I've been with IPM for 4 months now and only started with acupuncture with Dr Mary originally. I then branched our to Chiropractic adjustments and scraping/cupping and compression as well as the amazing massage therapy. The integrated approach is truly amazing. It addresses,m bone, ligaments and tendons, tissue work and I have to say it has helped me a lot. It's also easy to get in same day and I never have to wait for long at all. I went here for a massage for the first time this past weekend. I told the massage therapist that my massages are focused all on my back. She asked if it would be okay to do the arms too because it helps with tight shoulders and I said sure. She listened and that is all that was done during my visit. She asked me 2-3 times throughout the hour if the pressure was okay and I got to choose what music I wanted to listen to during the massage. (I can't stand spa music) Overall, I had an excellent experience and will be returning. read more

I have Multiple Sclerosis and I have had it for 23 years. Things have changed and I needed help with my balancing and my core to make me stronger. Dr. Scott Kenny and his entire staff have been great. My balance has really improved. I have fallen a lot in the past with my MS but after my last fall my Neurologist suggested Physical Therapy. This has been a very good thing for me. I still am in therapy but i know and the people I come into contact with really can see a big improvement in my walking and my balance. I bought a Groupon for a therapeutic full body massage. When I called to schedule the appointment, I specifically said I want the massage therapist to focus on my lower back. When I got to IPM, there must have been four employees just standing there, and none of them greeted me. I checked myself in, filled out the necessary paperwork, and then the massage therapist walked me to the massage room. I told the massage therapist to focus on my lower back only. I said I wanted a medium amount of pressure, and when she started the massage at the top of my back, she dug her thumbs into my back. Ouch! I reacted to it twice, and finally said to release the amount of pressure she's applying to my back. I reminded her again to focus just on my lower back and to increase the pressure there. It felt okay. She then asked mid-massage if I wanted a whole body massage. I was so confused because I was so clear when I said I JUST wanted attention on my lower back. She didn't listen, and her technique was very uncomfortable for me. I'm highly dissatisfied and will never go back. Advice to the owner: get friendlier staff and a massage therapist who actively listens. read more

UPDATE: A doctor contacted me shortly after posting the below review. He was quite concerned and understanding. Because of this I have changed the rating from 1 star to 3. I purchased a Groupon for 3 visits. I was experiencing some unusual lower back pain from a recent difficult move. I met with Dr. Mary a Chiropractor. She performed acupuncture on my back without a physical exam. Okay, I'll just get what I paid for, nothing more. On my second visit she popped the needles in and left. Within 5 minutes some fell out. I hollered until someone else came to pick up the needles wedged against my skin. I was unhappy with not having them reinserted. Someone else removed the remaining needles. When I approached the receptionist to make the final appointment she tells me that Dr. Mary wants to see me 2 to 3 times a week for the next 3 weeks. Wow! What a scam. And from someone who didn't even examine me. I canceled my next appointment. The office sent me a survey. I explained my concerns. I gave them a long opportunity to contact me to appease me but heard nothing. So I'm publishing this message. I'll lose my third visit that is already paid but I have no confidence in this place. read more

I came here on a referral from my girl friend ranting and raving of how nice they are. I have been suffering from head aches coming from my lower neck that I usually would get about 3-4 times a week. Also I was not able to completely turn my head all the way to the right without feeling a pinch. After about the third week with Dr. Josh I was already having less head aches and more mobility with my head movement. Going into about the 8th week now I haven't had a head ache in about 3 weeks and I can completely turn my head with no pinch at all! Dr. Josh was highly recommended by a friend who son has hypotonia. After our initial visit, he was honest with me and told me my son case was very unique trying to get him to walk with his arms down and that he was thinking of creative way to help him. Dr. Scott Kenny and staff are excellent. My Mom started coming to Dr. Scott Kenny when she was having significant back and neck pain. She couldn't even turn her head more than a little to the side before seeing him. Now she has more neck mobility and the pain in her back and neck are much better. She feels a lot better too with ongoing maintenance with Dr. Scott and his staff. The receptionist is terrific, friendly, and professional. They have great hours including Saturday hours. My primary doctor suggested I see a physical therapist because she believed I might have Benign Vertigo. For almost 1 year I would get "dizzy spells." I love this facility. Dr. Kenny and his staff are amazing. I went to see him after I went to physical therapy at another institution for a few months and they were never able to relieve my neck pain below a 7 pain scale. I read the reviews on yelp and thought I would give Dr Kenny a try. I am so happy I did. I have finished 8 visits and my neck is at about a 3 pain scale. What a difference. I can drive my car without wincing in pain. Dr Kenny is so hands on and involved with my care. At each visit he spends a little time with me asking about my pain level and responds accordingly. I have always been afraid of chiropractors for no reason in particular but he doesn't use his hands to manipulate me, he has this awesome tool that he can adjust the strength of and places it on each vertebrae and other parts of my back and I always feel great afterwards.
