My business experience with Dave was great at the very beginning of this deal. We talked on the phone about numerous trucks and he was actually very helpful. I ended up settling on a truck that seemed perfect for what I needed. I decided to have the truck delivered to TN. This is where my experience takes a turn. Before the truck was delivered, I made it very clear to him that I needed an hour heads up before the truck got delivered so that I could look at it and go through thee functions of this truck. Dave agreed and said no problem. The truck got delivered without any heads up or a confirmation phone call telling me the truck had been delivered. How I found out the truck got delivered was from the sign company I had my truck delivered to. The sign company, not Dave called me after 30 minutes of the truck already being delivered and notified me about my truck. After I handled my business with the sign company, I got in the truck to head to my house. I didn't even get 2 miles own the road before the drive shaft came apart under the truck and got left stranded. Immediately called Dave and told him what was going on and he told me that his delivery driver didn't tighten the bolts back down in the U-joints when he reattached the driver shaft. Dave said that he was sending his driver back down to tow my truck back to my house. When the driver got back to pick my truck up, he was hooking my truck up to his semi and totally ruined my front bumper when he picked it up to toe. When I say ruined, it will not pass DOT inspection, in other words, it's a ticket when you get pulled over. After a few days, Dave did make it right on the drive shaft and he sen his mechanic down to fix it. The mechanic that came down to fix it was amazing, him and his wife were fantastic people, and they both were in shock from the damage on the bumper. They both took pictures of the bumper that got ruined. The ONLY issue I had with this truck when I got it in my possession was the 2 front steer tires, they were dry rotted and full of flat spots and NOT ROAD WORTHY. Extremely sketchy. However, I brought this Daves attention and he kept telling me that he would make right... between the driveshaft issue and waiting on him to make it right my truck sat in my driveway for a week not being able to be used. I was sold a truck that was supposed to be in a work ready condition. I want to stress again that my ONLY issue I had with the truck was the 2 front steer tires. But now between negligence on Daves part, we are dealing with 3 issues now not just 1 issue. I got tired of waiting on Dave to make it right so I went and spent almost 1600.00 on new steer tires. Then when I called him to get this handled he counter offered me and said that he pay half of the tires, he wouldn't pay the full price. I told him that I would overlook the bumper if he just made it right on the tires. He would no, and at this point he didn't say anything about the bumper. He started not texting or calling me back, so I sent him a very direct text message, see photos. He still wouldn't call or text me back. I Finally after a day or two got him on the phone, and very fast he accuse me of being a bully and he said I was quite frankly I was being an a****** and he would not do business with me anymore and hung up on me. Dave Cussed me out because he got called out on things that were totally his fault. Not Ethnical business practice. I went to a local fab shop to check on bumper, that was going to be 3,000 more dollars OUT OF MY OWN POCKET to fix when his company was the one that damaged it in the first place! All I wanted was the 2 Steer tires taken care of and to have "work ready" truck. That is not what I received. So 5,000 dollars later OUT OF MY POCKET my truck is now work ready. The Allen county, Indiana DA's office was EXTREMELY helpful with my next moves going forward. I was set to do long term business with Dave from how he was at the start. I was talking with investors to really expand my new company and buy several more trucks from Dave. But I DO NOT DEAL WITH CON ARTIST! read more

Beware !!!! Nothing but con artists stay faraway from them, Dave and his son bunch of liars and selling junk. Said that they were going to do us right, everything changed once we showed up, you have to pay to get it here but Dave said I'll send wrecker made me leave parked never went for it , said I have to pay and to fix it I'll have to pay for it . Didn't make it more than 98 miles and it over heated. Told us that they were going to refund us, or fix it yeah neither. Lawsuit for sure !! Said you can't drive that truck on highway that's why deliver I wonder why. Said they changed the filters lies once we took it to mechanic. only makes them pretty and tries to sell them. Avoid this business. They sold me a total piece of junk. Horrible paint job. There welds are all busted. Brakes leak. Hydraulic fluid massively leaks. Tires are falling apart. They put electrical tape over instrument cluster to block service warning lights. Truck was all over the road. Tie rod ends and ball joints were shot. Boom got red tagged by Altec. So much to list. Hope this clown has deep pockets cause its time to pay up. Best part. Made me release full payment due to the fact I wanted it painted red instead of white. read more

I'm trying to save the next poor soul that decides to even think about looking at one of these peoples equipment. It all started with a text then a phone call David Pfister and family are the biggest con artists iv ever delt with . I ordered a 2005 c7500 forestry bucket truck They wanted 37,000 for it , paid an additional$ 2000 to ship it. I paid and signed all necessary Documents. David the crook kept telling me over and over how it's a great the truck is and "ready" to make me money. He said he was a religious man , I was under the assumption he was about good faith and honesty. Anyway I received the truck after a bunch of previous promised dates. It finally arrived on February 28th at 5:30pm . The driver Joel got out and started unhooking the truck. I noticed right away that the truck was literally rolled in the paint booth from and auction house and they spray painted over all the engine, pony motor which underneath had grease and grim( yes they do this to every one of there pieces of equipment ) They pick up there equipment very cheap turn around and paint it and sell it. So I contacted David he kept telling me over and over the truck is great and ready to make me money. 1. The truck started but dies after you give it more then half throttle. (Non operational) 2 . The pony motor started and runs for 30 seconds then just dies.(non operational) 3. When joel (the driver delivery guy) showed me all this , last on the list was to operate the upper man basket on the bucket truck. It immediately started dumping hydraulic fluid on the hood and all over the cab ( as the basket sits over the cab) when the pto got engaged. So I called David explaining everything He said get it fixed let me know . So I got everything fixed besides the truck chassis motor (it's still in the shop at jimmy Johnson Chevrolet) It was over 6,000 to fix the boom It was 1700.00 to fix the pony motor So far iv spent 900 on the chassis motor which as of this moment is still not fixed. I'm a small business owner , with a family and a honest head on my shoulders. I held up my end of the bargain I have lost countless days of work because I bid the jobs to have this truck on them. When I sent the invoices of the scope of work that was performed to get the truck up to par ,The owner answered the call And told me that " we will just have to settle this in court and see what the judge has to say" All in all people I'm telling you DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!!! Don't do business with this company! Several years ago we purchased a piece of equipment and had it delivered. The driver was new and backed into a structure in our yard. Costs were $10,000k to repair. Dave Pfister kept telling us he informed his insurance company, but after taking him to court, it was discovered he never did because he didn't want his premiums to go up. Our insurance would only cover a fraction of the costs since he never contacted his insurance company. He also said he'd pay our deductible. We've never seen a dime! The Court ruled in our favor and after leaving the courtroom he turned to us and stated that he'd never pay us. That's the only honest thing he's ever said. We ended up paying just shy of $5000 out of our own pocket to finish the repairs. Dave is dishonest and a crook. Avoid doing any business with this company. read more
