I was immediately greeted by Jamie and asked to fill out paperwork turned it in at approximately 10:55am and played the waiting game. Got seen at around 11:15am not to bad turns out they had an unexpected visitor that had a broken tooth that put them back alittle behind schedule. However I been to maybe 40-50 dentist in my lifetime and NEVER once had the actual dentist clean my teeth it's like going to a company and meeting the CEO directly. It was exhausting! When I saw that this office was less than 10mins from my house I crossed my fingers! Our initial consultation was very direct and straight to the point, which I really appreciate. Dr Brett explained all of our options thoroughly, and left me (and my kid) feeling really confident in the next steps. Our first appointment went great, with a few fillings but we were home within an hour. Our second appointment today was quicker and easier! I can't say enough good things about Dr Brett right now. The front staff was so friendly but I wish I could say the same for the dentist I saw. I came in with a very specific concern only to be brushed off multiple times and offered no real solution. He never introduced himself, didn't take a look at my X-rays until after the exam when I tried to bring up my concerns (the assistant even asked if he had seen them yet when he came in so early and he just gave a very abrupt "no," which she nervously laughed off), and barely gave me room for questions afterwards because he kept trying to walk off! The place was practically empty yet the appointment felt very rushed like he just wanted to get it over with. I left feeling very frustrated and dismissed. Dr. Hibbard is very gentle, and highly intelligent. Perfect qualities for a general practitioner. Wendy Midgely is the PA, and it's the first time I've ever felt like a PA is MD caliber. I never feel "punished" if I can't book an appointment with Dr. Hibbard, & have to see Wendy instead. Wendy is so funny! I always get a laugh out of visiting with her. But that woman knows her stuff too. I have confidence that either lady in the office will diagnose me correctly. My husband also practices in the medical field. He is the one that referred me to Farmington Family Medicine. Dr. Hibbard is the MD that treats my husband too. Dr. Hibbard isn't a doctor exclusively for the fairer gender! The only downside to the practice is the office personnel. The employee at the front desk, that makes the appointments & checks patients in, always seems to change. But the employee that does the billing, and also interacts with patients is an ornery person! She isn't friendly, and I dislike interacting with her. Fortunately, once I make it past the front desk, I have access to great medical practitioners.
