After finally getting "new construction" windows installed, we decided to go with larger 4 1/2" shutters. We were so nervous because not many people get that size, but we decided to go for it and boy do we love them! Everyone that comes over says our home has a "beachy vibe" with the large shutters. They look so nice with our painless windows! We only had one issue with the 2018 shutters in the bathroom rusting. ISD said to order the waterproof replacement would run us $650 for a small window but that seems a bit too much. ISD brought a new rustless magnet and made it look a lot better. Overall we are very happy with the way the new large shutters turned out, and happy with how the older 3 1/2" held up in the bedroom.

Creative window coverings is one of only 3 listed Norman brand contractors in orange County, from the Norman brand website. And I wanted Norman brand specifically with the invisible tilt to match the shutters that were already there. I got quotes from all 3 people (window design group, budget blinds, and creative window coverings). I'll just say the other 2 companies were way more expensive. My cousin used to work in the window/shutter industry and he said creative window coverings price was fair, and the other companies essentially ripping me off profit wise. Creative window coverings sent Rai out to my home. He was very straightforward, honest, and gave me a lot of options and things to think about. Very knowledgeable. The other companies, one guy was in and out and didn't explain anything to me (tilt options, waterproof options for bathroom, how many panels I could choose, etc) and the other felt way too much of a sales pitch. I liked Rai the most. I went forward. Paid half the deposit. Paid the other half after the job was done. Installation was trouble free, easy, and no headaches. My house is a mess right now and they were able to still do their thing no problem. Had a great experience. Knowledgeable, friendly, very competitive and fair pricing, and I felt trustworthy that I wasn't getting ripped off and taken advantage of. Love my shutters. We were able to salvage some of the shutters but not in 2 of the bedrooms (the window opening was cut too long to reuse the old shutters). I called two places to get quotes. Shutters by Rae was substantially cheaper. Donna (the owner) is really friendly and nice. Easy to talk to. Very responsive. She had our quote within a couple of hours after coming over. She has two ordering options. Overseas; which takes a bit of time (obviously) but she also has a local option where they are made right here in Long Beach!! We opted for the latter as I was eager to get our house back in order after being in disarray for several months due to construction. Locally made takes about 2 weeks; ours were ready in less than 2 weeks! The local option did cost a tad bit more but nothing huge in my opinion. If I were doing a big house with several windows I'm sure I would go with the overseas option, but for our 4 windows it was worth it to me to pay the small amount more to have them weeks sooner. The installation process was quick and efficient. They were done and gone within an hour. There is a fantastic warranty on them too. I HIGHLY recommend this business for your shutter needs.

We have recently remodeled parts of our home, and was directed to Mr. Miniblind to install shutters upon recommendation by a friend. First, to our surprise, the installers were the owner and his son. Second they were very customer service oriented - this was stunning since that attribute (it has been our experience) is sorely lacking in the many small businesses here that compete for your dollar. From the beginning, they were very professional in assessing our shutter needs, exact measurements, and budget pricing. The shutters themselves are of very high quality and durable. Also, the installations were based on a timetable that was very convenient for us. Once install, they provided each room with a new and very attractive look. We were so delighted with these folks that since May of this year, we have installed eight shutters (from very large to medium sized) and are planning to install at least a few more. I sincerely believe you cannot get better service, or price - with the quality of shutters they provide - and we "highly" recommend them to all those who need their services. read more

This Company is Awesome! I called in on a Monday and had a call scheduled for the next day. Steve came out on time. He was very professional and answered any questions I had. He was very knowledgeable with all of his products and was very patient with me. I was going back and forth between Shutters and Fauxwood and he was able to show me the samples of each and the different qualities of each product. I ended up going with the Vinyl Shutters and couldn't be more happier with my decision. The shutters were installed within the time frame I was given and they are amazing! I purchased several different blinds/shades from Mr. Miniblind and I am extremely pleased with them. Charlie helped me pick out my blinds for my sliding glass door, and he even cut several of them down to size to accommodate my doggie door! I also purchased a honeycomb shade for my kitchen window and a cord-free honeycomb for my side door, which I love! The Shade Store was so unhelpful and unresponsive, so I started reaching out to places on Yelp. Precision Window Treatments responded very quickly and had the motor I needed in stock (and if I wanted the newer one, they would have still gotten it quickly). I had an appointment scheduled with a clear quote. Everything was SO quick, easy and efficient. They arrived today (side note, was a complete gentleman and brought in packages that were on my porch) and got right to work. He actually had the motor replaced within minutes, made sure everything worked, programmed it to my remote and even ensured that it was recognizing it and working on my app before leaving. The guy who installed them was efficient and super clean. It took about 5 hours for him to mount all of the roller shades we got, and everything looks perfect! I got quotes from a couple other companies, and while Sunburst was about the same price as the other places, I ultimately chose them because I liked Kimball better than the other people I met with. His personality and communication with me is what sealed the deal.
