She said that they are a foot doctor however they don't take VA coverage. That they don't help to heal any of the conditions that I stated and that I should look into getting a different referral someplace else. honestly, if you can't heal feet or work on any of these common foot conditions I can't fathom what else you would actually do as a Pediatrist. So, I was denied care because I am still sick?!?! I have been a patient at Guthrie for over 20 years and have experienced a sharp decline in practioner quality and availability for the past few years. I will be switching to another healthcare practice.

He lied to my face, blaming my condition on factors that weren't present and lying about my lab results.

I am also female, which according to 2 other women I know who've had similar experiences with Dr. Law, means the number one diagnosis is that it's all in our heads. ALSO : IGNORES THE ONLY ABNORMAL RESULT IN MY BLOOD WORK. He says that he doesn't think it's a problem for thyroid peroxidase antibodies to show up. That means my body is attacking its own thyroid. That's A FACT. He doesn't think the number is high enough to be "clinically significant." But my symptoms aren't clinically significant either. This is because I am female, so they don't really exist. You know what REALLY isn't clinically significant? Dr. Law's opinion. 2. I said I would get a second opinion: HIS EXACT WORDS: I quote: "I would advise you against doctor-shopping." Just let that one sink in for a moment... 3. His office practice billed me for a "Behavioral Health assessment" that was handed to me by the receptionist at check-in- FOR AN OBGYN visit with a nurse practitioner. They just tell you to fill out the forms. I ask later why the charge on my bill for an assessment that I neither requested or recalled receiving. I am told it's an optional form that I don't have to fill out. How about telling me that up front before I am "assessed" and then charged for something I don't need or want? That violates informed consent, by the way. The informed consent I sign agreeing to treatment at this office does NOT include care that I didn't consent to receiving. Informed consent can be revoked at any time. Except in this case, no consent, because I wasn't informed. 4. His practice decided to keep my credit card on file when I KNOW I did not give them permission. At least they deleted it when I told them to. Given that they want to charge me for things that are optional and unnecessary, but not tell me they are optional, that seems a bit shady. 5. Office assistant casually calls out to the other admin, while the "window" is open so everyone in the waiting room within reasonable hearing can hear: "Did that IUD we ordered come in yet?" Thanks a lot. HEY. Ever heard of something called HIPAA? 6. I had almost a 2 hour wait past my initial appointment time for the privilege of being allowed to see the great Dr. Law. 7. Although I am an athlete and muscular, the outdated one-size-fits-all BMI (body mass index calculator) in their electronic system flags me as OBESE. That is hilarious. AND demeaning. I should post a photo. 8. Because I see the NP for OBGYN care, and opted in using the patient portal to text messaging and emails, and phone calls, I am then harassed for two months by robo call, text message, and email to schedule a ROUTINE appointment in the middle of a pandemic. I think not. 9. I unsubscribe to text messages hitting reply on my phone and typing 564STOP which is what the messages say to reply, in order to opt out. I do this four times, receiving confirmation that I have unsubscribed...and continue receiving text messages. This is actually in violation of the FCC TCPA, I believe.Finally I go in through the Patient Portal to try and stop the harassment. Maybe the account settings for the portal do NOT allow unsubscription from text messages by text reply? I have unsubscribed from everything, and if it doesn't stop, a cease-and-desist letter will be my next step. 10. This is the second time I've been harassed for months by this practice for an OB GYN appointment. The only reason for my going to this office for that sort of care is that Kristin Stevens, NP used to work there. She was an AMAZING practitioner. She had to put an end to the harassment once by telling the office manager to stop. She retired, and I thought her replacement was pretty okay. The office practice? NO. 11. As of 7/28/20, one of the super positive reviews here is by Dr. Law's wife. That's a violation of Yelp guidelines, so hopefully that gets flagged and pulled. 12. I like Hannah Cramer, NP, and she provides good care. But given the overall experiences with this practice, I'm letting them go and finding a new OBGYN provider. (Sorry, Hannah, it wasn't your fault!). 13. They demand a copay even when your insurance covers certain visits at 100%, and you remind them of this. They find other ways to charge you, though. If you are a woman who wants REAL CARE, GO TO PAULA FITZSIMMONS AT WOMEN'S HEALTH OF CMA. I'm on the right meds, feeling healthy and strong again. Give this misogynistic jerk a hard pass. Men? Take your chances if you want. But I think if you say you want a second opinion, you're likely to be advised against "doctor shopping," too. IMHO, one-stop shopping in this office is a mistake. I got sick enough eventually that my condition threatened my job and ability to function. Good thing I got REAL treatment. Dr. Law couldn't be bothered.

