Coupled w "we recently rebranded, we were We're Nuts, but decided we should let people know we offer more. We still sell our nuts. I countered w "yes, id seen the Nuts! I was gonna say: ive driven by 100s of times & never noticed but yes i did see the Nuts sign. Just a cute little place buy they carry a lot of items. I came by for the $1.00 salad mixes. Didnt pay attention & noticed on my drive home they were Tsylor Farms....explains the $1 sale. I also picked up an orange chicken for $5 that I've purchased elsewhere for nearly $10.00. They had microwave meals, ice cream, pizza, pop, breakfast sandwiches * other items. They also carried a selection of hygeine items; from shampoos, lotions, to deodorants. Great little place w easy street parking. Stop on by!

When I say I would have purchased ALL the bags of these fabulous things, I mean it. I didn't realize they shared the same space with Saint Paul Discount Grocery store which I heard about sometime ago, so perfect day to check them both out. It was a one stop shop! It ended up being a little adventure just browsing around. There's a section right when you walk in dedicated to We Are Nuts items and the grocery store side offers lots of items from frozen to cereal to canned items to refrigerated items (to name a few). It wasn't busy so it was nice to be able to freely browse around. I thought prices were affordable, shelves were stocked, and I left with a few items. What really stood out to me was the incredible customer service I received on Saturday, 1/17/26. Both ladies were very nice and kind. Bridgett was especially personable and went the extra mile simply just letting me know how everything worked here while stocking the shelves and even asked how I was doing. The genuine level of customer service really made me feel valued and didn't go unnoticed. Looking forward to future visits.

Let me preface this review by saying that I used to love this store! I shopped here all the time!…read more But it just seems more and more there are little things adding up to big dissatisfaction. The new carts are a nightmare already! One had a sharp piece of metal sticking out so a small child could cut themselves or clothing would be ruined on it. I told the checkout employee and he just said, "Yeah, there's nothing but trouble with these new carts." But he made no move to try to solve the problem. So I brought it to another employee who was working near self check out (maybe manager). He didn't even pay attention to where the issue was. He just told another employee to "put it in the back with the other problem carts." I'm like, you might want to put a piece of tape on it and a description of the problem. They're not gonna know what's wrong with it. They totally ignored me. IF You can find someone to ask where something is, they multiple times have acted like I'm bothering them. Had one today that rolled ok but required much strength to turn it around. Today I made a suggestion that they put all the dairy-free items together so one could easily find them, instead of having to comb through each product to find the ONE LONE dairy free product. Again, it was like I was bothering her by suggesting something and she said "Is it the sour cream then or what? Well they just redid that section so I don't know if it's gonna happen." And I'm almost positive she was a manager. The appropriate response would be something like, "Oh that's an interesting idea. Let me bring that to my boss," or something similar. Ok, thanks for completely disregarding my suggestion. Who am I? Just your lowly customer, for whom you exist. I made a request to a manager a couple months ago and he was looking at his phone the whole time and acting like he couldn't wait for me to stop talking so he could get away from me. People seem to have no idea what customer service is supposed to look and feel like! Especially here. But that's ok. There are plenty of other option for groceries.

It's very rich, though, so you get a lot of flavor in a little bit, so it does last. My real find, though, was this Pork Tamale Handpie thing. I wish I could remember the name. The pork was flavorful and highly spiced, the dough flaky, and I don't know how they got the masa in there, but I could taste and feel it (you know that mouthfeel). It was buttery, flaky, crispy, spicy, meaty, and sweet all at the same time and I am positively obsessed. I was so glad to have decided to pick that one up. The store was lovely and the gentleman behind the counter was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. I will absolutely be back.

St Paul Meat Shop markets themselves as St Paul's only whole animal butcher shop. One of our favorite items is the pastrami. Their pastrami is amazing! Made and smoked in house. It is sliced thin and makes a great sandwich. They also have turkey which I believe is cooked sous vide. Our last visit we picked up some skirt steak and their juicy lucy burgers. As we were checking out, there was one condiment that we forgot and it didn't appear that they had that. The very nice gentleman was able to locate some for us and helped us out. Quality and service has always been top notch.
