I hired Heritage to clean out my dryer vent and the run to the exterior. They sent two technicians and they were polite and courteous. However, after they were "done" that's when the problems started. 1. They incorrectly reinstalled the inline duct booster making an extremely loud and vibrating noise throughout the whole house which never happened. 2. When they left I decided to test the dryer. I turned it on for 10 seconds and opened the dryer door to a burning odor. 3. They did not clean up the large amount of lint outside that was blown out during the cleaning. After contacting Heritage they agreed to send technicians the next morning. The technicians got tied up at another job and kept pushing back their availability window. You would think since they created a fire hazard they would prioritize you. They clearly did not. They sent the same 2 technicians back the next day. I explained to them the issues. The technicians said he wasn't familiar with the inline duct booster but was able to Google and Youtube what to do. Something I could have done. They were able to fix the inline duct booster. However, the burning odor they confirmed, and tested it with the dryer on and disconnected the vent to run on fresh air and there was no burning odor. They acknowledged that while cleaning the vent they blew lint on the heating element and it was burning leaving a fire hazard at my home. So when I said they need to fix the problem by disassembling the dryer to clean off the lint they said they don't do that. I asked for their supervisor's number which they gave me. I called him and texted him asking to call me ASAP. He never did. After they left I called their dispatch center and explained the situation. She told me they don't have technicians that do that and I would have to hire someone else. I said ok but your company is paying for it. She said she would have a Supervisor call me. No one ever called me. It's now over 3 weeks later and no one has called me back. I have since hired someone to clean it out. This company is absolutely terrible and I would never hire them again nor suggest them to anyone. Their technicians while polite, lack the experience needed to repair your home. Hire a local company. Heritage "serves" your community but they likely aren't located anywhere near you. There will likely be a generic response to this by Herritage apologizing for the inconvenience and to contact them so they can talk about this issue. It's all B.S., if they actually cared about their work or their customers this negative review would have never happened. My family and I were left without a dryer for almost a week. Stay away from Herritage!

Ryan was great, tried to keep my carpets/bathroom clean as much as possible and was patient in discussing my options and answering my questions. Surprisingly was able to get an appointment for install on Monday. Jared was also great. Definitely appreciate the small details and concerns to keep the carpet clean like hand carrying both the old and new water heater up 2 flights of stairs. Between the quick response/scheduling time, clean workmanship, and fine attention to detail, happy to say the leaking water heater experience felt less chaotic with 128's help! Total turnaround time, Friday 11pm to Monday 4pm hot water up and running!!

I called 128 Plumbing about one cracked drain pipe. I was told my entire house needed to be…read morerepiped. The estimate (#435094323) was $30,275 to demo every wall and ceiling necessary, disconnect first- and second-floor bathrooms, toilets and sinks, and replace the main stack. That was presented to me as the only option -- no alternatives, no phasing, nothing. And it did not include the roughly $6,000 I'd need to close the walls back up and reinstall fixtures, or the ~$400 roofer I'd have to hire and coordinate myself. Their own estimate puts the hole repair on the customer in writing. All in: nearly $37,000. Meanwhile my first-floor tenant was told she couldn't use her bathroom or her kitchen. When I hesitated at the number, I was told that at least if I sold the house I'd "have retail value." That's the line that made me stop and get a second opinion. Thompson Plumbing came out, found the actual leak -- old hubbed cast iron serving the kitchen -- and repiped it. $2,995. My final invoice was $3,420, and that included an unrelated frost-free silcock I added on. My toilet was fine. My kitchen sink was fine. My tenant's kitchen and bathroom were fine. Not one wall was demoed. Same house. Same leak. Ten percent of the price. I'm not going to speculate about why the two assessments were so far apart. I'll just say this: if 128 Plumbing tells you your house needs a $30,000 repipe, get a second quote before you sign anything. I nearly didn't, and it would have cost me thirty-three thousand dollars I did not need to spend.
