My son started here when he was six months old. I loved that they had a video system where I could check in on his room. It helped ease my nerves as I was dropping off my first kid and going back to work. 6 months later I got a call that they were closing and was panicking about finding a new spot. Thankfully they were bought out by a Montessori school and were able to stay open. My son stayed there another year and had a great time. He would run right in and loved the teachers there. Even during COVID lockdown, I felt that they communicated the best they could. We are sad to be leaving but are moving away. I'm only giving it 4 stars because there were a few times that my son came back with scrapes and bites and there was no injury report. They did write one for bigger injuries (aka my son running head first into things cuz you know... toddlers). Also I would have liked there to be an online payment system. I would definitely send my son there if we end up living closer again. read more

What a sweet ride it has been! Both my children are now school-aged and we will be leaving this sweet place in a couple of weeks. My children will miss the teachers, friends, and home-cooked style food, but overall their Intellichildren family because that's how we feel there, like family. But we will be back for school vacations and holidays! The village at Intellichildren is also changing! Carol and Gerry, long-time owners have passed the torch and hopefully getting some rest and enjoying their well-earned retirement! Intellichildren is awesome. Our daughter can't wait to go to preschool in the morning and is often 'not ready' to come home when we pick her up. The teachers and all the kids always seem to have smiles on their faces making it easy for our little princess to make friends and have fun there. Having the watch me grow internet video camera to check-in is very comforting to us as working parents. Lots of arts and crafts every week and she really loves the other activities like music and dance. We notice how well she speaks and counts now even in Spanish and she's much more active in her singing which is so adorable. Update: I stopped by the school to get a copy of my son's medication records (since they failed to email them to me as promised when we left the school). When the director, Brandy, gave me the log, it was clearly doctored to show they had given all medication doses perfectly on time every single day, even though Brandy was very much aware that was not the case. She even had to take personal action to provide my son his medication on time for a few days because the teachers admitted they kept forgotten to give him doses or gave some over an hour late some days. When I confronted Brandy, she said that was the log they had on file. I told her it was obviously fabricated and that I wanted the logs they keep on file for licensing, and she said that's the only one they kept on file and the only one she would be able to give me. How can any parent trust the lives of their children in the hands of a school that neglects their students and blatantly lies about it? I will never trust this school with my son's life or safety ever again. read more

