Central Sight and Sound was a wonderful group of people to work with, they are professional and talented folks who work here, and I've been very happy with the process for getting my Bronco upgraded. First, I find the Yelp page seeing other great reviews, some of the best ones around the area, and with due merit. So I decide to go to the store to get an idea of what we can do. Come in the store, and speak with Joe. He's very friendly and professional, knowledgable about the products in the store, and was great to work with regarding my budget, the sound I was looking for, what packages were available, his recommendations, and also a few other mods I wanted to get done. I was interested in adding a light-bar to the roof-rack, so we chatted about it for a bit, and he suggested Rough Country, which was affordable compared to other light bars, and looked great, he said they could install it if I were to purchase and bring over to them, sure, no problem. The package included were speakers in the front and back, tweeters, a down-firing 10inch Sub, Amp, Knobs, Wires, and other equipment. I wanted to check out the equipment before install, and then take factory speakers home with me, also, no problem. In email communication you speak with everyone, Rich, Mike, Joe, and whomever else works there, it seems it's a community email and they are all on the same page with what the customers are looking for, so they are aware of any changes, mods, or interests the customers are looking to get done. The job itself took about 1.5 days, drop off Thursday morning, Pickup Friday night, and they were very busy with people coming in with crazy cars, high class cars like Roadsters, Mclarens, and others. I felt more comfortable seeing extremely expensive cars being worked on while I was there, knowing that these folks trust Central Sight and Sound with their cars, and I do as well. When I came for pickup the car was ready, Joe went over all the additions with me, showed me where buttons were installed, amp, and other equipment lived, and I had some questions he answered for me. I had called to inquire about prices and Rich with his amazing Knowledge broke everything down to the tee, from the different types of remotes, the distances each remote can and can not do and even apps to have for certain ones! I was given an electric car start from this business for the holidays from my parents. All the equipment was given to me and a certificate with a voucher number. All I had to do was call and make an appointment to bring my car in. Making an appointment was a breeze. I called, and made an appointment in under two minutes. They allowed me to drop my car off overnight so it could be worked on the next morning. I got a call the next morning at around 930 am that my car was ready for pick up! When I went to pick up my car everything was explained to me on how it works. I was given two remotes. My electric car start is amazing on cold winter mornings. Have a 2002 CRV with an old remote start that had an issue. I first went to a different shop close to my home on Deer Park Avenue (North Babylon) and they wanted a lot of $$$$ just to diagnose. So I went to Central S&S and the owner Rich was helpful and professional in laying out what the problem could be and the cost. I would give more stars if I could. They were professional, honest and trustworthy. I received a Groupon gift certificate but knew I didn't want to use it for the car that I owned at the time. They were so great and said, "don't worry we will honor the price". Maybe two years later (long after groupon expired) I brought a different car in and they honored the price! They did a great job but I began having battery issues with my car. Before I brought the car to the servicing dealer I called Central Sight and Sound. They said to bring the car in, they tested it, adjusted it, and fixed the issue while we waited, no charge. I never had a remote start before. I love it and highly recommend them! read more

I felt compelled to share my experience with Rich Lupo at Central Sight and Sound. Being in the sales realm, people are always so quick to share negative experiences, but not many go out of their way to share positive ones. Somehow I dealt with the abysmal factory radio in my 2012 2 door JK for the last 4 years and said every year that I was going to upgrade it. I finally bit the bullet before the summer and decided to change everything out. I can honestly say that I've never dealt with such knowledgeable, professional and helpful people in business, not to mention patient! Originally he replaced the head unit, added an amplifier for the interiors and replaced all of the interiors with Kicker components. While it sounded great, apparently a 2 door Wrangler with the soft top isn't the best "sound stage" and I wanted something a little more. Having to deal with my OCD ass, without hesitation, Rich took my Jeep back in, upgraded the head unit again and added a sub and second amplifier. All in all, the whole system sounds absolutely amazing, gives me exactly the sound I was looking for and then some. The highs and mids are incredibly loud and clear even with the top down on the highway and the sub added the punch it needed. I'm admittedly unreasonably particular when it comes to working on my Jeep and Rich and the crew at Central Sight and Sound made the entire process and experience amazing! I called to find out exactly what was included in the price, they gave me all the details over the phone. I scheduled my appointment for a Saturday. Walked in the place, they explained everything to me & they gave me a 5-6 hour window on when it would be complete. I dropped the car off & in about 2 hours they called me to tell me it was ready! A breath of fresh air to deal with professionals. I made an appt with them about 2 weeks out. They called a week earlier saying that they had a cancellation and were available(unfortunately I was not so I had to keep my original appt.) Dropped my car off at 9am and knew that it would be awhile I was expecting a finish time of around 2pm. Those guys love you if you do buy all equipment from them to be able to over-charge you. They hate you if you bought radio or amplifier by yourself.and bring them for installation. I came for estimates and was told all kind of BS cost me a $1000's. They did want to replace all speakers in my Mercedes S430 !!! :) They are in a business to make a business by taken advantage of vehicle owners with audio problems who need a help! Went to different place and got all connected for $200 If you have extra money to spend - go for it, but I personally wouldn't trust them at all. Think about this: how reputable business would dirty-talk about competitors just to convince you? Here's what took this from ordinary customer satisfaction to real customer delight: After the installation, I had some relatively small issues, things I probably could have lived with.
