I thought Tod did a good job at first and pricing was reasonable, but he was supposed to file my amended return in late January/early February and never did according to both state and federal offices. I patiently waited for weeks and never received a refund or notification they had been received. I had to file the state return myself this morning and am scrambling to figure out a way to send in the federal, because Tod and internal income are not responding to my emails or calls. Would not recommend as they have poor customer service, and apparently I paid them for them to not do what they were supposed to. I will be filing a complaint with the IRS since they charged me for filing the amended return and never did. read more

What a great place to get your taxes done! Tod and his team truly made the process less TAXING. (huehuehuehue) I'm a non resident and so, I'm extra careful when I'm getting my taxes done. Tod explained every form and every field that he was filling out and made the process as interactive and educational as possible. We went in after calling and checking and got our taxes done within half an hour. Tod was very clear with his explanation and is very friendly as well! He gave me a book which "birth flowers" and personality traits to read while he printed and organized my returns. That was really nice touch! :) For $80 for H1B holders, and $50 for F1 holders, it's a steal. read more

It was time for me to find a new tax accountant, and of course, I found him after reading some reviews on Yelp. :) Internal Income is located on Taylor St. right in the Little Italy neighborhood. If I were you, grab some breakfast or brunch when you get your taxes done here because there are 3 breakfast places within minutes of Internal Income or grab some pasta! Ok, so parking was pretty easy for me, but there is street parking all around for $2/Hr and can get tricky because if you are not paying for parking, you will need a parking permit to park anywhere else. I was blessed to find a spot right in front. I had called a couple days in advance to make an appointment, Mr. Tod answered and he was very helpful and friendly over the phone. I came to his office on a Friday morning and was in and out of there in about an hour. Both Mr. Tod and his son, who works with him, were so nice. when it came down to the process, Mr. Tod was extremely informative throughout it all and I really appreciated that he had turned the computer monitor to let me see everything he was typing. And while I was waiting for him to finish it all up, he brought out a "book of flowers" and asked me to look up the flower that corresponds to my birth-date and to read what it says about it. Such a unique book. LOVE! I had a great time in there; good service, good conversations, and with good people. Taxes were done, they were done well and he did not charge me an arm and a leg like most CPAs. I will definitely be seeing him next year. Thank you Mr. Tod!!!! :) read more

I don't know why I haven't done this review in years. Years ago I was having problems with my taxes when I used to do it myself. My friend mentioned internal income to me so I called to ask if someone would be willing to take a look at my taxes and tell me what is wrong with it. Todd went over my taxes with me over the phone. He didn't rush me and didn't asked me for payment. He was just simply helping. Ever since then, I started taking my taxes to his office and his son Quincy would prepare my taxes. Quincy is just as nice and professional as his father. They are efficient partners, accurate friendly, kind, humble people. Quincy answers my questions all year long and provide helpful advices on my taxes. There were times when I emailed him mid year to have him check my taxes. He's always willing to help. I didn't want to go to a chain or franchise to get my taxes done. Was referred Internal Income Inc. by my bookkeeper. They handled my filing in a relaxed and professional manner. I don't know why anyone would do their own taxes. I say leave it to the professionals. read more

Never Again. This is the worst experience that I am going through right now. They messed up mine and several of my associates' taxes! They created issues for us that now we are fighting directly with the IRS and their Identity Theft Department. They mixed up social security numbers and erroneously processed amended returns that now need addtional amendment. NEVER AGAIN....and I'll be kind enough not to name names! read more
