I'd say the food was mediocre at best. It wasn't bad but wasn't wow I got to come back again either. Went with a friend and his mom. He got the shrimp platter which looked lack luster (but the small size of Coleslaw which I tried was creamy and sweet like coleslaw should be) and his mom got loaded tater tots, fried dumplings and a Cesar salad. The tots didn't come loaded as she asked for no cheese sauce and they just gave a dollop of sour cream in the middle with a sprinkling of green onions. Then the fried dumplings where hard and over crispy. I got the guac burger which was good the bun was buttery and lightly toasted but instead of using guacamole which honestly made a huge mess and I had to use a fork and knife to eat it I'd recommend avocado slices and the fries weren't bad they just kind of tasted grocery store quality with no real crunch. Now the drink selection wow blew me away with all the choices they served. The cider I got was crispy and refreshing and great. The server we had was okay forgot some things but I've had a lot worse. The ambiance was pretty modern and fresh. But both my friend and his mom raved about this place but honestly I didn't see what they saw. They said just must have been a off day or the folks in the kitchen we're new. They were kind of surprised themselves at the end of the meal as we were walking out. LOVE this place! We've never hung out in this area before but we took a drive and ended up here. We know the owners and decided to do college football Saturday here. Great place with lots of TVs. They have amazing food and a great drink menu. Live music on Saturdays. Our server, Kabir, was exceptional! He really took care of us. We will definitely be back!!! read more

Just opened recently, and I'm hoping to see them continue to grow and improve! The inside is clean, and feels like your typical sports bar but a bit brighter. My sister and I came in on a relatively open day and sat at the bar, wanting to try some snacks and a couple drinks. There is a good selection of beer, and I appreciated the bartenders help choosing and offering samples. The food is okay bar food, it came out quickly and was fine as a snack. It isn't anything I'd particularly seek after, but I do feel the drinks are the primary attraction. We did have some issues with the service, we spent a very long time trying to pay our bill and having the bartender ignore us, which made us feel quite uncomfortable and unwelcome. I'd perhaps stay for fewer drinks if I return for this reason (we had two and were there about an hour and 15), I felt like we'd upset the staff. Everything was great. Ability to sit at any open table is nice, rather than having to wait to be seated. Lots of tv's showing all sorts of sports (Orioles vs Royals was on one tv, Florida vs Auburn was on the one next to it). I had a burger, my wife had the fish & chips. Seems like a popular local hangout. I know prior reviews have knocked service and wait times. I can say that we did not have issues with either. Our waitress was attentive and all our orders came out quickly. The "Winter Old Fashioned" was a little sweet but decent. Brisket grilled cheese was a little lacking on the brisket but overall good flavor. Vibe of the place seems pretty cool and probably a good place to catch the game. I give the 2.5 stars. Ambience was nice although none of the TVs were on for lunchtime but looks like a decent place to get beer and watch football. Our server Leslie was absolutely fantastic. The bad... Met coworkers there for lunch and I was late getting there so I did not choose the seating and the work on the ceiling started after we had been there. There was construction going on with the ceiling directly above our table. We should have moved ourselves as they were messing with the tiles above with dust and debris falling in front of us. Once I saw debris I stopped eating and drinking. But workers directly working next to and above our table wasn't the best experience for food. Management should have closed off that section at least or not have patrons in the restaurant. The food was "ok" at best. I had the creole burger. It was ok. Basic bar food. Friend had chicken tenders, very undercooked and he couldn't eat it. Maybe would come here for some apps and beer for a game. But for a meal...probably won't be back. read more

Gave the place a shot after Annemarie Garden Christmas lights. Place was decently busy for a Wednesday evening, 7:15ish. Easy food menu and quite a decent selection of brews, a few from MD. We had the bourbon wings, brisket tacos, and chicken tenders with a pizza to go. Manager brings out the pizza "to go" first... No food. He explains why it happened and leaves the pizza on the table. Knows it's "to go" and that our in house food hasn't arrived. I had to ask the waitress to eventually take it back. The other food took 15+ more minutes to come out. When it was time for the check the "to go" pizza arrived and ends up being the original pizza just run thru the oven by the manager a second time. I decided to wait a few months after opening to give Brass Tap a try to let them work out the kinks. Unfortunately, my experience still wasn't great. We didn't eat food, we only went in for drinks so I cannot comment on the quality on their food. We sat at the bar and after about 15 minutes of waiting I finally flagged someone asking if we could order, he said sure but that he could only serve a beer quickly as he didn't know how to make the cocktails but he would have the mixologist make any mixed drink. I ordered a spicy margarita, and my husband asked for a Budweiser. They only had bud light as a heads up. My spicy margarita was very good. For our next round we ordered the pineapple chipotle margaritas and they were not good. They were overly sweet, the pineapple tasted artificial, and the chipotle was undetectable as was the tequila. I thought about asking for something else but didn't want to wait for them to make another drink, since the service was slow. Ultimately, the slow service ruined the experience. I really like the food here but the service has a lot to be desired. They have been open for a while now and should have these issues fixed. Every time we go we sit at the bar because usually you get faster service at the bar. Not here. If you are at the left side of the bar you're out of luck. The bartenders hang out at the right side of the bar. They have no sense of urgency ( bartenders or wait staff). Maybe try having two bartenders. We like to go and hang out for a few hours but when you only get waited on once an hour, you won't get much of our business I am very disappointed because I really like this place but as a person who has been a bartender ( wait staff/ manager of a bar) it is just not acceptable. read more

Walked in at 6:45pm on a Friday night and was able to find 2 seats at the bar. Welcoming atmosphere and decorated beautifully. The entire staff was incredible from the moment we sat down. I tried one of their seasonal cocktails (maple White Russian) 10/10 would recommend, absolutely phenomenal. My husband got a flight of draft beers (big oyster, winter storm, citrus squall, and worldwide stout) which were all great as well. We got the cheese curds which were to die for, along with the hot honey pizza, which was perfect to share and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come here again and bring my friends and family from out of town here! This is exactly the type of place this area needed! read more

We (4) had dinner at Brass Tap tonight. Other food was ok and French fries were good. My food came out after the others were done and the fish were 4 small fish bites. Not what I have had here before. They mistakenly brought a second fish basket to the table and the fish were at least twice the size but they did not leave them. When asked, the waitress got an attitude and said well we are comping your meal. Lots of other places to eat with better food. Also never saw a manager. Unhappy camper! read more

The positives: the atmosphere was ok, interestingly there was a "go army, beat navy" flag on the wall... anyway... sat and waited for more than 10 minutes before being acknowledged. We were asked to repeat our drink choices no less than three times and then things were delivered to the table completely out of order, app first, then 2 of 3 drinks, then maybe 10 minutes later the 3rd drink finally came. The appetizer was fine, nothing special. Service and speed could be massively improved with training. Honestly this place won't last because word will spread around the town unless they make some improvements. This place, is a disappointment. My wife and I have gone several times since opening . It gets worse and worse every time. The beer menu never matches what they on tap. Wait times for the bar to make a drink or pour a beer is extensive to the point that it's annoying. The food is either never fully cook, and when it is , it isn't served hot. Even after the remake on the food there is no improvement's. The only good thing about the place is the service from Madison she was on top of it and kept apologizing for the bar and Kitchen. The place needs a hard reset with management or ownership. I don't see this place lasting long. Tip of the day Chicken wing should not be served blood red in the middle. You are welcome!! read more
