Sooo it's 2024 and we decided to get the 4 1/2"shutters in the rest of the house. We got the first 3.5" shutters in the bedroom and bathroom back in 2018. After finally getting "new construction" windows installed, we decided to go with larger 4 1/2" shutters. We were so nervous because not many people get that size, but we decided to go for it and boy do we love them! Everyone that comes over says our home has a "beachy vibe" with the large shutters. They look so nice with our painless windows! We only had one issue with the 2018 shutters in the bathroom rusting. ISD said to order the waterproof replacement would run us $650 for a small window but that seems a bit too much. ISD brought a new rustless magnet and made it look a lot better. Overall we are very happy with the way the new large shutters turned out, and happy with how the older 3 1/2" held up in the bedroom. read more

We have a projector put in our addition but that area is almost all glass. We had a friend who used interior style designs and referred them to us. So goad he did because they are so awesome. Jennifer the office administrator/ scheduler (she may be the owner I'm not sure) is so sweet. She answers via phone or text which is helpful to have both options. She gets you all set up with Doug the field technician. He is punctual and such a sweet guy. We have used them for the past 3 years on various things from automatic shades to door windows to restroom windows. We remodeled in three phases and after each phase we needed a set of blinds. They got us on the schedule right away for measurements and once product was in they installed right away. Top quality custom blinds and shades that really enhance the space. I highly recommend Liberty Home Products for outdoor shades. I just finished building a large outdoor pavilion in my backyard and needed motorized rolling shades. I had 3 different companies visit my residence to share their offerings, receive recommendations, and obtain quotes. One was low-priced, but after their visit, left me with no confidence in their knowledge and abilities. I met Josh and his wife, Jessica, last year by chance at a Thanksgiving gathering. I noticed all the beautiful white (poly wood) blinds around the inside of this house and they said they had done the job. I said that I wanted blinds just like the ones I saw. Even though their company is based in Orange County and I live all the way out in the Antelope Valley, they made special accommodations to install my custom ordered blinds. It did take two or three months to get my order in, but they were installed by Josh within a matter of hours. I met up with several companies but Jessica stood out from the rest. She was patient, kind, honest, friendly and knowledgeable. ISD was priced competitively. In fact, with the chosen shades, I saved hundred of dollars going with ISD. Jessica and her team stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process. ISD customer service was excellent!. The turn around time was fast! Josh, was my installer. He's friendly, kind, honest and a total perfectionist! He replaced a couple of the shades because it had a slight discoloration or a minor ripple. It didn't bother me but it bothered Josh. They completely dropped the ball and have left me hanging. My job was $50,000 for roller shades with motors installed. My house was under construction so they did the install and I paid them without examining the work because the blinds needed to be integrated with my home automation system to work. When my AV guy went to do it he said that Interior Style Designs, (Josh) was suppose to give me the part to intertwine it with my AV system. Called Josh and he said sorry, I cant help you. Like he just didn't have time. Obviously I paid them their 50k already so he just didn't care) so I had to pay another blinds company to come out and get system working. Now I get the shades lowered and there are huge gaps in between shades. I call Josh and his wife and texted them and no return call or text. I remember him specifically telling me I would have a one inch gap. Its a four inch gap. I wrote a negative review as a last ditch effort urging them to please come just adjust my blinds. We moved in and the gap was shooting sunlight directly on to my bed. Josh texted me back and said no we are not helping you because of your review. Don't let their good reviews fool you, they are too busy right now to service their customers. Do not use them for any high end jobs like I did. Needed to replace a few tattered blinds in my new townhome so contacted Interior Style Designs for their services. I actually googled "Blinds Orange County" and came across their website. After a few days of no response they finally called me back and we scheduled an appointment to meet. They were a husband and wife team out in Long Beach but they used to live in Irvine so they know this area quite well. I'm not sure if they have an actual office because now I'm noticing that nowhere on their business card, receipt, or website mentions an actual office address of any sort - perhaps working out of their home to save overhead costs? You never know with this economy. They were professional and super friendly though. They offer all sorts of blinds, shades, and wood shutters that they get from Hunter Douglass and they brought over a ton of samples for me to view. My only problem with them is just that they seem to be a little bit hard to get a hold of - my blinds are finally getting installed tomorrow so we'll see how the final result turns out. read more

We bought a new construction home and needed window treatments for all of our windows (26 windows total). Jessica worked with us to order what we needed, and even came out three times to give us accurate estimates, verify the order, and measure all the windows. She was prompt about responding to any and all emails or phone calls, and professional and patient with my indecisiveness throughout the entire process. Her husband Josh installed all of our windows and worked efficiently with his partner, getting the job done even more quickly than the time estimated. Our shutters, blinds, roman shades, and drapes look perfect and my husband and I are very happy with the quality of workmanship. If we had done window treatments through our builder, it would have cost us close to $12,000. Compared to that, $7700 was a bargain, especially for the quality of product, professionalism, promptness, and workmanship. I highly recommend ISD and would definitely call them for any other window treatments we may need, though I don't think we will need any new window treatments because I anticipate that their product will last for years to come. read more

Jessica was a pleasure to work with and was extremely helpful in making suggestions regarding product and color choices. Her husband Josh and their neighbor Doug do the installations and are great at what they do. We had a small issue with one of our shutter installations (our fault regarding missing a wood trim piece) and Doug talked us through it and waited patiently while my husband ran to Lowes to locate the missing piece. Doug then installed that missing window trim without hesitation and finished the shutter install. It was definitely appreciated. I used Yelp to find Interior Style Designs for a big installation on my new home in Redondo Beach. We had about 14 windows we needed done- a mixture of shutters of blinds. I did my due diligence and called on 3 different companies to compare rates and quality. Jessica came to my house and listened to what I wanted and she proceeded to show me the items that would fit into my budget. I just loved the look, quality and style of the shutters she showed me. We ended up with gorgeous Norman shutters and Hunter Douglas wood blinds. There are about 500 million emails between Jessica and I, and she's always responsive in returning phone calls and emails. That is VERY important to me. So businesses out there miss this mark in communication, and this was not the case with ISD. This is a family business, so Doug their neighbor does the install work, and he is amazing. There was a 5 window bay area in my bedroom that he spent over 2 hours on! He wanted to make absolutley sure they were all even, and they looked absolutley gorgeous when he was finished. He did all 14 windows in a days work. He stayed late to make sure we got everything in.
