Spark plugs Ignition coils Here is the story. I bought a car on October 31st 2019 and when I bought the the sales person Matthew was super nice and awesome I bought a 2013 Hyundai volester turbo. I payed 5,000 down and When I brought the vehicle I didn't buy any insurance cause that isn't what I afford but I read the contract I was signing and it stated that there is a warranty for the vehicle for power train for I believe 90 days. Here is the start. Not even a week later about 5 days only 3 business days on Monday November 4th 2019 my check engine light came on and knowing person that work on dealerships they should check these things but I was extremely angry. My engine had a misfire in the 2nd and 4th cylinders and I check the codes as well as brought it in and the car only had about 46,000 miles and it was the spark plugs and the ignition coils are bad. The spark plugs help power the car and it misfires and I don't want it to damage the engine any further. I take it in the shop and I tell them I just brought the car and the check engine light came on and literally I show them and read them the contract and they said the spark plugs and coils are not covered under the power train even though it gives power towards the engine and helps it run. I just brought this car not even a week and the check singling light comes on which they should of checked the plugs to see if everything f was good and passed emissions they say they were gonna charge me $900 just for the plugs and coils and I haven't even had the car a week it's like it was a joke I've already put so much money down and they expect me to fix something that isn't even my fault. I refuse and I have the receipts for everything and I brought my plugs which was $30 and the coils. Which was $123 we put the plugs in my car because we got them from autozone but we didn't put the coils in because I had to order them cause they were cheaper online I don't get them till Tuesday. It was ridiculous and keep in mind when I called to ask for help they said I have to talk to Hyundai even though I got it at Volvo and then they said I gotta talk to the advisor and the advisor said I have to talk to the sales guy why would I have to talk to him if I need service. I have the bad plugs but they were fried completely burnt all 4 I checked the filter system and it was filthy and I had to put a new one in there because if I kept This in the car it would cause more problems with my engine. It just hurts having a car I love have an engine light go on not even a week after buying it and saying oh we aren't gonna do anything to it. These things are the things they should check cause if I didn't it would cause more issues and more money. YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO CHECK THESE THINGS BEFORE A CAR LEAVES A LOT IM NOT STUPID I KNOW PEOPLE THAT WORK AT DEALERSHIPS

There is a lack of communication between the staff and customer, calls for updates on service don't get returned, repairs aren't inspected by management after mechanic completes the repair. I found my battery cover in the back seat. The engine cover was missing. Apparently the mechanic locked it up in the shop. I am going to have my Jeep serviced at Brach's Auto Center, a family owned repair shop where the repairs are inspected from upper management after completion.

My car sat at the dealership for over a week and a half without being looked at or diagnosed. I understand that service departments can be very busy and that vehicles brought in by tow may take additional time to be seen. However, after waiting that long with no progress, I called to have my vehicle towed to another dealership. When I spoke with the service manager to arrange the tow, I was then told that my vehicle would be looked at that same day. Unfortunately, that was very different from what I had been told previously and only came up once I decided to move my vehicle elsewhere. Better communication and more realistic expectations for turnaround times--especially for towed vehicles--would greatly improve the customer experience.

My consultant was Patrick Coleman, and the Area Car Sales Manager was Mahesh Varad. Both gentlemen really went the extra mile in assisting me in this purchase. The dealership is on 159th Street and closer to LaGrange Road than to Harlem Avenue. They are on the south side of the street and have two entrances/exits into and out of the dealership. I believe it may have been a former Hertz dealership but I cannot confirm this. Enterprise Car Sales is recommended.

I wasn't sure I wanted to go with a Hyundai. I was sad & felt rushed into needing a car seeing that they knew were were in an accident of no fault of ours. I needed to think if this was my only option & of course I didn't want another car payment seeing that I was almost done with the Rogue. Well I was disappointed a couple weeks later that we just noticed & they did not disclose that the back window was replaced. We noticed glass broken on the inside of the back where the door closes. We checked the window the back lights & nothing broke. You can hear the glass as we open & close the back still inside. I called talked to the manager again expressing my upset. I understand that they only are concerned with motor & transmission. That is difficult not to miss though. Sad thing is I noticed the front windshield had a crack in it while there before the buying & manager was like oh go show her as I was reading the carfax report.vThey apparently filled that in. The manager was then he was like oh that is all cosmetic & to put my ipass in that area. Mind you it was down a bit from where that would go. I felt as if this was a brush off. I contacted them today & talk to the manager so hopefully this week i can get it cleaned out & vacuumed. I would have stopped in today but having PTSD from the other accident & didn't hear back right away I wanted to go home. Pictures coming.

2013 Lexus RX350 brought in to dealer to diagnose & fix ABS malfunction warning light…read more I would like to start out by saying Efren is a great service POC in the service department, he is honest, fair and straight forward. I would recommend him as your service POC if you need to go to the dealership. Since we have an older Lexus, we typically have maintenance performed with a trusted local mechanic but he went as far as he could & recommended we go to the dealer to handle it. After we get it to the dealer, the initial diagnosis did not fix the problem but cost $1100 ($408 part + $700 labor). 2-1/2 weeks later car is ready and we have the initial diagnosis/fix down to $600 so I asked to speak to the service manager, about bringing the cost down to $408(cost of part) or lower. I felt it was unfair to pay for something that didn't fix the problem, but was willing to pay for the part since it was already on the car. Plus, after that repair was done, we updated our mechanic & found out he had explored the possibility of the same part needing replacement prior to referring us to the dealer but when he inspected it there was nothing wrong with it. He also had pictures of it to show me that nothing was wrong with it. So I speak to Joe, the service manager about the final bill but he felt he had already handled it by splitting the labor with us. He spoke very condescending to me, probably because I started the call with asking exactly how the repair that fixed the problem was done because our mechanic asked me this (ended up being a break in the wire). I never got around to even explaining that to him because he was so defensive on the call and patted himself on the back several times because he knocked off some of the labor cost and fixed problems for free that the mechanic caused during the wire diagnosis & repair-according to him he did us the favor because the car has 150k miles on it & problems were probably already existent but just hadn't presented themselves yet. At the end of the call he told me that our call would've gone another direction if it wasn't Friday, but he didn't want to get ugly on a Friday! I sincerely hope you never need to escalate an issue at this dealership to Joe, the service manager because he will not be reasonableabout it. His customer service and the way he handled my situation was very unprofessional. My total bill ended up being over $1400 and the repair that actually fixed the car was $750. I feel this is wrong but since Joe, the service manager disagreed we were left with paying for his crews initial misdiagnosis because that's what his maintenance guy thought it was. It's also important to note that if Joe had come down $200 and had not represented the dealership this way, this could have been a five star review.
