Whoever thought it was a good idea to make patients check in using a phone clearly didn't think it through. It feels like the front desk is avoiding doing their job by having sick patients check themselves in, and it creates unnecessary contact points where germs can easily spread. If someone comes in for a non-illness-related issue, they're now exposed to germs from everyone touching the same equipment. As for the care itself, I will say the medical team is fast, efficient, and provides quality treatment. However, the front desk experience completely overshadows that. Another major issue is the lack of privacy. The front desk openly asks patients, "What's going on with you?" in front of the entire waiting room. While I was there, a man came in and had to quietly tell the receptionist he had diarrhea -- in front of everyone. That's embarrassing and absolutely not how patient information should be handled. These conversations should be left for triage in a private room, not asked out loud in a lobby full of strangers. Because of these issues, I will not be returning to this location.

Upon being seen I was taken back decently quick. Got checked in, when I went to get imaging done there was the African American lady with graying in color dread locs who was nice at first when she was around the person I came in with and other doctors but when she took me to the X-ray room she was rude pushing my injury around violently and asked "why can't I move my injury into the position," that she was asking. She threw the piece that they use to mark which side of the body they're imagining as well. I'm not sure if she thought I was a young teen because I look young but I'm almost in my thirties. After coming out of the room she was ongoing with her rudeness saying you can go back to whatever room you came from. Then a little before my X-ray came back she popped her head in trying to see if I said anything to any of the staff or who I was with. Which I did. Now I am here writing this review for the public. This is the scary part that people go through with healthcare workers behind closed doors until or if they're caught. As I walked, they just finished mopping the floor and the lobby floor was so wet, they had the caution sign but anyone can fall if you're not careful. The wait took forever and I was the only one in the lobby. I thought maybe, the rooms were full, negative. I was the only one patient. As they take my X-ray, I was in pain trying to position myself and at one point I had to hold the plate on my stomach for them to take the X-ray. The nurse was nice and all but the machine looked like a dinosaur. The Dr and nurses in-charge was ok but the front desk girls was friendly. The highlight of this visit was their snack station.

Every visit has been amazing, we always go to their website and you can check appointment times before selecting a location (we seem to live in the center of all 3 so it doesn't matter to us where we go). The system keeps our insurance information on hand, I always do the paperwork through my computer when I schedule and then I don't have to do it when we go in. This is just an Urgent Care, it doesn't replace the emergency room or your regular doctor. All visits have had a sheet that tells you if you need to follow up with your doctor or not etc. I tell anyone I know when they need urgent care to come here. They have always been good to me and my children.... I have followed up with the PCM after when the injury/illness has required more in depth care etc. They definitely help fill in the gap when we can't get into the clinic and we don't need to go to the ER.

But he's sweet and friendly and he has treated me with respect and compassion from day one. I haven't always had the best experiences with Doctors because I'm a "big" person and they've treated me like a number on a scale rather than a person. Dr R isn't like that. He's encouraged me to be healthy and given me guidance without tearing me down or humiliating me. I'm moving out of state soon and I will really miss him and his nurses. I am taking one star off for the front desk staff... they can be terse. But if you are friendly and respectful to them... they are the same with you.
