The couch and love seat in my house were -- putting it mildly -- pretty beaten up by the attentions of a generation of people and several generations of felines. I could have replaced them with new ones, but the design of these two pieces is suited perfectly to the design of the house and I knew that I wouldn't be able to find new ones that would fit the room so well. The couch and love seat both have a lot of exposed wood, which needed attention as much as the upholstery did after years of use ... by people and cats both. No amount of handwaving and slick talk will convince me that they need that much time in labor and no parts. The time it would have taken them was 8 days - everywhere else was 2-4 days. I had my car taken apart, cleaned, dried, and detailed and out back together to a very high standard for less time and money. This is just a word or warning - shop around. When they quote you without even looking through an open door, that's when you know they have too much work to give you a fair shake. Sure was a pretty building though!
