The crew is ran like a family with strong morals and honest values, and they pass that same respect and treatment to there customers, whether your a walk-in or long time client. Very accomodating and warm energy from everyone at Inta, especially Connie, Nika, and Jerry whom helped us when we first arrived. We have been diamond ring shopping all around LA, and 98% of them have all had the typical "salesman" energy pushing the sale rather then considering the customer's needs, budget, or time. A big moment for me was when I had brought up another sourced diamond I was looking at during my time there, to get there opinion on it, and rather then become defensive or turn cold to try and sell there diamond like other stores; they actually looked into the IGI cert with me and my partner, and even complimented the cert qualifications. They opened our eyes on why the online diamonds were priced the way they were. They shared table percentages and other factors that attirbuted to the low price, despite the cert rating. They also grabbed a couple VVS1 and VS1 diamonds for us to compare, to see how just because certs are slighlty better does not always equate to a good looking diamond. The eye test is undefeated haha. All in all, Inta is such a breath of fresh air to run into when shopping for such a big occasion. For my first time to buy from a jeweler, I wanted to do my homework. I bought a loose gem (with paperwork) from Sri Lanka years ago and finally got around to wanting it turned into something special. The research to find just the right jeweler took some time. I knew it would likely be located in the jewelry district, but wanted to avoid faceless or stereotypical shops. There are so many. What stood out to me most was how much the owners stood out on the reviews. Anyone who doesn't mind posting pictures of themselves you know is more than likely trustworthy. So I first called, told them what I have and what I wanted done, my budget, if it was attainable, and scheduled an appointment for an appraisal. For $75, this was well worth it. I wanted to have it for insurance purposes, just in case. Corina was my first point of contact, and was very comprehensive in her text communications throughout. My first visit I got to meet Corina and Steve, who conducted the appraisal within 30 minutes. He made sure to let me know how much training and education he had, and ultimately valued what I had at the value I expected. I think about it for a couple days, then text Corina about working out an offer. She met me at my price range and that I would come back again to drop off the stone. It was important to get this done in such a way that the stone would remain unheated so as to retain it's rarity and high value. It was also important to get this done within 2 weeks so it would be ready to give as a gift for Valentine's Day. I paid for 50% of it upfront and 50% of the balance due upon completion. Corina texted me within a little after a week letting me know it was ready! So I set up a time to come back and pick it up. Little did I know that would be the day I got to meet the legendary owners, Jerry and Connie. They were there behind the counter, smiles beaming, and warmly welcomed me to their store. It was almost as if they had blocked out our entire time together to ensure everything was perfect, and it was indeed! They regaled me with their decades of experience, and pulled out the photo album showcasing so many notable figures who trusted them over the years entrusting them for one-of-a-kind pieces, including Michael Phelps and Stevie Wonder.
