The food truck is open Thursday through Sunday from around 11 AM to 7 PM I believe. Let me start this by saying I am from the south and we eat a lot of fried foods in especially fried seafood. I moved here and I was looking for a good place to eat that reminded me of home. At the time it had been pretty hard to find. I decided to stop by this food truck one day when I was on the way home from work. The guy that works there is very nice and patient. I ordered the two pieces of tilapia, six jumbo shrimp, one crabcake, and it came with fries and two hush puppies. Everything was amazing and reminded me of home. All of the food was cooked crispy, and it was not soggy or floppy. Everything was seasoned perfectly, not over season or under season. And the service was quick, it might have took 10 minutes. Everything is always fresh and it never taste like seafood. If you eat a lot of seafood, then you understand what I mean, yes, it is seafood, but it is not supposed to have that fishey smell. So you go to a town that is near the ocean, and I swear the best fish in town comes out of this small white food trailer. If you don't mind eating on the curb or sitting in your car, this is the place for you. You don't pay for fancy waitstaff or a brick and mortar storefront, just for fabulous seafood at market value. I had the catfish meal for $8.50. Compared to the few other places in town this price is a steal. Keep in mind this portion size is big enough for 2 people to share. The catfish nuggets were nicely breaded and fried golden brown. The French fries are just plain ole crinkle-cut fries but work nicely with the catfish. One word of advice, bring extra napkins and your own drink and bring your patience. Everything is cooked fresh, made to order and first come, first serve. Service was great! The location was easy to find and lots of parking around the food truck. Everyone was so friendly and patient considering we had a pretty large order. They clearly labeled all of our items, so it was super easy to distribute the meals at dinner -- no sifting through each meal multiple times to find the right order. OkAy- this was my go to place- when it was the little small/ trailer. However - now I WILL NOT be returning- I ordered the snow crab leg & shrimp boil- First I had more potatoes than I received SHRIMP (5) and they were NOT large nor medium. Secondly the "1/2" of pound of crab legs were 3 legs on a cluster- -I am NO Rocket Scientist, but by far I am Not an idiot- When I ordered the Boil I was told that I would receive 1/2lb of crab legs and 1/2lb of shrimp and that was $31 - Me thinking I was dealing with the same upright owners whom I had purchased seafood from for years just knew I'd be getting the 1/2 lb of each- but I was scammed. So upon arriving home I weighed the food on my kitchen scale the shrimp were not even "3 ounces"!!! WTF The so-called cluster of crab legs was "5.8 ounces" Now I did order a side of 1lb of snow crab legs - and they Weighed right at 1lb. However this was the most disappointing and waste of money that I have experienced in a while- I try to support small - owned local businesses, but experiences such as this truly makes it impossible to. A little more butter than I like myself, especially cause they give you butter on the side which definitely would not be needed with all the stuff that pools in the tray. This has to be the best seafood that I tried while in California, MD. Just a first note, this is a mobile food truck. They are open on Fridays, Saturday's, and Sundays. One more important tidbit is that the location they have for this place in Yelp is off. The truck is actually located a bit more west of the location in yelp directly in front of the family dollar. Now on to the food, this is my second time visiting the place. The first, I came at a time when blue crab was out of season. I had a pound of shrimp that were delicious. The sauce that they cover the food in is so good. It is a garlic/butter mix that is drool-worthy. This time around I had a combination platter that came with a mix of blue crab, snow crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, and sausage smothered in that delicious butter sauce. It was so good. Some other pointers would be to locate crab pliers. I cracked by hand and it was time consuming. Also, the price is a bit high but you get a good portion of food and also you are supporting local so you really can't complain. The last bit of advice is to not eat this in a car and use a bib or an old shit because it can get messy. This is definitely a must have along the good venture while in California, MD. Stopped by because of all the awesome yelp reviews, and I was NOT let down. Unfortunately they were out of crab when I stopped by (insert frowny face here), BUT I was able to get the garlic butter shrimp which was my very close second choice. This shrimp was so buttery, well seasoned, well cooked, and all around enjoyable. A friend got the fried whiting platter and it was massive. Three pieces of fish and fries with dipping sauce for something like $10ish. We ordered the crab cake meal as well which was enjoyable, but in general fried crab cakes are not my favorite. I was craving some good seafood and remembered this place. The last time I bought food from here was in 2019 and it was some of the best seafood I've had in the whole of MD and was boasting about this to my husband so he wanted to try it.I placed an order over the phone and went to pick it up. Pick up was quick and easy,customer service was great as well. When I got home and opened up the food I was immediately disappointed. The difference alone in the appearance of the food was night and day from when I ate from here in 2019. It was dull looking,the broth/sauce looked like herbed water(very watery),the corn looked old,the shrimp didn't look fresh and was falling apart,the baby potatoes were small and plain and so was the crab. All of the seafood was soggy and drenched in the sauce. The food was less than basic as was the flavoring. Everything was bland including the "broth". The corn and shrimp tasted old and not fresh. Nothing about this meal was satisfying. The portion size was off putting and stingy if you ask me.I paid $80 for 2 platters for my husband and I and we were STILL hungry after finishing our meals. The corn was soggy, greasy, and covered in the same seasoning as the seafood, which did not work well here at all.