Since they have…read moreswitched over the CMA -- ca. 2022 -- they are the most incompetent, unsympathetic, rude and even illiterate set of "medical" practitioners that I have ever encountered (I use scare quotes because I don't really know that what they do should qualify as medicine, so much as abuse). They are incapable of refilling medications on time, often schedule, cancel or change appointments without informing me, and my medical plan is occasionally changed -- seemingly on a whim -- by practitioners with whom I have never spoken., and who know nothing of my history or chart. The attitude towards health, in general, is putative: you are at fault for requiring a refill on time of a daily medication that they have prescribed (and they often even argue with you about the pharmacy where you wish to pick it up, suggesting less convenient alternatives), you are a nuisance if you require an appointment, and you will generally be "scolded"in a demeaning and dehumanizing way if you are not aware of policy changes of which they never informed you (or anyone else). Its really a shame, as the doctors were superb and erll-loved folks around town for years. But they have almost all retired or gone somewhere else. Now it is a travesty of ignorance mixed with anger and an utterly unfounded, unearned, and abused sense of authority. Horrible. I have never written a Yelp review before, but this place has been bad enough to warrant one.

From the reviews I've seen around for this company, it doesn't look like there's anybody minding the store. I guess that all of the doctors are operating independently and nobody is being careful that the organization has a good reputation. This one doesn't. I decided that if I have to tell my doctor what to do, I need another doctor. I did it.

They had called and left me a voicemail two days prior, about it being cancelled however I never saw it. They then rescheduled me for a few weeks later, and all was good. I thought this was odd, since I am in my young 20s and healthy and simply just needed a physical. But, I figured it wasn't a big deal and scheduled an additional appointment for a physical. My physical appointment that was a few weeks later ended up being cancelled, and I decided to not reschedule due to my busy schedule. Fast forward to May of 2020, I called the office to have a physical done since I was going out of town for a physical agility test for a LE position. The office got me right in and was willing to sign the necessary paperwork for my physical agility test. However, the Dr treated me very oddly. I was first seen by the Medical Student, who was wonderful, he asked me typical questions about my health, and was very polite, he was to the point and professional. Then the Dr Stevanovic walked in, as soon as he walks in he put his hand on my chin and goes "Wow what an ugly girl we need to get you to a dermatologist, you really are beautiful I'm just kidding babe". The extent of his medical exam was listening to my lung sounds, that was all he did. Then he spent 45 minutes lecturing me on how I'm "too pretty and nice to be a police officer", "you don't want to play with guns they kill people and turn you into a bad person" and "you should consider a nursing position you can work for me beautiful". After lecturing me on my career choices, he proceeded to ask me questions about my significant other. None of these questions seemed to be necessary for my medical exam. Luckily, paperwork was signed for my physical agility test. However I felt like the Dr was extremely unprofessional, and I felt uncomfortable due to his behavior towards me. The Dr wanted me to go get blood work and do a follow up, with him. He stated he wanted to rule out diabetes, despite me having no symptoms of it. I think it is very odd that he wants to do a follow up after blood work, for a condition I have no symptoms of. I am not sure if this is his way of getting more money out of my insurance or his way of seeing a young lady again. Overall, I DO NOT recommend this Dr. If you are a young female or involved in emergency services, do not waste your time and money with him.

He then threatened to take away his medication. My partner was too anxious to go back and was not able to refill his medication after that, causing him to be demoted. He then lost his job because of Covid-19, but is sure if he had been able to take his medication he would still be working. My partner left a google review, which Ithaca Primary Care paid google to remove, so it can't be seen by anyone trying to get an idea of what Ithaca Primary Care is about. It's extremely unprofessional and based off of other reviews that have since been removed, dr. stevanovic likes to harass his patients.

Their online customer website is a joke. I stumbled on a message in there that reported a very high A-1 C test that had been prescribed. No further contact about the serious matter. I guess I need a senior doctor. Beyond the individual Dr. Services, I've concluded that this company has a collection of doctors with nobody in particular in charge. The ratings give negative marks for customer service and clearly nobody over there is paying attention. I don't know what to make of this company but I'm about done.

My insurance rep called and because the P.A. should have a supervising doctor who did take our insurance (I've NEVER had this problem with our insurance) they said they'd cease billing...but took the money out of my son's account (they had the card from the co-pay) the next day. 3 times I've been told by billing that a manager would call me back; no call back. This is so wrong, if I can find the time will pursue with elected officials.
