There were so many sandwiches, cheesecakes, and bakery items to choose from that I had a hard time deciding. The staff was so kind and recommended some items. My favorite was definitely the greenhouse sandwich. The vegetables were incredibly fresh, and the bagel was warmed just right. I also tried a few bakery items. The double matcha canelé had a great texture with a crisp exterior and soft interior, but my absolute favorite was the double early grey financier. The earl grey flavor really stood out and made it the winner for me. I also tried the yuzu cheesecake, but honestly, it didn't taste too different from the lime cheesecakes I've had elsewhere. The cafe has plenty of tables and chairs, making it a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy your time chatting with a friend or working/studying. Overall, this place literally made my Saturday morning perfect, and I would definitely come back as a regular on weekends.

Yuzu - really good yuzu flavor, one of my faves Chocolate - I forget the exact name of this one but it has chocolate in it, really nice rich chocolate flavor, also a favorite Matcha - the matcha flavor is there but it's too bitter, it needs more sweetness Ube - very mild ube flavor, was ok Coffee - this one was also ok, kind of tastes like those coffee candies you get Black sesame - the most disappointing flavor, it was such a faint black sesame flavor, totally NOT the rich roasted black sesame flavor you would expect, maybe they are using unroasted black sesame I would only get the yuzu and chocolate cheesecakes again. I've also tried their matcha latte but it was standard, not memorable, but I would try their other drinks.

One thing I do notice is that my drinks are inconsistently made. I really think it depends on who is the barista. Sometimes my almond joy is made perfectly and other times it barely has coffee, dark chocolate, and haupia in it. Sad days when my iced coffees aren't made perfectly. Hopefully they improve on this.

I waited another few minutes, and since she had no urgency I went back up and asked for my food and drink now!!! What's the point of ordering online when they are not even going to cater to the people that ordered ahead of time? The ice in my drink was already melting and my hot egg bites were cold. I was very disappointed in this experience today. Get it together Better Buzz Miramar! Not ok to treat your customers this way, especially when this place is as expensive as it is. From the picture of the girl with the rude face, you can see all of the drinks just sitting on the counter. She wasn't wearing a name tag, and they need to know who their people are that are driving away business. Do better!!!!!I will not be back to this location. Fashion Valley has better service with people that have smiling faces. Turns out, someone had the same exact rude experience in the drive through, based on a review I read after this was posted. Clearly the attitude has not improved. Poor service will not be tolerated.

I've been a customer of Intelligent Blends for quite some time now. I'm convinced that there is no other coffee and customer service that matches that of Intelligent Blends. I'm hooked! But it doesn't end there. I've been hosting tourists, University students, International students in my home for over 7 years. They come from far away places like Turkey, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia to name a few. They are here short term attending the Defensive Language Institute located at Lackland AFB in San Antonio. Coffee is provided on a complimentary basis. And, there's no better choice but to offer the best, Intelligent Blends. They all love the coffee and the many different blends. As a parting gift to them when they leave, they get a box of Intelligent Blends to take back to their respectful country. Many of them are unable to continue with the product because of their location. I'm currently working on a plan to personally ship the coffee to them. Hope it all works out. Keep up the good work and continue to supply us with the best coffee. read more

I really have enjoyed the variety of intelligent blend coffees that are available. The dark roasts are rich and strong. The lighter roasts smooth and tasty. My favorite blend is half and half, one of the best half and half blends I have found. Both the price per pod and free shipping are attractive features, though shipping is slow so I recommend ordering before you run out. The slow shipping is why I rated 4 not 5. The company is super responsive to the customer. I received the wrong shipment of coffees recently and they immediately made it right, sending what I had ordered and letting me retain the wrong coffees. I shared those with a friend who liked the coffees so wel she plans to order herself. While the pods are recyclable, one of the reasons I initially ordered them, I find it cumbersome to separate the pods and the coffee. read more

I have always used a coffee machine while my boyfriend used k-cups. I started getting jealous so i tried a cup. Fell in love with the k-cup but not his coffee. he drinks mild-medium roast to me almost taste like water. I love make you stand up straight dark roast. Dilemma, who, where, what.... my head was spinning. I came across a special Intelligentblends was having so i checked them out. Woohoo! They had Espresso. I tried a small count and fell in love. Fantastic tasting coffee, full body and freshly ground. Yes,the pods are a little thick but I dont mind pushing them in. It's worth it for the great cup of coffee I know I'll get. I have bought several of the sampler packs, the only one no one in the house liked was the salted caramel. That's ok, we have a keurig at work, everyone there appreciates when I bring in oddities to try. 3 people in the household drink coffee, all different, of course, so Intelligent Blends is the only place I will order coffee from as I know it's sure to please them. So, the next time you order a sampler and don't like one, try taking it to work or giving it to someone else, then at least it doesn't go to waste and they can try it without the risk of ordering and not liking. And yes, like a lot of folks, I believe shipping is slow, however, I figure it's better than when I had to go to the store to get coffee. read more

