I got my shades! Turned out the factory had run out of fabric, which was beyond Daniel's control and the reason for the long delay. I would have been grateful for this explanation early on and would certainly have understood. But here's the important thing: the shades are beautifully made, and Daniel installed them with great attention to detail. Donna was great at showing me all of the different shades and her son Daniel was the best. He's a young guy with Old School work ethics. I also talked to Bob, Daniel's dad when I called to reconfirm the installation appointment. Daniel personally came out and installed my shades last week and they look great. While at my residence, he noticed that my fridge was in my dining room, due to the movers who had delivered my belongings, the same day, and weren't able to get it into the kitchen and just left my fridge sitting in my dining room. Unbelievable. Although Daniel was there to install my shades, he was willing to help me out with the fridge and came back, a few days later, and took the doors off the fridge and got it into the kitchen space. He never even asked for a dime for his time. I was beyond happy to have my fridge in its proper place! As good as it gets sums it up. Daniel is very conscientious and gets things done correctly. He installed a new vinyl plank floor to replace the oak hardwood hallway that the cats had ruined. After reading all the positive reviews and comparing with other shops in the area, I decided to visit Interior Coverings for blinds and shades for our house during summer 2015. Daniel assisted us throughout the entire process and was very knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and efficient. I was really impressed with the quality of the product we could get for the price at this business. Several other places in Pasadena tried to upsell on various shades way beyond our budget, but Daniel shared all the possible options within our price range and consistent with the style we wanted from the beginning, and tried to get us the best deal possible. Ultimately we got a great package on a combination of blinds and shades for about 14 windows. I also appreciated that the time for measurements, installation, and labor was included in the price. The installation went very well and the blinds and shades look great; we are very happy with them. When a few months later an issue came up with the shades not closing all the way down on a few windows, Daniel came back and quickly identified the problem, contacted the manufacturer, got a replacement shipped, and took care of the installation without charge. He made his suggestions and I decided to go a little bit darker as to match the floor. He then went around and measured -- and that was what impressed me the most about him.
