An old coworker of mine used to RAVE about the Bronx zoo, and he was not lyin. We saw everything, including but not limited to giraffes, rhinos, gorillas, camels, tigers, sea lions, aardvarks, lions, a peacock, etc. All those were rad, but seeing an Okapi truly altered my brain chemistry. I didn't even know an Okapi existed, and am still not fully convinced they do. It was a half zebra, half giraffe, and half horse hybrid. One cannot help but make the comparison to ManBearPig. It really got me wondering. If I didn't even know Zebraffehorse existed, what else don't I know about the world? Sometimes we get stuck in routines and being trapped in this bubble inflates our egos to the point where we think we understand everything. I walked past tanks that had dead fish and dying fish and the live fish in the tanks were eating the dead fish. It was awful and I think that they should be called out for this. If they want to sell fish for the prices that they're charging, they better have clean tanks and at least have healthy fish. This place was disgusting..

I went into the store about two weeks ago…read moreshowing him a picture that my goldfish were hanging out on the bottom of the tank and had this white stuff on them so I assumed it was ick , but Jerry told me that it looks like my pH was too low. So he gave me these rocks or gravel in a bag to put into my filter and told me to do 1/3 of a water change and then put the rocks in and within 30 seconds my fish was swimming around as happy as can be!!!!