I love this coffee a lot! I realize that shipping is a weak point they have but I think as company expands improvement in shipping timely will be more forth coming. In order to get the best price available I try to only purchase the 100 CT. Boxes. I order before I need it because that way I am not without my coffee. You can also order a monthly purchase automatically. Hands down the coffee is a robust flavor not a weak coffee that sometimes happens with some pod coffees. My favorite is Kona Lisa... Best coffee ever! Best prices ever! I've tried several different varieties and have not been disappointed. Some are so good I even prefer to drink them black and I have always added milk so that speaks volumes about the quality of this coffee. On top of all that, the pods are recyclable with an easy-pull tab to pull the top off and discard the filter. Easy peasy, no muss, no fuss. So easy to keep track of your orders and the shipping is lightning quick. Customer service is unmatched. I love some of their coffee and teas. The espresso is the best I have ever had in a pod for making Cafe Americano! I do wish the Espresso was available in decaf but I will drink and stay awake - it's that good! Some of their decaf flavored coffees are totally wonderful, but I do wish I could order each of my favorites as individual pod shipments and not have to get the 100 pod mixed pack to get them (Raspberry Choco-Latte comes to mind). I order 99% of my coffee pods online from various sources. I have been very happy with every shipment from Intelligent Blends and have recommended them to friends and family. I even ordered some of the sample packs as a Christmas gift to go along with my son's new Keurig. While some reviewers are strangely reviewing the poor postal service they have experienced, I have no complaints in that area, either. (Once a shipment receives tracking information and leaves their facility, how can they be held responsible??? Focus on the product, people!) read more

I ordered 2-sample packs. The price seemed good and the selections were impressive. About 2-weeks after I placed my order I received an email notice that my order had been delivered. BUT I did not receive it. It was nowhere to be found. I notified Intelligent Blends and I received an almost instant reply (computer generated, I'm sure) that gave me a reference number for my issue. We have been drinking nothing but Intelligent Blends coffee since we discovered it, and couldn't be happier. We like dark roast coffees, and there are several winners to choose from, such as Tall Dark and Handsome and French Roast From The Coast. Both are delicious brews. They have also now added an Organic line up for a few pennies more per pod. Our favorite of those is the Sumatra. The best part? Easily the cheapest pods we have found without any sacrifice in taste. Intelligent Blends (in San Diego) has some really great coffee pods. They work with most all Keurig models, I have a 2.0 and rarely have to use a label I cut from a K Cup and that works. Another great thing is all shipping is FREE and if you do some searching, you can very often find a BRADS email that will have a discount code bringing the $39/100 down to $32/100 or less, I LOVE the Vanilla, They call it French Vanilla but it's every bit as good as the Keurig pod read more

I heard about them through, I think Brad's Deals. At the time it was a great offer at a good price so we gave them a shot. Our next order was a 75 count variety pack and it's perfect. We'll use Intelligentblends forever now. I love that we can pick though various strengths/dark/light depending on what we're feeling and not stuck with the same coffee every single cup. Love the coffee, especially the fact that they have dark roast variety packs. My husband loves the flavored coffees, and we both love that the pods are recyclable. I also ordered caffeinated flavored pods and received decaf and the woman I talked to was very pleasant and told me I could keep the decaf and she sent me out the pods I ordered. The website is a bit tricky to navigate, but I love the coffees, and I love that they are recyclable. They have a lot of good sales and deals, and if you sign up for their club you can be alerted when things go on sale. I have ordered a variety pack, and almost all of the flavors are good, even the lighter roasts (I usually prefer darker). They are a bit tricky to actually recycle, but it is worth the effort of peeling and emptying, etc. read more

There was not a single cup of coffee that I did not enjoy from variety pack of 80! The value of this coffee is superb but the taste is luxury. I live in Seattle where coffee and coffee shops create a lot of coffee snobs, which is totally fine because we know what we like, and I was so pleasantly taken back having my first cup (the level 3, Donut Shop). i have ordered from intelligentblends. about three times now, and each time i have been very happy with the quality and flavor of the coffees i have gotten. and the fact that the pods are recycling is just the icing on the cake. the one thing that might be a slight negative is the time it takes to receive the order it is just a bit over a week. but in my opinion it is well worth the wait. read more

The young lady running the shop, not only did a great job preparing the orders but she also was super welcoming and friendly. I like that she took the time to run down the list of what food items they had to offer. I opted for the toast I mentioned beforehand and it was great. It came on what they call a breakfast toast which I believe was a thick slice of brioche. The toast came with a thick layer of almond butter, freshly sliced bananas, honey, and a generous dusting of cinnamon. It was delicious and I loved that the bread underneath held up well and had a good toast on it. The cortado was very good, too. It was smooth and rich and came with the correct ratio of espresso to steamed milk. The coffee shop offers baked goods, locally baked breakfast empanadas, breakfast burritos and sandwiches, ready made fresh salads, and lunch sandwiches and paninis. There's plenty of parking. They offer inside and outside seating.

Immediately I felt welcomed by the friendly owner/barista who seemed like he took pride in his craft as he explained subtle adjustments he wanted to make long term to his recipe. I ordered the iced caramel latte with vanilla cold foam. I asked if he could make it just a little less sweet despite the ordering the sweetest sounding drink on the menu, he accommodated my request perfectly!! It was perfectly adjusted to still be moderately sweet but not overwhelming sweet with the coffee flavor still being the prominent flavor. There were other delicious winter seasonal drinks on the menu which I'm sure is also delicious and on rotation. I highly recommend this spot! Not to mention the free parking which is awesome. Support your local mom and pop shops!

I ordered the Aloha Latte, and it was smooth, flavorful, and the perfect pick-me-up. What really stood out was the staff--they were genuinely friendly and welcoming, with warm island-style hospitality that made my morning even better. If you're on campus, it's definitely worth skipping the vending machine coffee and treating yourself here.
