When walked in I was expecting to see coolers full of bud light, miller, corona...the usual suspects at most liquor stores. WRONG!! Those brands are represented, but are not the main players in this establishment. Totally blown away by the selection of craft and micro brews inside such a small space. Really impressive. Not at all what I was expecting. Appears to have a decent wine selection as well. Upon leaving, walked away with a free pint glass as well as a loyalty card. Definitely my new go to place when wanting to try a beer off the beaten path. Worth the visit for anyone wanting to try something new.

One can certainly find significantly larger selection at liquor superstores in Warwick or Attleboro, and if you are looking for exotic wines or champagnes then you probably would be much happier at those places, but Murphy's does have a surprisingly wide selection of certain items packed into a compact space. Murphy's holds its own with sake, mead, and other less in-demand beverages that small stores typically ignore because they are quite a lot smaller and quite a lot more expensive, and Murphy's best competes as an alternative to those. As a practical matter, if I'm buying a bottle of table wine to bring as a dinner guest or something of that sort, I'm more likely to buy it from Murphy's than from anywhere else because of good prices and convenient location.

You can't always judge a book by its cover, after all. But sometimes you really can judge a book by its cover. This place is as ghetto as it looks. While having dinner at Doherty's we did a mental inventory of the beer fridge at home and realized we didn't have enough to make it through a Bruins playoff game. I love a place with a good selection and Yelp says that this place has it. I suppose, if you're comparing Murphy's to your average neighborhood liquor store then their selection is pretty decent. But this is no Chris Gasparo's or Yankee Spirits. If you want selection then you need to go to one of the big guys. The selection here is simply above average. The big issue with this place is that it's dirty. Yes, that's in part due to the trashy folks you get walking in and out. While we were there two girl size 26 girls wearing size 6 spandex waltzed in. At one point they simultaneously bent over causing layers of flab to cascade over their skimpy clothing. It was the stuff that nightmares are made of. But the customers aren't the real issue. People watching in Pawtucket is actually one of my favorite hobbies. The problem is that the place itself is just plain dirty. There's one spot with a crumpled up fleece on the floor that's meant to capture water from the dripping roof. Every cooler was covered in grime. The whole place is just dingy. Not to mention, the layout is clumsy. The beer is in three completely different corners of the store. Look, I get it. I don't like my neighborhood liquor store either and I don't give it a shitty score on Yelp because I still go there on a regular basis. It's in my neighborhood and it's convenient. But let's be honest here, this place is really ghetto. If I lived across the street then I'd get my beer there, but I wouldn't like it. Since I don't live in the area I sure as hell won't be back.

They're knowledgeable, fun, & very willing to work within your budget & taste preferences. For a relatively small store, they have quite a varied selection of wine. I popped in to the store last night while I was waiting for my sushi order to be ready for takeout just down the road. Imagine my unbridled delight when I saw a section of the refrigerated wines labeled as "Wine For Sushi & Spicy!" I actually laughed out loud. Precisely what I was looking for, & didn't even need to ask. I went with a Grüner Veltliner & it was, as expected, delicious with my sushi. The next day, I received a call from Curtis informing me that unfortunately they do not have Le Berceau Blanquette de Limoux Brut in store, but they were putting in an order and can let me know when it arrives. I was not in a rush so I informed Curtis that I can wait. 8 days later, Curtis texted me that the Le Berceau Blanquette de Limoux Brut was in. I walked in and I informed the cashier that I was here to pickup an online order. Curtis was also behind the counter and he jumped in and asked are you Stephanie? I said "Yes! That's me." He said he got a whole case in so I purchased another bottle. The next time I was at Campus Fine Wines was for a Yelp event. Most recently, I went back to purchase a bottle of one of the wines we tasted at the Yelp experience. I was looking around the store for the bottle and Howard approached me and asked if I needed help with anything. I said I was looking for the Benito Santos Saiar Albarino 2023. He showed me exactly where the bottles were. All the staff at Campus Fine Wines are really friendly and welcoming. Campus Fine Wines has a great selection and I trust them to have good wines.

Typically there are various cases (24 cans) for $13.99 and 12 packs for $6.99. We stopped in this week and the deals were so good we ended up stocking up for the whole summer. The gentlemen that work the counter are also great and always willing to help you out to the car if you find your hands are full.

Reyes Liquors has an appropriate selection of booze given the neighborhood…read more By appropriate, and suspending judgment (to each their own), here's a sample list of the very wide variety of selection and quality you can find here: Foolproof, Colt 45 malt liquor, Shipyard, Arbor Mist, Peak Organic, Sutter Home White Zinfandel, Moët & Chandon Rose Imperial, Casillero del Diablo, Jäger (ok fine. I judge the Jäger). I personally think you'll get a really bad hangover from a lot of the options here (esp. the wine), but the craft beer selection is surprisingly good and I love the mix-a-six. What I don't like about this place is that sometimes the pricing seems out of whack with alternatives, the price labeling can be better (there's been times I'd have to wait in line to get the register to scan an item to understand cost), and the parking situation can be a major cluster with patrons haphazardly blocking the road and private lot (common sense people, TRIPLE parking on the street and sidewalk and/or blocking the lot entrance in your car is rude!). I like Reyes Liquors just fine, I just wouldn't feel compelled to make a special visit if I wasn't already in the neighborhood.
