Steer clear of this place. I don't know if the employees are just lazy or incompetent. I have an upgraded head unit installed but it has distorted sound because I knew it just needed an amp (which I have but don't know how to install) and new speakers (I hoped to purchase at establishment). Well the employee gives me some bs that he can't do it because the sound is distorted from a wiring issue and I should contact the manufacturer and request a replacement. This had me thinking that even if this was the case, why can't he just install the amp and speakers and if need be, I will replace the head unit later? So I took my business elsewhere-- Jazz Audio on Middle Country Road in Selden. It was much closer to home and I should've went there from the start as Intense Kustom Audio was really out the way but they offered low rates. So Jazz audio installs my amp, gave me a great deal on speakers, and Phil is an honest, awesome dude. All my needs were met at Jazz Audio and I will return there shortly for a subwoofer. read more

***** beware - beware - beware!!!!! ***** ... this place is a nightmare and jc is a lier and fraud! i brought my porsche carrera 911 c4s there and had a stereo system and radar detector installed and spent over $8,000.00 and jc, the owner installed the unit to my porsche's heating unit trying to preserve space and blew out my entire electrical system in my porsche that cost me over $15,000.00 to repair at porsche huntington. instead of guaranteeing his work and refunding me he argued and tried to blame the work on porsche when they had nothing to do with it. jc is negligent and he thinks he's getting away with this but now that my surgery is over and i am healed up and feeling much better now i am coming after this loser! ... jc does nothing but sit behind his wife and allows her to speak for his work when the work was not done correctly!! i once considered jc a friend and i brought him alot of repeat business for my vehicles but i would never come there again nor would i ever conduct business with this as***** -- this is business and i will not allow jc to think for one second that i am not coming for him so beware of this place it is not all cracked up to be what it is suppose to be because jc does not stand by his work. if he does something wrong he will not refund you but he thinks he can get away with keeping my money, he's got another thing coming ... i am also female and i guess jc thought i would not be able to come after him, but he's got another thing coming because i am coming and he can get ready to have his four (4) b.s. attorneys waiting because i have the best attorney in the state of new york and jc will see when he is served. additional internet complaints will follow as well as contact to the attorney general of new york, the better business bureau, consumer financial protection and the federal trade commission so please buyer's beware jc is no where near what he is suppose to be and his work is not proficient!!! he will not refund you or work with you when he blows out your electrical system!!!! .... i am coming for this lunatic and that's for damn sure!! read more

Worst customer experience ever and Owner JC will literally lie and try to scam you infront of your face, also never open on time. Been there multiple times, first time I went I had a system installed into my 2012 maxima everything went accordingly to plan, install was done even tho a shitty job which ran a high risk of fire, everything worked fine. Second time I referred my friend who bought all head unit parts himself for his 2010 camaro, owner JC literally stole an aux input cable which was included in the manufacturer sealed box and tried sell it back to him. Third time I had taken my subs (just pulling speaker wires from subs not actual amp or other wiring) out for a few days while I needed trunk space and put back in which picked up a sound from the exhaust and didnt work properly, brought back to the shop under their "Lifetime Policy", owner JC refused to work on it even tho I provided my original receipt, eventually he did look at it after standing around for an hour while no other customers were there and 2-3 guys in the shop with their thumbs up their ass. His diagnosis was that the amp was blown and I had to buy a completely new one. At the end of the day I decided to get a second opinion, went to Jazz Audio in selden who found out that it was just a bad ground from shitty wiring job from Intense Kustom Audio and did it for FREE, while not even their customer. Jazz Audio will forever have my business!!! read more
