I have been here twice in the past couple of years for repair work. Once, I lost files on my…read morecomputer but I knew they were stored somewhere on a portable USB drive. While it wasn't exactly cheap, they restored all of the files on the USB drive including the ones I had lost on my computer. That was great. Also, last year our computer was acting up and running slow so I brought it here. They did a scan of the hard drives and reformatted parts of the storage so that we had more free space (so our computer wouldn't crash every time we needed to do something) and removed some programs we didn't need (after consulting with us first). Again, great work!

I messaged them on a weekend when they were aready closed about my daughter's cracked macbook screen, Byrom got back to me right away telling me he would be happy to make the repair. I paid for the screen the next day, dropped off the computer Monday, and picked it up Tuesday. It was like new. They charged approximately half the price other places had quoted. They even said that if the problem was more than just a screen replacement, they would fix it with no extra charge. I highly recommend them.

I have had many interactions with this organization in my career ranging from "OK" to simply "unprofessional." The day-to-day employees do a pretty good job, however the leadership leaves a great deal to be desired. Firstly, even if you have credentials and experience, they will talk down to you. Compuworks management will try to convince you to do it "their way," even when presented with evidence that their way is wrong. "Their way" usually involves them taking more control of your infrastructure as they position themselves so that you have no choice but to continue as a customer. Another issue experienced regularly is they sometimes provide services when none were asked for and bill you for it. Management would explain they were being proactive, however truly proactive measures would not be implemented unless asked about. This type of selective prevention comes across as suspicious and informs my previous point. With today's technology you do not need to choose a MSP just because they are local and in your zip code. Choose a company that will give the respect a customer deserves and not lip service so that you can keep getting billed. A fish rots from the head down, and this company stinks.
