I hired them last year to install wiring, breaker and a NEMA 14-50 plug for charging my new Tesla…read moreModel Y with the mobile charger. They came, did the work and all looked good. Six months later I started getting overheating errors at the plug and charging automatically drops voltage for protection. After a few times of this happening I decided to look at the plug to see if there were loose connections at the plug. The connections seemed to be not tight enough so I tightened them a bit more (I understand that they should be torqued so I didn't over tighten the connections). This seemed to have worked until it started to happen again seven months later. Decided to replace outlet with one recommended for EV charging and when I compared both plugs there was a huge difference in size. The one I ordered was industrial grade and was even marked for EV charging. Now they knew this job was for an EV charger and I don't understand why they installed a regular kitchen range NEMA 14-50, those cannot handle the duty cycle demanded by EVs. Perhaps they were not experienced enough on EV chargers. Needless to say, it now works fine and safely with the new plug.

The initial installation crew, Gabe, Mike, Jose; the final crew Sedrick, Adam, and Josh were very focused and helpful. We have had interactions with the owner, Jacob, Lawson -Operations, and Amanda. They also managed and coordinated the St. Johns County inspections, which passed without any exceptions. Lawson even came to our home to help us with App orientation issues. This is truly a 5-star company.

We did consult a couple different companies but chose generator supercenter because of their customer service, proximity to our home, reliability, and dependability. We had a seamless install and have only had one instance in which the generator was needed since it was installed. When the power went out, within a second or two, the generator kicked in as it should've. That right there is worth ANY amount of money that anyone could pay for a generator! Knowing that we can make it through the future storms and power outages that come with living in Florida with little to no issues is amazing! Bring on the Hurricane Parties!!!!

First, I want to recognize Matt, the technician who came to my home. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous throughout the visit. He took the time to answer my questions and shared valuable information about water treatment systems and installation considerations. He also mentioned that when these units are shipped and transported on their sides, it can sometimes create issues depending on the equipment and how long it remained in that position. I appreciated his expertise and his willingness to educate me on the project. My concern is not with Matt, but with the company's communication regarding fees. During my Yelp communications, I was advised that this would be a free estimate. Based on that representation, I scheduled the appointment. Matt reviewed the project and provided a quote of approximately $2,700. After obtaining several other quotes in the $400 to $550 range, I decided to move forward with another installer. Only after I informed Matt that I would not be proceeding with David Gray was I advised of a $49 service charge. At no point during the Yelp conversation, scheduling process, or prior to the appointment was I informed that there would be a charge associated with the estimate. Had I known about this fee in advance, I would not have scheduled the appointment. What made the situation more frustrating was that after declining the work, I received an invoice via email for the $49 charge, despite my understanding, based on the Yelp messages, that the estimate was free. This came as a complete surprise, as no fee had been disclosed or discussed beforehand. I believe companies should be transparent about any service-call, trip, diagnostic, or estimate fees before scheduling appointments so customers can make informed decisions. Again, Matt was excellent and represented the company professionally. My review reflects concerns with the company's communication and billing practices, not the quality of service provided by the technician. I would encourage future customers to confirm in writing whether any charges apply to estimates or site visits before scheduling an appointment.
