We take a chance by stopping in Bishop to go to DJs Auto which is open 24 hours. I'm not going to lie, this plot seemed like the intro to a terrible horror movie...This mama to be was nervous but as soon as meeting DJ all worries were swept away. This man is passionate, an OG of his trade, and completely selfless. He told us stories of saving a child who was locked in a trunk near Area 51, DJ was the first on the scene. He's helped people get back onto the road during trying times like ours, and worse! You can tell he loves what he does and helps because he believes in humanity. This sounds nutty but he said it himself "you get into this world what you put out". He didn't even expect a payment for repairing our flat. (Of course we generously tipped). This man is the desert dwelling guardian angel of 395. The light of the end of a tunnel for so many stories that could have turned out so dim. My only regret was not taking a picture of his motorcycle DJ has on his lot that was used in Mad Max. DJ Installed an iron rod cart so that he can take his dog out for a ride too. A highlight of our trip came out of the flat. He deserves your business hands down, You won't be disappointed !

James was awesome, he knew his craft, and great passion for his job! He explained the issues and showed me the problem areas. The Good, Bad and the Ugly. After replacing the spring and other worn off parts it was fixed. During the process he showed me the cost of each of the parts that needed replaced and added them with my approval. Our garage door spring broke and we tried to contact Pro Door Doctor, having had a wonderful experience with them in the past. Upon learning that A1 had acquired the company, we decided to move forward in hopes that the experience would be the same. We couldn't have been more wrong. We set an appointment time window when both of us could be home. The technician showed up early. He priced out the broken spring, some hinges, and other minor repairs needed that I quickly signed for while on a conference call. I came out a short bit later to check on how things were going and he said "we haven't even talked about the motor yet!" and proceeded to convince me that I needed a new motor. Additionally, he ran tests on my other garage door, which I did not give him permission to do and tried to sell me on repairs for that one as well (which thankfully I declined). All in and done, we were charged $2800 - $880 alone for a motor we did not need, is NOT quiet like the motor we had, and cost us 3x what it retails new online. I was also told that he could give me a discount that was better than the free consultation coupon that we had but the "discount" was actually signing onto some kind of warranty program that I didn't get any explanation for. We called multiple times over multiple weeks to complain and never made it past an initial Customer Care agent. They say they are documenting what you say and passing it to their "escalation team" to call you back, but you will never hear from them. I highly question the ethics and business tactics that this company utilizes