I highly recommend Intellichildren to anyone! When we first started our daughter at Intellichildren, it was owned and run by a woman named Carol for a few months, and then the new owner, Janet, a very successful business owner, not to mention an amazing teacher, took the reins! My daughter attended Intellichildren for approximately 8 months in 2019/2020 up until COVID-19 caused all schools to close and I was forced to stay home with them while working from home! My daughter was in the infant room at Intellichildren. I can't say enough wonderful things about Elena and Carina that work there. They did such an amazing job with our daughter! She loved going to school because of them! There are so many other employees/teachers there that are amazing as well and always greeted my daughter and our family with huge smiles. If you are the type of parent that worries easily, they have WatchMeGrow, an app that allows you to see your child in their classroom via some type of camera set up. My wife used it all the time, whereas I didn't, so if you are the type of parent that feels more comfortable having that that is one excellent option for you. The school also has a keyed entry to enter the facility which adds another level of comfort when leaving your child with them. The new owner really cleaned up the place and made a lot of new changes and even has one room that is dedicated to the Montessori Learning teaching method. The new owner has a ton of experience running preschools in Southern California and teaching! Also, every teacher we met at Intellichildren is bilingual, so that is another awesome thing to mention because the teachers would speak to our daughter in both languages, so if that is something that is important to you I am sure you can discuss that with Ms. Janet upon enrolling your child in her school. We were so lucky to have initially met Ms. Janet at another school (Montessori Learning Academy) that my son goes to where she was his teacher, so when we learned Ms. Janet was going to be taking over the school my daughter was enrolled in (Intellichildren) we were so happy and relieved. I am so thankful that she was able to teach my son! He grew so much and learned so much in the time with her before she took over Intellichildren. I feel so fortunate that she was part of my son and daughter's education and want to take this opportunity to tell any parent considering Intellichildren that it is very rare to have such an experienced business owner who runs a preschool that has as many years of teaching experience as she does! My daughter is in the 4 year old preschool class with Evelyn but started at Intellichildren with Christine in the 3 year old class. I was nervous as she had never even had a non-family babysitter. She loved Christine's class and loves Evelyn's as well. These two teachers really care about their students and are constantly coming up with art projects and science experiments to enrich their students experience. Recently the school had a Thanksgiving breakfast with a whole spread. Evelyn's class sang a song and had different activities set up with coloring and hat making and a coloring story of Thanksgiving. My nephew started here when he was 4 months old , he had napping issues and the team was Persistent to find a routine that worked for him. We absolutely love the staff they greet us by name, they are very personable! We love the projects they create and the learning that goes on in the establishment. They even have technology to view your children while your at work that makes leaving your loved ones there a little less stressful at first! FANTASTIC! My son goes to this facility and absolutely loves it. The staff and teachers are hands on, knowledgeable, outgoing and know what they are doing. Every morning at drop off and every afternoon at pick up, you are greeted with a smile and status report of your child's day. The staff REALLY take the time to genuinely know you and your family. Which is so, so important for us working parents. Knowing my son is in a safe, secure and fun place to learn and play was super important to my husband and I. An added bonus was they provide healthy nutritious food throughout the day which takes some stress off the parents for those crazy mornings. They truly cater to my son since he has allergies and don't miss a beat. I can't praise his teachers enough but there is one shinning star that stands out; her name is Gerika. Gerika is hands on, intelligent and cares about the kids. Returning to work was a breeze with Gerika on our side. All three of our children have been at Intellichildren, and we can't speak high enough of this preschool and infant care center. Every classroom and teacher is caring, engaging, and really cares about the development, learning and well being of each child. We also love the all-inclusive elements of the school including music and dance programs, as well as lunch and snacks. Other schools we considered charged extra for each of these. The preschool curriculum of Ms. Janet is superb and prepared our now Kindergartner for Kindergarden, Ms. Gwen and Ms. Selene are incredibly caring and engaging for our 3 YO, and our 1 YO toddler is growing and developing at amazing speed through the development and enrichment program. My daughter is in the infant class, and I love that I can check in on her whenever I want via video! Every time I check in, she is being well-cared for. I've never felt that she was being neglected. My daughter has attended Intellichildren since she was 2 years old, and she will be headed to Kindergarten this year. They offer reduced tuition if you qualify. I don't receive tuition assistance but it is still affordable, especially compared to the other preschools in the area. They have a camera system as well so you can watch your child from anywhere, and they provide breakfast, lunch and a snack! They have always been very kind to my daughter here. I would keep looking! My daughter started as an infant there and I pulled her out of there about 5 mos. later. They made her go with the toddlers as soon as she turned 1 and was walking, but it was way too soon for her. They cut out 1 of her naps, took her bottle and her blanket (which she was extremely attached to) and cried EVERY DAY when I dropped her off and picked her up. I was watching her on the online camera and saw just her and an older little boy on the toddler side, and the only teacher in the room was on the infant side tending to a baby. I saw the little boy push my daughter over and I didnt see her get up for several seconds. Nobody came to get her up or comfoft her. She was bit twice (the first time she was still an infant and bit by a toddler) and had her face scratched in only 3 mos. When I asked the girl about her being knocked over, her response was "well, we do the best we can". I remember asking a few times about specific things throughout her day and twice the girls response was "I dont know, I wasnt here". The area is not great either. I have seen cops in that shopping center twice when dropping her off in the morning, and saw a guy get punched in the face and pulled out of his car once after i picked her up. I feel they are understaffed and unprofessional. As soon as I started her at a new licensed HOME daycare, she waz a whole new, happy baby. read more

My aunt is currently an employee here. She has recently told my mom and I that the other employees have been bullying her. The employees have left her to tend to all the children alone. She recalls that one once told her that the children get hurt by themselves often and that its normal when she saw a little toddler boy hit his head on the table. She says that the other staff members aren't looking after the kids properly. For example, one day a child's diaper was full of pee and an employee said that it didn't need to be changed since it was still dry. This angers me. What kind of manager employs people that don't even care about the kids' safety and happiness to be at a daycare center? People working at a daycare center should have friendly and down-to-earth personalities with the other employees and the children. Parents who truly care about their kids will do well to stay away from this place. read more
