taken out of the return. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to them and asked them to refund the $285, they were unwilling to take responsibility for their failure to communicate the third-party fees.
