And the doc is genuinely interested in how you're doing as a whole person which is an awesome change of pace. Everything is so efficient and runs smoothly. As I was getting my massage the children were running up and down the hall screaming. The music in the room kept cutting out making it worse. I couldn't relax. The room next door wall was so thin I could hear everything the folks were discussing. I complained and was given a complimentary sauna on my next visit. I asked about using my health insurance. They notified me that I could in fact use it and I made an appointment. I arrived only to be asked if I'd seen the Chiropractor first. They couldn't bill my insurance without that being done first. No one told me I'd have to do that and pay an additional fee of course. I was offered a massage at the full price not my insurance price. I was so frustrated I left. Felt like a bait and switch to me. Sure tell me one thing and then hit me up for more money after I get there. Never going back. Highly disappointed with this facility. Bad business. Should have given me the massage for the insurance price with another appt set with the chiropractor later. Never going back. Too bad. The Zen/relaxed experience I desired never happened. Don't tell me one thing and then change it up after I've gotten there. Doesn't scream integrity to me.

That ended up being a really bad experience because of two key issues... 1) a long wait time with other patients getting preference over myself and 2) even though the doctor assigned to me was quite cordial he used brute force during my adjustment like I had never experienced before. I walked out knowing I needed to find a better one. Fortunately, that lead me to Dr. Sean Lotterer at New Life Health Center. I got prompt attention at the front desk and before the adjustment he did an extensive evaluation of what I needed including X-Rays of my spine. I learned that my previous diagnosis of bulging discs was getting worse. No wonder I was feeling the pain and having headaches nearly every day. Being an experienced patient whom had received care from numerous chiropractors over the years I could tell that Sean knew his stuff. He did all the customary adjustments but added some that I had received in the distant past that were quite helpful. I walked out knowing that I finally found a chiropractor that I could trust. I have been back twice a week for over a month now and I am feeling great. I'm learning various stretches and yoga techniques that I hadn't been exposed to and they seem to help as well.
