I took a couple of trips before writing this review and all I can say is WOW. For starters, their espresso is solid and consistent. The ambiance is killer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's very rare for a shop to have all three. I ordered four different drinks and two food items throughout the visits and was delighted by all of them. A cortado, blueberry pie matcha, pistachio cold brew, and strawberry shortcake latte. The menu is well crafted and filled with options for everyone. I tried a beef empanada and a bacon breakfast burrito. The burrito was a little small for the cost but still delicious nonetheless. Studying or working here is very calming with the warm lighting and greenery. I will definitely be back! read more

I really appreciate businesses that take customer feedback seriously rather than dismissing it. Their response was professional and shows they care about the customer experience. -- Paid 7.50 for an iced black sesame latte, tasted watered down and I didn't even finish it. Was excited to try it because it has so many good reviews, it's possible I got the wrong coffee and should've ordered something different. This place is so nice. The beautiful espresso machines, the wood accents, the plants, it's gorgeous inside. The barista was very friendly and helpful. I love that they ask your sweetness level when you order. I wanted to get my wife a pastry but they were sold out of pretty much everything. I sure they stay busy in the morning and I didn't get there until after 11. I ordered the Cinnamon Cardamom latte which was really good and cinnamon forward. Unfortunately I did not get any of the cardamom flavor which is what I was hoping for and why I ordered it. Either way it was a good latte and I will for sure be back to this place. Additionally I saw that since this place has to negotiate parking space with the other tenants they recommend parking your car on the street if you're planning on working/studying. Jaunt Coffee is easily one of my favorite coffee shops. I've been coming here for the past couple of years and it truly never disappoints. They have amazing coffee with a great variety of flavors, and their pastries are always on point. I also love that they bring in empanadas from a local spot , such a nice touch and perfect if you want something more filling. Since moving to a bigger location a few doors down, there's a ton of space both indoors and outdoors, which makes it a great place to hang out or get some work done. There's also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. It does get crowded and there's almost always a line, but it moves pretty efficiently and is definitely worth the wait. One of my favorite things about this place is their "pay it forward" wall with sticky notes, where people can pre-pay for drinks for others who might need it. Such a thoughtful and community-driven idea. The interior is super cute, they even have books for kids, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Overall, just an all-around amazing spot. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!! We visited this coffee shop because we wanted to try the Muse Cheesecakes by the slice so we can sample more flavors. That went amazing. The burnt basque cheesecakes--every single flavor--will make your mouth do a crazy happy dance. I'm over the moon that this coffee shop offers that option. But we're not here to talk about the cheesecakes. While we were waiting, I decided to try one of the drink specials they were offering that day. I got the Ube Latte with Salted Vanilla Cold Foam (and espresso). And let me tell you this--it's *the best* ube latte I've had thus far. And I've tried several different ones. It was so creamy and flavorful without it being too sweet. The ube was prominent but not too overwhelming, and the cold foam was super delish and made the drink a bit more decadent. I couldn't pass up the chance to let the barista know how much I loved the drink she made and I definitely need to sing praise for this coffee shop here because it deserves it! On top of that, the seating area was very chic, comfy and vibey. Somebody had recommended this roaster and we finally got the chance to stop by here on our way coming back from Anaheim to San Diego. Place is pretty hidden aways and not that close to main highways. It's located like in a warehouse section of the city. But wow when we got here the place was packed. Lots of parking and all the seating area full outside and inside. Their variety of coffees, teas and some specialty drinks was extensive. Ambiance was relaxed, cozy and buzzing with interesting coffee drinkers. There are tables and other type of seats. They did have food but are limited in their empanadas. They didn't have any left so I couldn't try one We ordered a regular latte and a Cinnamon Cardamon Latte with almond milk. Wow delicious this drink and the coffee bean quality excellent! We ended buying two bags of coffee beans to take home for our expresso machine. If you're ever experienced the Portland coffee culture, this is it (just in San Diego). seriously miss this place. Last came here in 2021...prior to them moving a couple spots over. Their drinks are consistent even though their staff has changed. The team were super lively and create a super welcoming environment. The banana cream foam cold brew was good! The foam provides light but natural banana flavors and the small toffee pieces are a great touch for texture and hints of additional sweetness. Generally anon sweet drink. Jaunt is one of my favorite coffee shops in San Diego. I used to work down the street and visited multiple times a week. I usually get a cappuccino or a cortado. It is always amazing. I sometimes pair it with an empanada if I'm feeling hungry. The service here is pretty great and they keep the line moving pretty fast. The new store is a lot more spacious than the last one. I bought an iced mocha and it was pretty good! The look inside here is also cute, and I appreciate them having AC on in summer. My only critiques are that the music was a little too loud and there is not enough seating. I could not believe how many people were here working on laptops; literally every chair except for 2 were taken from people working, and I took one of the last 2 chairs. The other thing I think they could benefit from is less TALL chairs and more normal/short chairs. The tall chairs are quite difficult to get onto for many (of course not all) people. Landed in the San Diego airport and was in need for some good coffee. Found Jaunt on Yelp and it was along my route so I stopped in. It's in a really cool warehouse area with with food and drink purveyors. There's a brewery, ice cream shop, bakery... super hip area. Lots of seating inside and some outdoor areas as well.
