I've been going here for years. Won't be going back. The staff was unmasked and unapologetic about it. Aside from violating state mandates, this is deeply insulting to the frontline workers who put their lives on the line to keep the rest of us safe. Liquor stores may be doing well but most small businesses are hurting - and actions like not masking up indoors will prolong the pandemic and end up sinking so many of them. Visiting my brother and sister in law for the weekend from New York, we went here to grab a bunch of stuff for a get together. I asked the man behind the counter to help me find something really quick (Jeff) -- he was the nicest man I have literally ever met in my entire life he had me, my sister, and my sister-in-law cracking up for the 15 minutes we were in there. This place is like right near my house. That is a plus. Whenever I need alcohol I am right there!!! They also have one of the only drive through's in southern maryland! They stay open late too!!! The owner is great and will pretty much order whatever you are looking for in case you can't find it there. I'd rate it a fair selection of imported beers. It needs a better location and then I'm sure they'd get much more business as it isn't in the best part of town...and its next to Cadillac Jacks. read more

Although they carry a lot of hard-to-find stuff, I'm going to go to other stores in the future because of the credit card minimum. Great selection of beer and liquor. Not the biggest selection of wine that i've ever seen but they have the essentials. Being in St. Mary's County, I can't complain. I went looking for Boulevard products and Int'l carried everything I was looking for. The employees were friendly and let me know they were there if I had any questions or needed help. I wish I could give you 10 stars to make up for that first guy's review back in 2010! I can't believe he is complaining about a $15 minimum for credit card payments. I mean, the credit card companies definitely don't make it easy for a small business in a small town. Every small business I have gone to here in Lexington had a minimum like that. Anyways... Excellent liquor store! I saw the other reviews saying how great it was so I HAD to check it out. I am glad I did. For the area and the small size of the store they have an impressive selection. I mean, I am from a big city so we have enormous liquor stores, so of course it wont have the selection that those huge stores have, but this place was a pleasant surprise. The staff was incredibly friendly. Two guys there (one about my age in his 30's and another older gentleman) both super helpful and friendly. That's why I'm taking my time to write this review on google which I never do. I was looking for a new scotch to try and they walked me around and showed me everything they had. The older guy even went in the back and found a nice 'scotch sampler' that wasn't on the shelf and ended up being EXACTLY what I wanted. Whenever I am back in town, this is the ONLY liquor store I will go to. Great selection, great prices and great owners. read more

This place is dang sure my 'go to' when it comes to anything. If all you are interested in is basic 'Americana" beers like Bud Light and Coors, yeah they got that but you are completely wasting your experience. This is a place for people with TASTE. the variety of beers, liquors, and wine are on point. If you can't find something there that suits your taste, be sure to speak to the employees, especially Jeff, Mick, or Tony. These fellas make it more than just a simple "you give me money, I give you booze" transaction. Each employee is personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. If they don't have the specific item you are looking for, they will order it if it is available in the area. If you can describe what you like, they will definitely help you find something comparable. They have never let me down. The prices aren't the cheapest, but neither are they too expensive. There is a minimum 15 dollar limit for all card transactions. The little bit extra you are paying for your drinks is made up for in spades with outstanding customer service and a noticeably better clientele than many of the other liquor stores in the county. I really can't praise this place and the employees enough. What are you waiting for? Go try something new! Go! read more
